I preordered the gold edition. I don't pre-order games. In most cases that's a very bad habit, but I know that KCD 2 like KCD will be my new game of the year for the next 10 years.
Immersion is honestly my favourite things about games. Red Dead Redemption 2 is definitely one of my favourite games, so hearing that they're striving for an "experience" makes me incredibly excited.
They need to expand on the living world immersion to give it infinite replay ability almost like Skyrim how you can drop the main story and live in the world. Problem with KCD 1 was outside of the story there wasn’t much to do other than steal shit or hunt. It’d be cool if you could use money to buy cottages/lofts in and outside of kingdoms, open businesses (like a leather working business where you gather the materials from hunting) and sell product, maybe takeover a castle and become king of it (when stories complete), wage wars against other castles (diplomacy), recruit small bands of army. Developers could really go crazy and make it the best RPG ever made - better than mount and blade etc etc
@@John-996 I know but when you complete those side quest, they’re done. I think it’d be cool if after you complete the side quests it opens up options to where you can work with them and eventually own the shop. Let’s say you complete a side quest for a blacksmith you then can work in the shop and earn a wage (maybe delivering to vassals/kings or fun activities) or if you complete a side quest for a bartender, you then can work and earn a wage by picking hops or whatever else. The game game has a living breathing world, if they just add things to purchase in the towns other than food/weapons, game would be infinite replay value. They would have to make the thief system way more punishing though to counter act it since it’s the best way to make money in the game currently (and get free items obviously). Like maybe they’ll kick you out of towns for a set number of days and have guards set to attack you on sight if you try to return before the set day. And maybe working and moving your way up in the castle court is the highest earning potential (along with chance to become next king of castle) with a reputation system with the current king so if you get caught stealing in his castle it’d heavily impact that reputation as well. And they could make it to where AI story rulers can’t die but they can be overtaken and then have X amount of time before they build a rebellion big enough to come back and try to retake and siege the castle - while maybe hiding out in hidden encampments that you can stumble across while adventuring with your army and fight them in their encampments increasing the rebuild time for that ruler… Im thinking for the developers right now but they could easily make the game incredible and revolutionary. They could take some inspiration from mount and blade but completely overhaul it in a first person story driven world. I thought that shit up in 5 minutes, they could hire a team to think it up for a year or two while in KCD3 development

You could've let the bit about your wife go on for longer I would've believed it, you absolute chad. Nice coverage for KCD 2 you covered a lot of my basic questions. I always cross my fingers for sequels to games that have captured my heart. I remember that for the original that they had some seriously grand plans which they had to limit the game to do to their size and knowledge at the time., which I'm personally grateful to Warhorse studios for doing. Now they can expand their universe further with more polish and using the skills& knowledge that they accrued from the first game. This is how games should be done imo. Slow, crafted pieces of art to be enjoyed when they're here and to be recalled for the memorable moments the player creates with them.
I haven't even played the 1st one. But I'm buying a Xbox Series X for Christmas so I'll play the 1st one then, and that will lead nicely to the 2nd one in February 👍😁
Hey Pixelated, been watching your vids for years now. Would love if you put some light background music to enhance your vids! But otherwise can't wait for KC2!
I love the realism of the game, but I hope since Henry is already “trained” that combat is easier. I don’t have hours and hours to pour into a second game to get the combat. Not to mention it would be more approachable for new players.
I mean, I don't remember putting endless hours into the first game because of combat... I just played the story and side quests. I actually learned about the master strike only after hours of gameplay because I struggled in the tournament without it... True, I was playing most melee combat as if it was a Witcher game, poisoning my sword and drugging Henry with potions before the fight, and I had to do a bit of a horse archery from time to time, but the game was very much playable even without any additional training, or even level grinding on the training grounds. Well, except for that tournament, which is kinda about "mastering" the combat mechanics (i.e. all you need is the damn master strike). But then again, how long does it take to learn the move, five minutes of training?
I was on a mission when KDC 1 came out. i was not able to play it in its "hayday". i just picked it up when it was $2 on steam.... what a good game. playing for the first time this late in the games life and its become my favorite rpg
My only hold up for not instantly buying, pre-ordering, is the combat, so it would have been great to learn more about what's different. I'm in the boat with others who say it quickly becomes backpeddling and master striking only, everything else is impossible or weaker/pointless, so it would be great to see how specifically combos and master strikes were changed.
