Just received my ktuner v2 for my 2016 touring 4 door. Have a Takeda intake, afe throttle body spacer and borla s type axle back exhaust. Looking forward to watching more of your videos and apologize if I ask too many questions.
A few people in the past had requested that I show the options for setting up my Ktuner V2 On my 9th Generation Honda Accord V6 with a 6 Speed Automatic Transmission. In this video, I go over settings up 4 different tune variations (87 Octane 91 Octane fuel), and talk about what some of the settings do, adjusting transmission shift speeds, and show how to disable VCM, and adjust Vtec engagement points.
@Stephincyber I personally just use my gaming desktop for tuning on my Ktuner V2. You would only need a laptop if you have the Ktuner 1.2 because there is no screen for flashing the ECU on the car. With the V2, you can flash directly from it.
@Stephincyber Yes, if you have an automatic v6 Accord, you can fully disable the VCM system with the Ktuner. It also automatically removes the speed limiter of the vehicle when flashing any tune.
I believe adjusting the redline will allow you to hold gears longer using the paddle shifters in manual sport mode. But as far as VTEC, is there any reason to lower the engagement point, or will it not give any power increase? Also, do you know if K-Tuner lets you use the Eco button to have dual tunes like one can on the 10th gen Accord?
Lowering the VTEC engagement will just help the vehicle get into power a little bit faster. The only time I lower it down significantly on track days. And yes, on the 10th Generation Accord, you can assign different tunes with ECO and Sport mode.
@@LousWRX I just ordered a K-Tuner. So for everyday driving on my 9th gen V6, would you recommend I keep VTEC engagement stock, or should I lower it by like 100-200 RPM?
Any version of the ktuner will still be able to disable VCM as that is done in the software. The main difference between the V1.2 And V2 is that you can flash the vehicle with the V2, while the V1.2 requires a laptop for flashing. But both of them have the same capabilities tuning wise though.
Well, the tune adds power by taking advantage of higher octane fuel. If you run the same tune without using the right fuel, you'll run into issues. You wish to run the 87 octane tune, you can do that, but with a little less power available.
@mariojackson3808 Stage 0 is 87 octane. Stage 1 requires 91 or better. It's the first screen that comes up when the Ktuner software lets you choose the tune you wish to use. Don't run stage 1 with 87 Octane gas.

Very nice, man. I'll try my best to help you out with your questions. And no worries, I usually respond to all TH-cam comments.
What tune did you pick, I’m about to be in a similar boat for my 15 v6

Is there a specific Laptop that works best with the K Tuner V2 & its configurations.
I'm new to tuning & would appreciate the advice. Thx
Did you say it has VCM disable as well

@@JustinDaniels I'll usually just lower it down a couple hundred RPM.
Question, how do you get rid of the speed limiter for AT?
If you flash any tune, it automatically removes the speed limiter.
@@LousWRXok how ?
@x.1wi You flash any tune, and the speed limiter is automatically removed. I'm not sure why that needs to be explained again.
Hey. I have a question. Does the KTuner V1.2 delete VCM on a 2014 honda accord coupe ex-l v6 or is it only the KTuner V2 that can do it?🤔

Oh ok. Thank you man
why do you have to put bin 91 octane gas again?

Okay. Which one of your tunes are you referring too? And what issues? I’m new to the tune thing bro

Okay sweet. Thanks bro
Is there an option to improve throttle response fo the 9th gen using ktuner?
There are probably ways to do that, but I haven't learned about the parameters to adjust to do just that.
yea you need to go into the dbw final graph and adjust it from there
