There are "Co-op" challenges in the Wii U version using the GamePad screen. One player controls Mario and the other uses the touch screen, and it's exclusive to that version for obvious reasons.
Uh... Well it wouldn't work (at least in local multiplayer) since, you know, you can only use the touch screen when you are playing with it (not a TV screen), and someone touching the screen you're playing on is... Not convenient.
I remember spending HOURS on 1 challenge at a time when I was younger because I was a huge Completionist, if only I played these nowadays, it could’ve saved so many hours of my life.
This is basically the equivalent of a Souls game. Hard as balls, and you can't BS your way through it. If you get gold, it's because you EARNED that gold.
this is the opposite of how difficulty works in dark souls games lol. dark souls is a prime example of a game that is easy or as difficult as you make it.

As someone who beat the swamp level, i can tell you a couple things: 1: you don't spin, extra air time might f*ck you because Mario devs almost never use spin in their strategies. 2: if you dont reach the blocks, you were too early 3: if you slide on a slope, you are going too fast for the platform you triple jump off of to appear in time, making you unable to make the jump 4: You have to delay your triple a little unless you spin, which is why spinning is not reccomended 5: Remember that the Mario devs are the greatest goddamn players in this universe, so it might take a lot of tries to copy them if you dont pay attention to every single hypothetical input and action they make on the videos. So use the videos not as an "what do i do", but rather as a " WHEN do i do".
Correct me if I’m wrong but on the hills holding the down button instead of letting go for the triple jump can save some time and then you can let go in air

bro I actually finished making a series about this on my youtube channel and it was hell. Like for some of these challenges when I was recording them, it took me almost an hour for a couple of these and especially for the last few challenges in the special category where I spent over 40 mins on each one when recording. That was hell and lemme tell u it was so damn satisfying when I completed them
