Your mileage drops if your always doing jack rabbit take offs. Not much difference in the 2023 and 2024. I probably shouldn't have done a pedal to the medal test with only 10 miles on the engine but I did. 0-60 in about 8 seconds. The mpg on the dash drops when using too much turbo. A 21 gallon tank is estimated to go 485 miles. Another feature that is not talked about is the plus and minus buttons on the shifter. Put the truck in low gear, the 2 buttons become manual shifting. L1, L2, L3, L4, L5 etc. and can be used on steep hills as an engine brake when towing. It's my first ever turbo and as demonstrated here it is very impressive.

Every video I've seen that has to do with the Colorado WT says the same thing about towing. The engine in this vehicle is known as a L2R engine and because it is rated at 237hp it can only tow 3500 pounds. L2R engines do not have a cover on top of the engine. The L3B Turbomax Plus and the Turbomax HO are rated at 310 hp and can tow 7700 pounds and do have a cover on top of the coil packs. The body style for the 2023 is the same for the 2024, They look the same to me. The debut for the L2R engine was 2023 then offered in 2024 but dumped for 2025. The HO got rebranded for 2025 as the Turbomax.

I picked up a new to me 2020 a week ago. My wife got into an accident from a red light runner. She came out of it ok but the 2012 GMC Acadia did not unfortunately and insurance totaled it. I’m 53 and I’m a homebody basically. To my work is 38 miles and home is 38. Barely go over 2,500 rpms on the way. It’s the interstate so it’s pretty much straight all the way to work. I leave at 2:20 pm and get there at 3 pm 3:02pm not bad. I work 3pm to 11 pm.

That’s a SWEET car! Why does my 2022 Mustang GT have analog dash but yours has digital??? I hate analog but I wanted a manual and I looked everywhere so this place had it. After 2018 a dash should not be analog. They are boring. Your dash looks awesome. And get rid of those ridiculous screens the 2024 has!!

Low miles doesn't equal good or bad care. And high mileage vehicles can only have been treated so poorly to get there.

This is a great video. I have the 2014 model of this diesel and the only major problem I had with it was the NOX2 sensor which thankfully was replaced by GM under a special warranty (the old was was the original revision). My model doesn't have the trunk button or the sunroof (which I don't need anyway) but it rides smoothly and is comfortable. My only concern is that if the DPF filter goes under the car is pretty much screwed because there's no replacement filter anywhere.
