What letters? You should be more be specific if you want a precise answer. If you're talking about the dropped R's in :" bir" or the verb suffix "-iyor", that's the way Turkish is spoken. The future tense also sounds different from the way it is spelled.

Plz don't fret too much. In simple words mine was an implied or declarative question which is written in the same form as spoken. If you read it as a declarative question you wouldn't need to ask the other person to be more specific for a precise answer. Native speakers tend to drop letters or do not put stress upon certain letters. It was interesting to note that for Turkish as well because the presenter spoke with a speed with which I felt comfortable. This gave me a chance to listen more intently which I didnt get earlier with other presenters. So that was it..a declarative question.
