I have a Canon Rebel SL2 that I got for $400. It seems to be one of the last of the EF/EFS lens mount cameras. It also acts like a mirrorless camera in "live mode". The M50 seems like a good start point now if you are just starting to get lenses with EF-M mounts. Canon does have an adaptor for using EF/EFS lenses on the M50. I just don't think there would be that big of a difference in the photos since they both are 24mp crop sensor cameras.
Awesome! This helped me alot. Been looking through many cameras and wasn't sure which camera would be perfect for me. I settled for the Xt-200 but sadly its out of stock everywhere in the Netherlands for me. I'm a casual shooter and trying to get into videography but nothing serious!
Very good informative videos! I am trying to search a camera to shoot tattooing process and some Macro, VLOG/MACRO/FOTO/SPORT. Have seen lot videos around but still not sure what ti choose. What you advice for my needs? SonyA6100? Or? I am really lost on this.
I'm a photography novice looking for a camera for just photography. For video, I already have a GoPro Hero 10 as well as Insta360's ONE R 1" and GO 2. aaaaaand I don't know what to do. 😆
So for Christmas I now have a little Canon EOS M 18mp mirrorless with a Kamlan 50mm f/1.1 manual focus lens. You know, just to torture myself but the Bokeh is really good when you get it right. Going to use the SL2 as my video cam.
Hye i like the video. May i ask, what do you think about olympus Em10 mark iiis? Thinking getting that since the price within my budget. Tq in advance.
Video came in perfect timing as I want to switch from SL2 to a mirrorless and want to get more serious about my photography and cinematography. Is the M50 a good intro to mirrorless from the SL2?
Yes. What the video doesn't mention is that the M50 can shoot Full HD video (1920 x 1080), at 60 fps, 30 fps, or 24 fps, and 25fps, while the M200 is only able to shoot 720p
M50 is a great but the EF-M lens line is not worth the investment. After I bought the M50 with the kit lens, the next thing I bought was an EF to EF-M speed-booster and the EF 50mm f/1.8 STM. If I could go back I would have not bought the kit lens and go with just the body + the adapter + an EF or EF-S lens. And since you have your SL2 this should be something to think about.
I think you mean 55k INR I would suggest you to get the fujifilm Xt200 instead of Canon M50 ii since fuji is great in both photo and video and also you can play around with the film simulation for creative photos only down side is the battery life is little lower than the Canon! And Xt200 is also in sale for 50k and you can spend the other 5k in extra gears you need 👍🏻
Good call reminding to "hit the like button" somewhere in the middle of the video. It stands out more as a reminder and your content is awesome, so I wouldn't WANT to forget anyway. Thank you for reminding me to like your video, sir.
Wait. Why not m4/3 cameras? Panasonic and Olympus have excellent cameras and low prices. Better 4k video than Canon, cheap very good lenses, overall smaller system, etc. I think the better affordable mirrorless are the M4/3 by far.
I think most people prefer a bigger sensor. Including myself . And if they buy a small sensor size without understanding what they are buying, they will be let down
@@riversheppherd121 maybe, but the people need to understand that you can get a very fast lens and therefore get a good system for less money. If you have a bigger sensor and a slower lens the advantages of the sensor are negated.
@@riversheppherd121 You have words like "cheap" and "budget" un the title of your video: there is no way to justify the absence of m4/3 cameras, sorry! You can't have it both ways. And btw, M4/3 cameras are superb novadays in everything but maybe low light. You should know that...

If you're talking about "budget" you forgot something really important: the prices
True
Yeah i mean come on 😑
Must know that budget isn't always equivalent to cheap.
budget is a very flexible word though

Get the Panasonic G85. It is the same price (well here in NZ it is anyway) AND it is actually wayyyy better.
@@actstuntcam 😂
In which world ist it way better? More like way worse

Should I go with the A6400!? I want to shoot photos mainly but I also want the opportunity to make short cinematic films. Someone please let me know!
Yess been looking for a video like this for ages especially for beginners

Want a review of Fuji XT200

It’s soooooo good with the budget, man. You can also use Leica lens for this camera, Olympus lens system is also good with the budget.
which camera is good for shooting cooking videos , low budget
Learned a lot from your channel. Keep it up.

m50, imp, is the best budget mirrorless camera
I agree! Grab the m50!

What do you think of Panasonic GX850K for $300?
Brilliant! So useful and simple info. Once I have the budget will go for Canon M50
plz ,i m having a budget of 55K ,Can u suggest me a camera who is compact means good for travelling ,also best for photography .

Could you please review a nikon z50, and also a canon m50 and a6100 comparison
I really dig this channel. Great updates and info
And the Olympus OM D E M10 and M5 ?

Your courses are for beginners?
Is the Sony zv1 a mirror less camera?
No
Its probably a point and shoot camera.
Is there any view finder in Canon M200 ?
great content as always
Top 5? Am I missing something?
I thinking about the Cannon m50 camera for a Christmas gift.
Hello there.... I'm from India 🇮🇳
And sadly Sony has discontinued A6000
I See The Canon M50 In The Intro!!! GOOD CHOICE
Budget is a word that’s suitable to the buyer, not the adviser
Yo these are like 600-2000$, idk what your definition of budget is...
A6400 is far better than M50 when it comes to shooting video!
Better be, at more than double the price.
This guy looks and talks like a used cars salesman.
picking up a t7
No pricing?
Nice and great timing 👍🏽💯
Thanks Abid

Panasonic gx series is quite good..... images are extremely soft tho
Micro 4/3 is cool but i think good lenses are too expensive to be "budget". Also this video probly wasn't paid for by Olympus lol..
Mate you said it was budget this is not budget
I like that guy. 👌
i lve it , Mirrorless Camera
Hmmm. I must be reading the title wrong. I thought it said "cheap" cameras!
All above 600 would not call these budget cameras. Horrible reviews on Canon M200 overheating basically worthless but here you are praising it!
I really like the review, but. I can make a drinking game everytime you say the word "But"
Nowadays is really difficult to talk about more than one gear in a video ..
i want to buy camera someday
I’ve been looking for a camera that’s cheap but incredible to do films of 2-15 minutes. I’m in film school but I don’t know anything about cameras
Fujifilm is best ❤️
Need seal against the weather.
canon m50
60fps isn't 2x slow motion. It's normal. Anyone actually buying that camera will shoot in 60fps.
Xt-200
Sony a6100
Canon m50
Which one is the best for the next 4 years?
Dope
how to make your 500 dollar camera perform like 3000$ easy you cant you can just be a slighttly better photographer
So… so… but… but… so… but… but…so
