    This was an awesome video man! I had a very similar leak in my EK that I've been chasing for months... Will definitely check these spots next time I want to battle the spiders inside it lol

    Great video, I tried everything in my eg hatch and it still leaks. I was sure it had something to do with that but obviously couldn’t see in there. Now thanks to u I can go in knowing exactly the problem and is now a simple fix 👍✌🏻

    i think the drain channel near the windshield clips is clogged that's the main reason water cannot find its way out

    I have a leak on both front footwells on my EG hatch and its driving me nuts lol. I cleaned the wiper cowl area and replaced the foam seal on plastic cowl but still leaks. I'm guessing it's cracked seam sealer somewhere but thanks for the video, I will follow it and try seam sealing around the edges of the hinges

      They love to leak. There's also some spots by the battery try that the seam sealer fails and allows water in. Hope u get it sorted 🤞🤞

      @@mullac720 Just to update, I fixed the leak. Turns out the seam sealer around the boot hinges was cracked. I should've checked this before instead of half stripping whole car lol.

      @@h4mza786hella late but where exactly are the boot hinges ? I have an eg and im dealing with a leak, replaced the windshield cowl rubber underneath, i had them on both floorboards fixed the passenger but still getting into the drivers side and i don’t know what it is. I sealed the top where the motor for the windshield wipers is and didn’t work

    What kind of sealer did you use

    • @mullac720
      @mullac720  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      i would usually use U-pol Tiger Seal, but i ran out so i just used some brushable seam sealer not sure of the brand