The fact that this game is getting a sequel warms my heart. I put 500 hours into the first game on PS4 and 250 hours on my PS5 and I can't wait to put 1000 hours into the sequel. Pray for Deliverance
I wish they would add more companions into the game. Really make you feel like a knight or lord who can give commands that change the game. Make it so as you receive more renown and fame. You gain more control over the kingdom's and land. Would be very cool to see you create a law that effected towns or have enemies try to attack towns where you must order guards to defend or tell them to attack hunt enemies down which you could partake in.
There's 2 games for me that are must play. This and Dune Awakenings. I really enjoyed Kingdom Come Deliverance and will pre-order KCD2. It's awesome you got to see the land where this game is based
I’m really excited about this game. These guys aren’t aiming to just make a game. They are making a work of art. KCD 1 was a work of art with little budget. I can’t wait to see what these guys do with a better budget.
I am surprised people didn't like the combat in KCD1. I thought it was hard at first but much more interesting than most games. This looks awesome! I'm so excited!
Yeah its not that the combat isnt fun, its just that sometimes when fighting groups of enemys you just cant do anything. Like once i fast travelled, got attacked by like 7 cumans in full armor, tried to run away with my horse but it just trew me off and while henry took 10 years to stand up again i was already dead
A feature that would make KCD2 my actual GOAT would be additional replayability in the form of recurring siege defense or varied yet repeatable missions. The first one was great, but a lot of things like the Ashes DLC felt pretty useless. You become a bailiff and can have a guardhouse, right next to an active Bandit/Cuman zone, just to have 0 raids occur on your settlement. What it does well was storytelling, combat, immersion, and anything RPG. Didn’t think it would be but it’s a top 5 for me and actually outperforms any Bethesda game I’ve played.
i am actually glad its coming out next year so that I can buy the deluxe edition of this. First games deluxe edition was so damn good, specially the DLC called "A Woman's Lot"
They are the perfect game developers. I'm in my late 30s and almost excited about a video game. If it wasn't for Warhorse Studio I wouldn't even care about video games nowadays.
I really hope this will be as good as it seems and become an incredible success for warhorse. In a time when producers of all Kinds (looking at you Star Wars) dont care anymore, this would Show that genuine fanservice works. In this is the case kcd2 could become one of the Most beloved games ever
Yeah, don't rush, as with KCD1 is meant to feel like living in that time as accurately as possible. I would like to see where Warhorse can go with the appropriate history geeks of other time periods and locations...... this is awesome. Lets make history fun to learn and understand and experience to the best possible extent. Kids might learn much needed sense of past and see how compares with present. We haven't changed much, just different tech.
I liked the reference to Witcher 3 and that the story is more complex. KCD2 looks great, imagine what KCD3 will be. An epic game in a more realistic medieval setting.
Things I hope to see: 1. More interactions townsfolk npc’s 2. More variety in random road encounters 3. Toggle auto walk with 1 key 4. Gangs, companies, or guilds that you can join and do side quests 5. Local inn activities to gamble such as drinking or eating competitions, brawl/duels, darts/throwing knives, etc
wont be many guilds and stuff, its based on realism and not some skyrim BS. But maybe there are some that woudve been realistic at that time, we will see!
@@Forest762 ya I meant like gangs or companies of knights that need to complete some sort of mission kind of like band of bastards dlc. Idk why you are thinking about Skyrim

Excellent, and thanks for the interview. The respect Warhorse have shown the period comes through and is very appealing. Henry says, "God Bless" as an authentic and accurate greeting for that time and Warhorse have not shied away from that - just outstanding and in great contrast to Baldur's Gate III where 'progressive' worldview is rammed through through in forced character interactions (*everyone* is hitting on you, women, men, mindflayer) which detracts from even a fantasy setting. KCD II's historical accuracy will be a welcome relief from the preachy post-modernism invading everything else.

