From my opinion, the biggest reason that Dr. Tour doesn't have the apologetics numbers of others has more to do with the needs some people have versus the gifts of others. In Buddhism there is a thing called, The Curse of Intellect. It states, in my words, that analytical people will struggle with enlightenment due to their analysis of both the questions and the answers. This falls directly in line what what the Bible says about God's gifts to his followers. In several books of the New Testament we read the Holy Spirit endows us with gifts like faith, healing, prophecy, proclamation, teaching, and others. My mother for instance has the gift of Faith. All the questions I asked her when I was growing up didn't phase her. Nothing about the contradictions I thought I found, or the moral problems, or the impossibility of it all mattered to her in the least. She would shrug her shoulders and just say, "I just know it is true." It shook me from my faith as I learned more. I had to keep learning to eventually come back to Christ. It was a fight to discover the truth, and I wanted the truth so badly. I think there are loads of people like me, who struggle with knowledge, and the questions and answers we wrap around ourselves while trying to understand the universe around us in a logical, consistent way. My mother, my wife, and others I know wouldn't watch 5 minutes of Dr. Tour, but will listen to many hours of apologists who have more love and social centered teaching. None of that moves me, and I won't watch 5 minutes of it. Once I discovered polystrate fossils, I went down the rabbit hole of God's truth and needed more and more. Dr. Tour is near the pinnacle of the search for scientific truth which matches reality versus the guesses we get from so many other "uniformitarian" scientists. This information is not low hanging fruit. I had a couple years where I inhaled deeply in everything Dr. Hovind has put out. Then came Behe, Meyer, Zacharias, Craig, Turek, Lennox, Habermas, with many side roads along the way, like Dr. David Berlinski, an agnostic who suplexes evolution off the top turnbuckle in the funniest and most logical ways. I think Dr. Tour gets fewer views than his testimony deserves because so few of us as striving for this kind of knowledge. This is the tip of the spear kind of info and not everyone wants to go here and be rapt by this information. I wish I had my mom's gift of Faith, but God gave me this gift and I fill it up by consuming the works of those men and more, so that I may pour it out when given the chance.

@@alanmcnaughton3628 'the evo funnel (wtf?) catches the indoctrinated and fights hard to keep them'
Um.. that's religion, remember? Remember how certain religions make it a point to 'get them when they're young', then fights hard to keep them?
Yeah, you have described religion, not science. Science doesn't work that way.
Biological evolution is not forced on anyone. It's taught in public schools in the exact same way other areas of science are taught. You have problems with it, because it conflicts with some of your personal beliefs, so I can understand why you would think the way you do.
There are no churches of evolution, there are no preachers or priests of evolution, and if you have problems with evolutionary theory, or any other area of science, then get yourself a relevant education and get to work. Science is not about 'proving' things, science is about falsifying, and since biological evolution is definitely falsifiable, well, there you go :-) get your data and evidence together and start falsifying.

It amazed me how ALL the UNASSUMED OBSERVATIONAL EVIDENCE...the REAL EVIDENCE.. matches EVERYTHING Christianity teaches. Only FAITH-FILLED STATEMENTS made ABOUT the evidence is given as "evidence" by silly atheists. Two Chromosomes CAN'T ACCIDENTALLY COMBINE as the ridiculous BELIEVERS in evolution try to sucker us into BELIEVING. CAN'T HAPPEN...and yet it is taught and assumed as "fact". That is the scientific equivalent to telling everyone that Thor causes lightning and thunder by his hammer! Ther is ZERO EVIDENCE of this insane statement...and ZERO EVIDENCEthat Chromosomes can combine to form a new species...yet the naturalists BELIEVE in an assumption with even LESS EVIDENCE!! How Silly to ASSUME despite the EVIDENCE TO THE OPPOSITE.
Similarly, DNA CODE CAN'T SELF-CREATE and SELF-ASSEMBLE into cells as Dr. TOUR EXPOSES in his science. Poor naturalists actually BELIEVE in IMPOSSIBILITIES rather than dare to allow their emotional neediness for a Godless universe to be challenged by OBSERVATIONAL REALITY! Atheists WILLFULLY IGNORE facts that offend their emotional need to be non-created. It's so obvious once you stop ACCEPTING what BIASED SCIENTISTS say by FAITH ALONE...and grow a skeptical attitude!
"I have never seen the Bible conflict with a scientific fact" either. Never! These silly liars keep saying "FACT" when it is their BIASED ASSUMPTION!!!
NOTHING in science discredits anything in the Bible. Atheist Scientists merely want you to enjoin their delusions that there "must be". The MORE I learn of scientific evidence, the more I realize the Bible is true!

The best argument for some of the conventional science paradigm within a Christian paradigm, is that Genesis is plausibly ambiguous about the universe as a WHOLE. We could have both an Old universe and a young earth. It’s also possible that the earth is in a middle age, depending on how you interpret “YM”, neither VERY old nor very young (millions but not billions). I leant that way for a long time, but my growing trust in the Desert Fathers has made me more open to younger, although I still think it’s at least 100,000s of years.

