I thought about a chapter known as the Death Marines known for bloody and brutal and merciless combat and trained to kill any way possible and with all weapons and don't get along well with any other space marine chapters but if needed they'd gladly take on any chaos forces claded in black power armor with skulls engraved on their chest plates and faceplates and will charge into combat while blaring heavy black death metal out loud while weilding heavy destructive weapons

There actually is a way to kill fire with a meltagun. And it's actually called counter fire. What you do is purposefully set a controled fire in front of the incoming fire in order to deprive the incoming fire of fuel. Of course this is an indirect way to kill fire using a meltagun and therefore not suited to the angry marines^^
