I did a muffler delete on my accord coupe i4. I got a custom pipe welded for a dual exit and it sounds very similar to the borla. It's a lot deeper than if it was just a single outlet.
@@MQuez sorry for the really late response. Yes they asked if I wanted a single or dual exit and I went for dual. It came out sounding really nice and not raspy or annoying at all. When I am just driving normal and let off the gas it was gurgle a lot which sounds pretty nice. I wouldn't do anymore than a muffler delete as it tends to drone and sound like ass if you want to straight pipe basically.
@@Brandon9thGen I don’t set 2 steps and anti lag based on sound, I set them up to actually be used for launch control so I could care less what it sounds like. From an actual launch control standpoint though you want about 100-200 RPM between the threshold and the overall RPM point should be selected based on available traction for your tires, suspension etc to produce the best 60’ times.

I honestly haven't messed around with anything I don't understand, low vtec is not always good, factory vtec is usually best for all scenarios unless properly tuned for it

If you're fully stopped out of gear/in neutral, or you're in park in an automatic, your car will have a set rev limiter; which most newer cars have set lower, to avoid damage. All cars if rolling and are out of gear/in neutral, will rev freely all the way to redline.

The idea behind a 2 step isn’t to sound cool it’s to keep the engine in the sweet spot of its powerband for a good launch. A good aftermarket tuner will bring VTEC on around 4000 when tuning a K24W1 Accord-Stock engagement is 4800. (IDC what your tachometer reads-in the factory ECU it commands 4800 RPM) Even basemap cookie cutter tunes will bring VTEC around 4200 from what I’ve seen, but with basic bolt ons the best seems to be around 3800-4000 WOT high load.

Ok so I was on my Ktuner and my 2 step is originally set up at, limit 4500 and restart at 3500. Yours originally was at limit 4000 and restart at 3700. Honda Gangtivities yea same. So it pops up on the options where I can put the rpms for the 2 step but when I flash my car again it doesn’t work.. idk what I’m doing wrong.
Pops and bangs means your car is running out of parameters. I will never understand this culture of making your car sound fast but not actually go fast
The pops and bangs come naturally from Honda, the car was never tuned to pop and bang, it just does it on decel. The car is modified for cornering and not speed, if it was a v6 it would be the other way around.

so your accord originally came with 1 exhaust outlet and you went to an exhaust shop to do like a Y shape custom pipe for a dual outlet right?

You want your 2 step to be like 100 RPM difference between the values. You have the values set the same for upper and lower threshold.
The lower the difference is between them, the faster it bounces

I wish they use a BMW m5 foot pedal in the accord... one of my pevs of the accord is that foot pedal its too sensitive
Just keep eco mode on, to lower the pedal input sensitivity.

You can do it in park and neutral, not sure if the manual cars are the same though

Yes, I have the same car. You need to weld it or you can buy the rv6 adapters for the full catback.
