- A lot of us are spending an incredible amount of time at home due to the pandemic and you guys are probably looking for good ergonomic chairs. For today's episode I'll share with you some tips after spending tens of thousands of pesos on several chairs. I've made a lot of mistakes and hopefully by watching this video you guys won't end up wasting your money like I did. I hope you find this helpful and good luck on your search for the perfect chair!

I would agree with you for this sir Carlo. I just bought my Cougar Black Fusion, which is yes a gaming chair in leather and I do feel the warmth at the back and the seat so I try to get up from time to time. So sad this video came out a bit late but all good. Now I know what I should be buying next time I go looking for a new chair!

LeBron James eh not true Astro gaming headsets have amazing Dolby atmos 7.1 surround sound which is 10/10 just cost $350
LeBron James it’s not absolute BS there are slight benefits of 7.1 surround sound over 5.1 surround sound but they still use Dolby atmos and audio quality it top notch, Best headphones I’ve ever had and I’ve had a lot of headphones.
J.A Belmes yeah I don’t ever use wireless headphone I have the Astro A40’s and I have a custom EQ setting specifically for gaming and an EQ setting specifically for music and they sound great.
Nothing will beat the infamous Monobloc chairs been using one and I just put a billow for my back haha! 🎉 but those chairs in the video look great and worth it 🎉

Wow that Herman Miller Aeron starts at around 50k plus more if you add upgrades. Looks good but these budget friendly options are probably decent as well.
I've been 100% work-from-home for 5.5 years. About 3 years ago I got an office chair that matches all these criteria, is super comfortable, and has held up like a dream. I don't even know what brand it is but it was $15 at my local 2nd hand store. Never in my life have I been prouder or more thankful for a bargain.

@@DanielZH Moreso than I realized. I'm woefully unobservant as a rule but I just gave her a thorough cleaning for the first time in a while and she's either a Herman Miller or a pretty convincing counterfeit.

Before you uploaded this, i bought my ergonomic chair. I had a week researching and contemplating why I should not buy a gaming chair and ended up buying an ergo chair put of nowhere. It’s the best decision I ever made because lumbar support is better AND the mesh build is really comfortable.

Yeah totally agree with the best chair "Herman Miller Aeron". that is the reason why i miss working from office. LOL
The only reason why I switched to a gaming chair is that as much as I want an ergonomic office chair, the ergo office chairs available in our area are not really that durable in long term. We already had 3 and each only lasted us 2-3 years. So yeah quality is an issue and note that they are as expensive as a gaming chair. That's why we decided to try on a gaming chair. It is better in terms of quality, but the ergonomics is not as good as office ones, yeah leather is not as comfy as mesh. I wish I've seen this earlier. I bought this "ergonomic" gaming chair last April, it was all good till my leg and back started sweating 🤭. I just use the uratex plastic chair now 😅

This is true. We've had a gaming chair before we started WFH pero we've noticed na using it for longer hours nag cacause siya nang lower back pain. So we decided to look for a mesh one with back support similar to what Sir Carlo have and it did the trick. I also bought an additional support from backjoy like what his wife have. Need to invest talaga in these things lalo na if you will use it for a long run.

@@TSAX Yung sitsmart traction yung binili ko. Nawala yung lower back pain ko after a week of using it. It helps me with my sitting posture. Medyo pricey nga lang. Pero worth it naman for me.

Exactly. Someone who make really sense pag dating sa chair preference ng ergonomics at airflow. Lalo na kung hindi naman nka AC palagi ung area mo, mainit ang leather. I'm really planning to buy a high back mesh chair w/ lumbar support. btw ganda nung lumbar support ni misis mo sir.

Cougar Argo imo is way better than aeron. Another budget ergo chair you may consider is the Sihoo M18 and M57, both have mesh back support with M57 having mesh seat and 3D adjustable armrest.
As always lumbar support is a must.

where to buy online for the herman miller chairs sir?
I don't care whether I end up with a decent gaming chair or a decent ergonomic office chair. I just really want a replacement for my rickety wooden chair that I can use with my desk! I'm really starting to notice that my posture isn't exactly perfect a lot of the time I'm sitting, and I want to save on back pain and related medical costs in the future, if I have the choice.

I owned a DxRacer for about 6 years and by the time I got rid of it my back and butt would be extremely sore from sitting in it.
As I was doing research for good chairs I found out that buying a Herman Miller Aeron in the used market was the best move for most people. So that's what I bought and I love it, worth every penny. If I had to pick a runner up chair that I would have gotten it would be the Steelcase Leap V2.

Great video Carlo. Thank you for getting straight to the point of why current gaming chairs are awful. As someone who works from home, the better you take care of yourself the higher quality work you produce. Herman Miller is more expensive, but it is always better to invest quality tools. It is amazing how a good chair can make life so much better.

The big issue I find with chairs is no neck support. Even the chair you have I looked at before but passed on it because no neck support. I find the right height of a chair to be very important. I went with the big and tall Lazy Boy chair. Forget the name but it's a cream colour. It's super comfortable and has a very tall back. No adjustable arms which I dislike but it's just so comfortable. Only thing is if you're under 6ft it's not for you as your feet won't touch the ground. I have a foot support as well, but without it my feet would barely touch. Feet solid on the ground is also very important when picking a chair.
