Is the new mode you mentioned an isokinetic mode? Currently TUT with slightly overshooting the target weight is about as close as I can get. Same thing with pump for dynamic movements
Yeah… I got part of my first workout today on the VT+. I did it in first person on my Apple Vision Pro. However, I cannot get the low bar squats to work. The ROM will not calibrate, and I am just doing air squats and no reps are being counted. Not sure what is going on…
Hey Colin. Thanks for this. Loving my trainer+. I was curious if you still have a subscription to the membership? Neither my wife and I use the videos, so just wondering if I should get it after the free 3 months. I’m guessing the biggest reason to get it would be for any technological updates to the trainer, but wanted to get your thoughts on yay or nay to getting the membership. Thanks!
yes I have the lifetime one, but if you dont use the classes/videos, you might want to try using it without a membership... you could also add it back later if you felt you were missing something that was worth coming back for
I would like more of a review of the app and its programs. All the reviews are focused around 'old school' ways of working out, which is cool. But it would be nice to see someone complete a program and relay back the results, with data. Connected fitness reviews need to really speak to the UX/behaviors/psychological factors and data more than just a garage gym review website that looks at rubber quality or whatever.
maybe not exactly what you are looking for, but I think I tried to dig into a decent amount regarding the programs and the app in my original review here: th-cam.com/video/BHrdNSzkimg/w-d-xo.html
not sure I have a ton of specific examples, but just after a long day it feels much easier to get started with a workout on Vitruvian compared with traditional strength equipment like barbells
I've owned mine for a bit over a year and a half. The 'friction' that this removes for me is mainly time doing things that I don't enjoy or that slow the momentum of my workout. I personally do program workouts, once that workout is programmed I just turn the machine on and do my workout. Due to the lack of having to adjust weights/equipment I'd say my workouts are half the time or less for an equivalent workout with free weights. Since I'm not bogged down with tedious activities I don't lose momentum and am generally able to keep higher energy throughout my workout. You can set workouts to scale as well, this means if you hit new personal bests on a specific movement your other workouts using that movement will increase to accommodate that change and you don't have to worry about adjusting them manually.
yes, and changing weights just takes a few button presses on the app, so much easier to change weights with Vitruvian than with traditional equipment. Though, it will all just record under one persons profile, so probably best to use the profile of whoever lifts more, so you dont mess up your PR data

Just received my Vitruvian trainer. This Q & A answered many of my questions. Thank you
Do you know when the v-frame is coming out?
unfortunately I believe the CEO recently announced that the v frame won’t be coming due to how much it would cost to produce and ship
Thank you for the info.

I like the lack of friction to do your workout! Do you have more examples of how it saves time, mental/physical friction, etc.? Thanks.

Thanks for your insights. Reducing transition time and just moving is what I need between busy work and life.
still waiting on them to have that upper attachment, they could atleast put out an update on it... will be watching the speediance comparison
Would you use VOLTRA 1 instead of the Vitruvian pro if you have limited space? Thanks for any tip
Hard to say since I haven’t tried it
This is a great machine.
Can 2 people workout together where you take turns doing sets?

Great video! Thank you
Gympal is better and half the price
