Selin you’re soooo cute I love to learn from u
Abla çook şükür bu vedoya çok feydalari var benimkide tek tek anladim
The aim of asking like "sen kimsin?" is actually not a question. It means "you are nothing". It's a typical insult to the opponent when arguing. In case of too much testosteron, fists start talking. :D
As well, I think it means the equivalent in English of "Who do you think you are?"
In "Muhteşem Yüzyıl" series, we often hear something like:"Kes seseni"! for "shut up"! or "stop it"! especially:
* Fehriya told it to one of the unsatisfied concubines.
* Hurrem told it to her daughter Mihrimah exactly the moment of her divorce with Rustem.
* Gülşah told it to one of the concubines the moment of her transfer.
That's true but in the first episode of “Muhteşem Yüzyıl", Valide Sultan told to Hürrem in Russian “shut up" and that phrase was written in Turkish as: kapa çeneni.
Don't forget it!
I live in England but I love Turkey and love to learn turkish language
Muhteşem yüzyıl bring me to Turkey...time to speak türkiş 😆
,,Benimle dalga mı geçiyorsun?''
are you making a wave with me?
that's right!!
this is a special translation by me!
As a Turkish native, i'm tired of laughing, it's not "wave" it's actually can't translate. It's the Tukish way, but it's means "are you kidding me?"
This is literally means "Benimle şaka mı yapıyorsun?" but we usally don't say this, we say "Benimle dalga mı geçiyorsun?"
benimle
( (with) me)
dalga
(kidding)
mı
(are)
Geçiyorsun?
(Litterally means you but not you)
@@atakan8595
what kind of foot are you?
it's fun to laugh at, of course that doesn't make sense in English.
me and my friends just laugh😂😂
@@giacomoleopardi9910 what? Wait, are u Turkish? This is the Turkish way "what kind of foot are you?" If you're not Turkish, i can say, you know the Turkish culture, very good
Teşekkürler.
Sen kimsin kısmına bayıldım :)
Selin, you are the best teacher. I appreciate you ❤️🌹🙏
Number 10 is more like "Who do you think you are"? in English, not "Who you are/ Who are you?" Tnx! for this video!

@@emrebilgintm Arkadaşımız şakasına demiş bunu. Hollanda'da yoğun bir Türk nüfusu olduğundan onlar da ister istemez oradaki Türklerin sıkça kullandığı ifadeleri kapıyorlar. Tabii dillerinde yok öyle bir şey.
@@DatBowlingGuy Günlük hayata ister istemez giriyor. O yüzden Türk etkisi yazmıştım.

We iranian also have kapa çenini but we say close your mouth which is too close to it.
❤️❤️❤️
