Pedal, pedal, pedal! You are rolling pretty fast. Nice to see an EMTB race. Orbea warranty issues are why I went Specialized on my new bike. I heard a few riders grumbling how long it took to resolve warranty claims with Orbea.
Never had any issues with my Wild so can't comment but seen a few things written on FB about the claims going in for the alloy framed Wilds cracking and Orbea dragging their heels. This was all my fault so can't moan, should have know better 😊😕
Well done mate, I know that feeling having had to ride back up to do S1 after 2 efforts in the morning. Sort of glad I'm on a manual as Jetlag descent is horrible. Before S3 (Happy Life) was built, that ebike stage (Jetlag) was all there was after 50kms riding Skyline and I've been OTB on there and landed on rocks upside down on my back with bike on top of me. It looks even more rocky now, it used to be covered in larch.
Yeah, the S1 business was a proper pain, hopefully it wont happen again as marshals will have been informed etc🤞IStage 4 was a total pig! It was a proper Mrs Doyle - Go on, go on, GO ON! 😩 You couldnt get any flow, same for 3 really but it was a good day, roll on Rd4 😁
Nice Ride,Shame about Battery Probs,What Software Did you use to invalidate Warranty,Seems a Bit harsh if just looking a Charge status Voids Warranty I Am Sure When You Replace Your EMTB You Will Remeber How They Treated That issue. Having Worked with Engine Software Unless Your Altering the Set Firmware in it ,That is Factory Set You Are Not Damaging Anything Just Looking at info.
I used STUnlocker and it did change a few settings, whether by my unwittingly I don't know but I saw the evidence on the pc. Can't moan, they say don't mess with it so I just have to put it down to experience unfortunately 🤦🏻♂️
Yep, its good fun alright, if you've thought about it, you gota do it now. This was only my 4th ever race. Been meaning to get some done and under my belt for a while now and glad I've signed up for the series 👍 Tough going though

@@freeridemediauk316 There was a dad and his 12yr old daughter doing it on hardtails, I was their buffer when I did stage 1 for the 3rd time 👍
stage 4 is open to all bikes this year going to a pain when the ebikers can fly up the small climbs faster than analogue bikes