It's funny I did believe him for a second. I was like, why would they invite a model to this?
looks incredible and the jump of quality of the combat is notorious
I haven't even played the 1st one. But I'm buying a Xbox Series X for Christmas so I'll play the 1st one then, and that will lead nicely to the 2nd one in February 👍😁
Great preview and interview, thanks. KCD2 will be another slavic masterpiece.
Hey Pixelated, been watching your vids for years now. Would love if you put some light background music to enhance your vids! But otherwise can't wait for KC2!
One of my favorite games. They know how to make a truly amazing game. Everything they have done so far has been amazing! Can't wait.
I love the realism of the game, but I hope since Henry is already “trained” that combat is easier. I don’t have hours and hours to pour into a second game to get the combat. Not to mention it would be more approachable for new players.
It is easier to pick up
I mean, I don't remember putting endless hours into the first game because of combat...
Devs said combat is simplified but deeper. Dont know what that means but my guess is less user input but more combos?
I don't understand people saying the combat was hard in the last game. It wasn't hard, it was just boring.
@@0xAnomalyI think it will be easy to play but hard to master. If that makes sense
It has been along time since i have been this excited about a game can not wait for this game.
I just used Headcracker on Ulrich 😂 in the duel beside the pond in sasau.... Excited for KCD 2
I FEEEeeEeL QUIte HUNGRY!!
I love this game man thank god a new one coming out beginning of next year I wish I could play it early
Already preordered.
The footage of the city and the forest already makes me feel smaller compared to KCD1. I like that!
i'm so excited for this game to come out, just hope my computer will survive it since the performance issues the first game had ToT
First one of you don’t give up on it right away is so entertaining and fun to play
I just replayed the game not 2 months and and HOLY SH!T the new one looks incredible
Hello! I'm from Prague, Czech republic! 😄
nice, will play it for sure
I am surprised people didn't like the combat in KCD1. I thought it was hard at first but much more interesting than most games. This looks awesome! I'm so excited!
People don’t want an challenged
Can't wait for this game the first game was brilliant KCD 2 looks 🔥
i am actually glad its coming out next year so that I can buy the deluxe edition of this. First games deluxe edition was so damn good, specially the DLC called "A Woman's Lot"
That was the game of the year version
Apollo, can you confirm if there is any rendering issue ? Like those floating heads in Rattay ?
I'm so fucking pumped for this. One was so good it's really in a class of its own.
can't wait to play this oh boy!!!
0:17 Damn it! The graphic is unreal! 😲
A true unity of visual fidelity and life-like animation!
Props to the czech devs...
Great approach, idea and result so far
Yeah, don't rush, as with KCD1 is meant to feel like living in that time as accurately as possible. I would like to see where Warhorse can go with the appropriate history geeks of other time periods and locations...... this is awesome. Lets make history fun to learn and understand and experience to the best possible extent. Kids might learn much needed sense of past and see how compares with present. We haven't changed much, just different tech.
They should really release the game with full VR support because it looks absolutely tailor made for VR
good to see my boy Hans
can't wait to explore the world again
I cant wait to play it :)
I liked the reference to Witcher 3 and that the story is more complex. KCD2 looks great, imagine what KCD3 will be. An epic game in a more realistic medieval setting.
That forest is unbelievable, its very realistic.
Overall looks great. I'm very disappointed that they are eliminating angles of attack though
Things I hope to see:
1. More interactions townsfolk npc’s
2. More variety in random road encounters
3. Toggle auto walk with 1 key
4. Gangs, companies, or guilds that you can join and do side quests
@@jaredlacour5854 Yeah i thought you meant like a thiefs guild or stuff like that. Sorry for bothering
@@Forest762 no worries I was rude about my response, by guilds I meant things like merchant/trading guilds or blacksmithing guilds those sorts of things existed in the past but idk if they were commonplace in the 1400's.
@@jaredlacour5854 Yeah with maybe perks that come allong. I also saw that there is a smithing minigame, and by joining the guild you get higher chance of making good weapons maybe
Did they improve the fact that master strikes were so dominant? Has it been fixed?
KCD is a must play imo, such a good game
Great game design, and true passion with some financial success - such a rare combination now days, can't wait to wake up on February 11,god bless warhorse⚔️🐴
Always waiting for your approval
