Incredible. Enjoy it you worked so hard for it. Built not bought for sure. Amazing video beautiful camera work as well. All I can say is man it’s over. 🐕 🥓 🌳 🔥
Really nice set up, and proper 4 WD truck for such rugged camping. I watched you build this camper, and i Gotta say, for remote winter camping in good Timber, the wood burner/ stove is just fantastic ! A man after my own heart, if i was much younger . Having the dog on these type adventures, is priceless :)
You did such a great job building Eddie. He seems quite comfy and a great size. Big enough to move around a bit and small enough to squeeze in where you want to take him. And he looks great. Now I think I'll be making blueberry pancakes and bacon tomorrow for breakfast! :D
A man, his dog, good food and drink, all in the camper he built with his own hands, perfect. Have you considered wider off road tires for trips like this?
love that you are talking to us. its different than The outdoor boys. the reason I watch his videos is he talks to the camera. there is other camping channels here but they don't talk its boring just watching some dude do all his camping things without acknowledging us. good job man, i love the camera angles and the quality of the picture i am a new follower
*_I salute you when there is a lot of snow, you dare to go solo camping by taking your vehicle deep into the forest and adding a trailer again, you are indeed great sir .... Greetings to me, Rudy Tutorial Outdoor from Indonesia_*
I have to comment………… by far this is going to be one of top videos ever. Dude it actually brought tears to my eyes. Your shit was going on?you definitely had it going on !!!!!! And the best part ? Your best friend with you. I enjoyed it so much. Very professional and well done. Great job
Looked like a nice relaxing time out in the wilderness and so much better with your cozy trailer.Your living the life Scott enjoy your retirement. 🙂🇨🇦👍👍👍👍
Careful, as wet wood burning builds creosote more double rate of dryer wood burning, it's cool see puppy all grown, as last I saw u I believe she was a puppy, sorry for ur loss of the older one, Definitely get u some window tint or blinds even if just for security for old eddy
Hey just found your channel awesome to see another home built trailer from Ontario! Funny about 4 weeks ago I parked beside your rig in Moab at the grocery store. I had the cargo trailer camper and ranger. Anyways nice videos! So many great camping spots in Ontario!
@@DrenalinAdventures yeah I was the crazy guy walking around your trailer! Love it… keep up with the videos they are good. Maybe we will see you out there sometime.
@@DrenalinAdventures So many great spots! I’ve become spoiled now I don’t camp unless I can get down water front…. I think the 4wheelers are shocked when they come around the bend and we are all set up with the trailer right on the lake!
I recommend a plan to contain the chain oil that will leak out while stored, the lube you put in that saw, it will make a mess in your cabinet. I chose to just run mine dry with some dry lube to avoid the oily mess, as I do not use it all that often and the battery will probably die before the unlubed chain does.
LOL! That comment was for another video but guess it worked here too. LOL! Stupid TH-cam. I think cause the video I was commenting on ended and your video started right after in the playlist I made to catch up on videos this weekend. So put the Comment in the wrong video. LOL! Anyways, love Eddy still and all the great scenery you're capturing. That build is definitely one of a kind.
Nice trailer you made. But you should have sloped the back up a bit and done tandem axles. Pull so much nicer and ride so much nicer on rough terrain. Easier on the build when it rides smoothly
Pretty awesome stuff you are doing out there, But I’ll stick to state parks and campgrounds and occasionally Bureau of Land Management. At 66 years old I am not that adventurous anymore.
Great video! The battery set up at 01:00 blows me away. How you know how to do all that! Amazing! Can you send a link so I can start the learning process? I currently have 1 deep cycle battery for my LED lights.
I just found your channel and love it, Your trailer is fabulous. It doesnt even look like a dyi. Whats your dogs name ? Do you have a video of how you built the trailer ?
Canadians are evidently nature loving and outdoors people. But I prefer Hawaiian landscape to all the "fun" you had in Utah! To each his own. Thanks for demonstration of placds to avoid. By the way, you can ski on the BIG island..
Hey Scott! Another great little vid. I've been following you since you were a guest on Joe's channel! I'm in London Ontario, and that looks like that's Southwestern Ontario. I'd love to know what region that is in. I'm not asking for coordinates just a general idea. I usually have to drive north of Sudbury or west of Ottawa to my favourite spots. Something a little bit closer would be nice
How the hell do you keep your chainsaw from leaking bar oil? I've got the same saw as you but I keep mine in a plastic tote with a bunch of wood shavings at the bottom because it leaks all of the excess oil out until it's empty. Love your relationship with your pup too. I have a very close bond with my current puppy as well. She's a little love machine and I'm ok with that.
Enjoying the fruits of your labour. Now that has to be very satisfying. Good on you. Oh, and bacon.
The best!
Great night if you ask me! Peace and quiet: Who would have thought?? LOL
Hahaha. Thanks 👍
Love seeing a "normal" trailer on some forest roads doing just fine. Thx for sharing.

All the hard work you put in building the trailer must make those pancakes taste all the better.
Thanks, it is rewarding to reflect on all the work.

I was worried the camper would tip over, and then the truck. Then, that you’d get stuck or flood your truck!
After finally getting my new hitch I wanted to really test things out.

Where did you get your coffee grinder and filter holder or whatever it is called? I would like to have that coffee making setup!
The coffee grinder was a gift from my daughter.
Where did you get that truck bed cover? I need one.

Americans think they have to have a monster diesel truck to tow campers off road. Australians use land cruisers.
How is the dog not running away?
Does your dewalt saw leak bar oil out of the cap too?
Yes, but I found if I keep it on it's side it's good.

It's about 5000 pounds. I have the F250 because I carry my ATV on the tonneau.
