    Wow! I've been saving up to buy a Vitruvian. Although I might still wait and purchase a Vitruvian, the emergence of alternatives like this is very encouraging. This kind of competition is a good sign for the market. Perhaps Vitruvian will introduce a more affordable model.

    The first company that makes a small one with a decent amount of weight that can serve as your traveling gym will make some money

    You can also increase and lower the weight from the handles. Ecentric mode is the weight you set and concentric is automatically half the weight you set for ecentric.

    The wall mount is a compelling option. Not being able to pull from above is why I haven’t bought the Vitruvian.

      Feeling the same, but was thinking about getting a small pulley on the wall and using an extended cable. What you think? haven't seen that so that why I'm not sure if it a good idea

      @ It would most likely work. I just prefer turn key solutions, or if I have to DIY a solution then my preference is to DIY the whole thing.

      @gx12 i was checking the Innodigym website now. One of their options comes with the pulley

      @ That’s excellent. I noticed their Lite model is also wall mountable.
      It’s surprising that Vitruvian hasn’t come up with an add on solution like that- I understand it with the Speediance Gym Pal since they’re trying to get you to upgrade to the bigger unit.

    I am also interested in how the resistance feels - if it is balanced on both sides? Similar in feel / smoothness to Speediance or Vitruvian?

      @ConnectTheWatts  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I would say similar to Speediance, not quite on par with Vitruvian

      In most cases yes, but it is also more expensive

    How do you perceive the quality of the weight? In terms of the weight feel, is it as smooth as traditional cable machines? It would be very helpful if you could compare the weight sensations of all the digital weight machines, perhaps with ratings for Vitruvian, Speediance, Tonal, etc.
    btw, thanks always for your videos.

    • @ConnectTheWatts
      @ConnectTheWatts  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      It felt pretty smooth. It's not on the same level of smoothness as Vitruvian, but not too far off from Speediance. It's also one of these things that tend to improve the longer the product is out as Ive noticed most companies make frequent updates to improve this. Nothing of course, feels AS smooth as most traditional cable machines

      @ConnectTheWatts Is the 330 lbs on the P1Max (which feels lighter) on par with the 220 lbs of the GymPal (which feels heavier)?

      none that I have noticed, though you can step on the button on the P1 Max as an alternate way to turn on/off the loading which can be helpful

      For my unit, it does has some sort of spotter mode, it triggers if you stay on a weight for too long, then It drastically drops the weight.

      Yes, you can go into settings and turn on spotter mode, which will quickly drop the weight if you struggle to complete a rep. I don't think that's the default on the machine, I had to go into settings to turn it on.
