I have seen this advertised like crazy this week. Sounds like a serious advertisement push. Great review.

Awesome review, Matt. Very informative. The functionality of the app is a bonus point.

I'd love to see a comparison of this and the Vitruvian. The Vitruvian costs more but also goes to a higher weight. Outside of that, I'm curious to hear the differences.
Also, Speediance is coming out with the Gym Pal which seems to be similar to this.

I'd like to know differences between this one and the Speediance Gympal...

That is a very cool device. I am buying a bullworker myself

Wow! That gadget is full of impressive technology! I think this gadget might be best used as a luxury addition to a home gym, but it doesn't look essential. For much less than $1600, you can buy some dumbbells, a pullup bar, and some P90X DVDs. And as a bonus, you could also buy some forearm forklift straps and a world fit iso trainer. 🙂

Just checked the UK price. £6,886-00 Fine, of course, if it includes a team of kinesiologists.

I went there to double check, I believed it has different perks like US$999, US$1099 and things like that, I didn't see the 6K pound perk.

@@user-kz8dc5ls8f Matt's GS calisthenics and overcoming isometrics books, and an adjustable strap are all one (me, anyway) needs. Motivation only comes long-term from experimentation to find what works for you...blasphemy in today's society.

I can't wait for the price of these to go down. Cool technology.

we have Speediance as the Tonal killer ( I own one and its fantastic) . Now we have this to kill Vitruvian. But I have not seen digital resistance work in this way yet. Intriguing

Great review. Which mode did you use for isometrics?

Very interesting - if you have a load of money you don't need. What was good enough for Doug Hebburn and Paul Anderson, Steve Reeves or Reg Park is good enough for me.

I'll admit the eccentric training mode is quite interesting.

Hi Matt, will you say that the resistance feels heavier than dumbbells?

  • @CWaldman

    How long is the bar?
It not being long enough for the average adult seems to be a pretty big oversight.

Is the pull smooth or jerky?

    Wall mounts?

Hi, thank you for the comment. It can't hang on the wall. It has a small footprint and thin. It only can use on the floor with accessories and bench.

The resistance is not enough. They could make it 400lbs, but they didn't. Shame😢

I've heard that a lot of the machines like this are rated for "200lbs" but feel heavier than what it says on the label

      That’s for 135lbs. It’s 1600$ for 265lbs

Matt you invest to much money in pieces of junk. Just use the gym instead 😂

I’m genuinely confused. This piece of machine is a gym machine, is it not? Why would you want to use a gym when you can just have your own home gym?

    • @Bakuran1987
      @Bakuran1987 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

I'm sure this is cheaper compared to a full-blown home gym. You can't compare this to a gym with a membership fee when the concept is to have a gym at home without worrying about the crowd or sharing any equipment. I'm sure you probably go to Planet Fitness.
