I'm so happy Mike's inclusion in this show wasn't spoiled for Max. I've seen so many Breaking Bad reactors get it spoiled because people just blatantly write comments like "you'll see more of Mike in BCS". Of course, it's not a major deal since it's the very first episode and he was part of promotional material but it's just so unnecessary to spoil it like that. I also went in to this show having no idea so the moment we hear his voice was amazing.

This is gonna be fun. It feels like Vince Gilligan's passion project, and without the success of Breaking Bad, he and Peter Gould probably wouldn't have been able to do many of the "artful" directions in this show. It's a real treat.

This is Peter Gould's passion project through and through. Gilligan's passion project after Breaking Bad was El Camino.

I didn't notice the little things in this show like Gale's address. I appreciate you pointing things like that out. Everything in the Breaking Bad universe is connected like "two nuts in a ballsack, yo."

I just finished BCS last week! I’m blown away how amazing it’s been!!! The last season is by far my favorite but it does seem like season 1 was ages ago!
I’d never noticed Kim picking the bin up right at the start, a really nice way of clueing you into their relationship dynamics early, with her cleaning up his messes

I've been waiting for you guys to start this series! Personally I think Better Call Saul is better than Breaking Bad (though I still love Breaking Bad).
Yay, a bright spot in an otherwise crappy day! I'll admit, it took me a couple of tries to get into this one, but I'm glad I stuck with it. It really is a great show.
Glad you guys are reacting to this! In terms of quality and suspense I believe Better call saul is on the same level as Breaking bad. The first season might be a little slow compared to what's to come, but it's gonna be a hell of a ride!
Yes sir, we're finally getting into it! I've been loving the Better Call Saul series and I think you will too! Just as a heads-up, this has a much different artistic vision than Breaking Bad so it's not going to be exactly the same. A lot of other people expected explosions, bullets, and poison to come from nowhere only for it not to happen. It's calmer but still definitely very fun.
I’m from Nebraska and hearing the subtle nebraska things in the show made it so much better for me 😅

The actress who plays Betsy Kettleman is in season 2 of Fargo along with Jesse Plemons aka Todd. Maybe that’s where you’ve seen her.
She was also in Preacher, but I doubt they’ve seen that. I think only 5 people watched that show. 3 of which were me watching reruns

Just seeing where Saul is after Breaking Bad at the beginning of the series is a great way to start things off before going back to when he was just Jimmy McGill, attorney at law who’s trying his best to be as great of a lawyer as he can at this moment in time while also being Slippin’ Jimmy. And seeing Mike is always great, particularly to see where he was before Breaking Bad as well as seeing Tuco in the end while being introduced to series regulars Kim, Howard and Chuck. This is such an amazing show, defiantly makes a great impression off the bat in my mind. It may be a slow start, but it is worth the slow burn. Great reactions guys, have a great day and take care!

I was never a fan of Jimmy McGill/Slipping Jimmy. To me he's a con man scamming clients/people for his own personal benefit. That just bugged me. Saul, on the other hand, was a shady "criminal" lawyer. He never hid that from his clients. In fact, that is why they hired him. I wouldn't describe either version as a good person but at least with Saul people knew who he was.
Mike gets a boost in BCS
Enjoy this ride. This to my opinion is as good as Breaking Bad if not better
These episodes are so.... nostalgic? for me, as I did pretty much what Jimmy is doing here when I first got out of law school. I even had a shitty office in a Vietnamese strip mall. I took court appointments at jail call and in family court, just like Jimmy is, and had to argue to get paid the full amount. It's all very familiar. lol
