    Hey Nick, I was just having a look at some BA economy seats and clicked on this and started scimming through and suddenly realised we went to school together 😄 Hope you're doing well! and thanks for the video!

    I've flown both business and economy (mostly) with BA. I just don't see the value in premium economy, but this video even makes me think twice about booking business to Antigua in December. A few hundred quid and making sure you're snappy and book good seats just seems far better value. The only thing is sleeping, but like you, we never sleep on flights.

    That was one of the best reviews I've ever watched: informative and interesting. We've booked a 777-200 on BA next year so now feel better informed. We will be in the first of the 2 seaters at the back so that we will not have to climb over a third person and we will be closer to the bathroom & the extra drinks and snacks! THANKS!

      We had one of the rear sets of 2 on a BA 777-300ER last year, so pretty much he same as the -200ER, they’re fantastic, plenty of space on either side and just generally loads of room, and perfect if there’s only two of you. Worth paying for!

    • @travelswithbieber
      @travelswithbieber  ปีที่แล้ว

      Wow, thank you so much Grant! 😁 What a lovely comment. That's honestly made my day! I'm so glad you enjoyed the review. Great to hear that you've booked the 777-200 for this year - you'll no doubt have a wonderful time. My parents tried out the two seats on a recent flight and really enjoyed them for the same reason - not having a seat neighbour to climb over. So it's certainly a great choice! If it is a night flight, make sure you have some headphones or ear plugs with you, so you can block out the sound of people going to the bathroom 😊 Thank you again, Grant!

      Hi Scott, great to hear you enjoyed the two seaters on the -300ER! My parents recently flew in those seats and loved them! We will definitely give those seats a go the next time we fly BA economy on this aircraft - having no seat neighbour is basically business class! Haha

    Great video and glad you had a fantastic flight on this aircraft with BA. I'm doing a similar return journey from Las Vegas to Gatwick on this type of aircraft and booked 20C as it was no fee for me. Looks like the legroom is fantastic. I've been flying premium the last few trips so this is encouraging. Thanks for sharing.

I hope you have a wonderful time in Kenya and enjoy your flight with BA. I've no doubt you will love it. BA have just announced the return of the London/Bangkok route, we normally fly Eva or Thai airways, but I have a load of Avios points to use. The flights were £704 economy each, but we had to pay extra for seat choice, so roughly the same amount as We would normally be paying with Thai, we got them for £202.00 each using our avios points, but then had to pay £144.00 for good seat choice. Hoping its going to be a good experience , as we have enough avios points to do this again.

    Have just booked with British Airways to go to Punta Cana. Is there only one toilet for economy? Im sure the seat map was showing one behind the curtain? Were you far enough away that the smell was not over whelming. On long flights, they usually get unbearable .
    For some reason, the seat guru map is showing economy starts at 26? All the people on their saying which seats are better are from years ok.
    Could you book as soon as you booked your seat? Ours says 24hrs before?
    Did they ask you if you were physically able to open the door as its by an exit?
    Sorry for all the questions, looking for a seat with legroom as my grandsons had a major operation on his leg.

    As a gate team member at BA, it is very disappointing to see they denied you boarding and made you buy a mask, for nothing. At Heathrow we don't make you buy one, we encourage it (ONLY IF the destination requires face masks) as the crew don't have enough masks to give to everyone but would never send you away from the gate. Sorry you spent so much money on a piece of fabric, to then not even be required to wear it.. I would try to claim it back through ba if I were you, especially as a silver member.

      Thank you for your comment 😊 It sure was disappointing to be forced to buy a mask to board the flight only to find they weren't needed. Thankfully we are way past that now, so hopefully that won't happen again 🤞🏻 No need to be sorry, it wasn't your fault! 😊 Thank you so much for sharing my frustration though - if only you were the gate agent that day! I'm off to Vegas next month, actually 😁 As for the seats, I felt they were comfy, although they are not the biggest seat, especially at exit rows as the tray tables are built into the arm rests which reduce the width of the seat... • @travelswithbieber
      @travelswithbieber  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hello Maria, thank you for your comment 😊 It really depends on what you all like - window seats, being served food early, not wanting to be disturbed (so avoiding being near the toilets) etc. Usually the best seats are the bulkhead rows - so the first row of economy or the exit seats further down, as they give you the best legroom. The downsides are the exit row seats are next to the toilet so you may get disturbed. The configuration is 3-4-3... so you can have three next to the window and two across from you in the middle... or three at the window and the other two behind you also at the window? It all depends on your preferences to be honest. I hope that is some help? 😊 I hope you all have a fantastic time in Punta Cana - we absolutely loved it when we went! 😁
