@@bryankarwoski5233 if you’re running the J35 V6 it responds to it VERY well. I did notice some trans hang when under WOT but I data logged and sent it to my tuner and he smoothed it all out. Even got some pops and bangs added into my tune. Subtle. But it sounds so mean. I do like the V2 gauge pod and like that it feeds live diagnostics and you can switch between tunes without a computer. I love that. But I don’t jump tunes around. I have the one that makes the most conservative power for random driving I do. The V.1 will do everything this will do so if you wanna save some money go with that. I’d give it a 9/10 overall.
@@newnagasaki the Can tunes that are downloaded when you set it up (stage 1 91 octane with I/E mods) definitely pulls harder but I noticed some transmission hang up after I put that tune on. I got the Ktuner with the screen so data logging is easy. Sent that over to my tuner and had him clean up AFRs and a whole lot of other stuff and that made a massive difference overall. So at the very minimum, intake and exhaust is a must to get the most from the tuner but is not necessary- only a suggestion. I have since supercharged mine and went back to the drawing board in regards to tuning. At its present state it is pretty good. But there is more power to be made for sure. Overall with just a can tune I’d say you’ll see about 15-20hp and 10-15 ft/lbs torque. Definitely can feel a difference between stock and tuner
How much power can us economy high mile driving people get with doing the 87 tune but optimizing it. If someone could figure this out they would have the most tuning followers there is for these cars. 💯

In your opinion, what is better for tuning? Taking the car to a shop to have it tuned or buying this K-Tuner? I have a V6 Touring Accord and just had cold air intake and straight pipe installed.
The thing I like about the k tuner is I can load up a multiple tunes on it that I can change to anytime. It’s pretty handy. Going to a shop will just do a custom tune for you and what not and you’ll have to do that everytime you wanna change something. If you’re feeling adventurous and wanna do it yourself that’s what I’ll suggest.
On the ktuner there’s a section where you can bypass the oxygen sensor. Have to do this on the setting in the ktuner software while it’s plugged in your laptop

I think you can tune it to make it pop even with the stock downpipe but having that would make it louder for sure. There’s a parameter you change on the tune regarding the fuel injectors. I recommend changing the number to -10 to -20 at most. There’s other YT vids out there for it too. Hope that helps

Even if it’s not manual transmission it shouldn’t matter. Crackle tune would be nice but I didn’t notice much drop in my MPG. I did use 91 octane so it burns a bit faster. I suggest if you’re looking into doing this and all you have is a cold air intake maybe get an exhaust system that you like and downpipe to really maximize the tune. I’m not sure as to what kind of Dyno numbers it would produce tho.

I bought this and I'm kinda new to tuning. I flashed the base 91 octane tune. It flashed and everything was OK. But everytime I unplug it, I get an engine light for the wrong fuel (po158). My question is does this have to stay plugged in? Cause everytime I unplug it I get that engine light
Hey! I’m pretty sure you’d have to have it plugged in. I haven’t tried not having the tuner on there while it has the tune. If you got the ktuner v2 the display has different settings hopefully you can find one ur okay to look at. I didn’t mount mine on the windshield cos it’s bulky but I did mount it on the ac vent which made it better for me. Only thing I can think of is you can tuck it away if you have the Ktuner v1.2 since that doesn’t have a display.
I’d say once you got your desired exhaust system you can add the ktuner. Your tune will depend on your parts. Some parts are meant to be stage 2 tune like the takeda stage 2 intake. I have that one and I do recommend it
Thank you for replying, I might have forgotten to check back on the reply. Exhaust is most likely on of the final thing I’d get for my mod. Will it be ok if I do it without a new exhaust? Was gonna get a k&n air filter as part of the first few mods.

I’m actually on my third tune already and I wasn’t able to make videos on them as the difference is marginal. I do upload it on my instagram as stories or post. Currently I’m on stage two 91 octane tune. I had the crackle tune for about 1 month before changing it.

Those mods sounds great to be added for more hp. The tunes are gonna be made by you when you edit the map tune. If you want a protune a shop can do it for you which I believe is expensive. I use 91 octane gas for the tune

Haha just change the 91 Octane off the shelf tune. Just modify the fuel injectors range to a range of -10 to -25. There’s other videos out there that show you how to do that! Hope that helps

I did a muffler delete replaced with 2” pipe and a 4”tip and it sounds throaty deep and when dropping gears you get a nice burble for about 5 seconds

It’ll depend on ur own tune but I wasn’t able to dyno when I had this tune so I couldn’t tell you the difference as far as notable gains.