Something very interesting I noticed between the story of Moses with the Pharoah’s magicians and the statement where scientists say they can re-create life.
The magicians challenged Moses to perform a miracle, so they performed tricks and black magic and spells (we don’t really know it’s just trickery from what I understand) to make little fake snakes and the crowd was astonished. Moses didn’t know what to do ,When God told Moses (Prophet Moussa pbuh) to hit his staff on the ground and it turned into a giant serpent and gobbled up the rest of the “snakes”. The magicians immediately confessed that they believe Moses’ God.
I interpret this as there’s no substitute for God’s creation. God made the miracle to create that serpent from Moses’ staff, but the magicians used deceit and tricked to construe our eyes and minds. That serpent is akin to biology or cells. You can have the best scientists in the world try as hard as they can to get close to the chemical reactions and information and complexity of the cell and they wouldn’t come close. It’s all a bluff. They can only trick you into thinking they’ve solved abiogenesis (if it did happen) but there’s no substitute for the real cell. And to think that it’s the simplest of life that can possibly occur is astonishing.
We must praise God for beautiful creation that we’re still just beginning to understand. We can only marvel

Modern Quantum Physics has shown that reality is based on probability:

A statistical impossibility is defined as “a probability that is so low as to not be worthy of mentioning. Sometimes it is quoted as 1/10^50 although the cutoff is inherently arbitrary. Although not truly impossible the probability is low enough so as to not bear mention in a Rational, Reasonable argument." The probability of finding one particular atom out of all of the atoms in the universe has been estimated to be 1/10^80. The probability of just one (1) functional 150 amino acid protein chain forming by chance is 1/10^164. It has been calculated that the probability of DNA forming by chance is 1/10^119,000. The probability of random chance protein-protein linkages in a cell is 1/10^79,000,000,000. Based on just these three cellular components, it would be far more Rational and Reasonable to conclude that the cell was not formed by un-directed random natural processes. Note: Abiogenesis Hypothesis posits that un-directed random natural processes, i.e. random chance formation, of molecules led to living organisms. Natural selection has no effect on individual atoms and molecules on the micro scale in a prebiotic environment. (*For reference, peptides/proteins can vary in size from 3 amino acid chains to 34,000 amino acid chains. Some scientists consider 300-400 amino acid protein chains to be the average size. There are 42,000,000 protein molecules in just one (1) simple cell, each protein requiring precise assembly. There are approx. 30,000,000,000,000 cells in the human body.)
Of all the physical laws and constants, just the Cosmological Constant alone is tuned to a level of 1/10^120; not to mention the fine-tuning of the Mass-Energy distribution of early universe which is 1/10^10^123. Therefore, in the fine-tuning argument, it would be more Rational and Reasonable to conclude that the multi-verse is not the correct answer. On the other hand, it has been scientifically proven numerous times that Consciousness does indeed collapse the wave function to cause information waves of probability/potentiality to become particle/matter with 1/1 probability. A rational and reasonable person could therefore conclude that the answer is consciousness.
A "Miracle" is considered to be an event with a probability of occurrence of 1/10^6. Abiogenesis, RNA World Hypothesis, and Multiverse would all far, far, far exceed any "Miracle". Yet, these extremely irrational and unreasonable hypotheses are what some of the world’s top scientists ‘must’ believe in because of a prior commitment to a strictly arbitrary, subjective, biased, narrow, limiting, materialistic ideology / worldview.

Every idea, number, concept, thought, theory, mathematical equation, abstraction, qualia, etc. existing within and expressed by anyone is "Immaterial" or "Non-material". The very idea or concept of "Materialism" is an immaterial entity and by it's own definition does not exist. Modern science seems to be stuck in archaic, subjective, biased, incomplete ideologies that have inadequately attempted to define the "nature of reality" or the "reality of nature" for millennia. A Paradigm Shift in ‘Science’ is needed for humanity to advance. A major part of this Science Paradigm Shift would be the formal acknowledgment by the scientific community of the existence of "Immaterial" or "Non-material" entities as verified and confirmed by observation of the universe and discoveries in Quantum Physics.)

*_“All matter originates and exists only by virtue of a force which brings the particle of an atom to vibration and holds this most minute solar system of the atom together. We must assume behind this force the existence of a conscious and intelligent mind (i.e. Observer). This mind is the matrix of all matter.”_* Max Plank (the Father of Quantum Physics) ...
Information doesn't create the cosmos. Information waves are the fabric of the cosmos. And, as demonstrated with the famous double slit experiment, a conscious observer converts those information waves of potentiality / probability into "particle", "matter", or "cosmos". The Prime Observer creates the Cosmos.
*Matter cannot exist without physical laws and constants first existing. Physical laws and constants cannot exist without mind / consciousness / intelligence first existing. Mind / consciousness / intelligence is Prime. Consciousness / Intelligence Exists Before Matter. Mind Over Matter.*
*_"An especially unusual version of the observer effect occurs in quantum mechanics, as best demonstrated by the double-slit experiment. Physicists have found that even passive observation of quantum phenomena (by changing the test apparatus and passively "ruling out" all but one possibility) can actually change the measured result. Despite the "observer" in this experiment being an electronic detector-possibly due to the assumption that the word "observer" implies a person-its results have led to the popular belief that a conscious mind can directly affect reality.[3] The need for the "observer" to be conscious is not supported by scientific research, and has been pointed out as a misconception rooted in a poor understanding of the quantum wave function ψ and the quantum measurement process, apparently being the generation of information at its most basic level that produces the effect."_* (Wikipedia: Observer Effect)
*An electronic detector is a tool created by and for a conscious observer. Without a conscious observer, the electronic detector, its parameter settings, and its measurements do not exist. The electronic detector becomes an extension of the conscious observer. In the same way, a telescope and microscope are merely extensions of the conscious observer. However, it is the the Conscious Observer that is fundamental.*
Laws of the Universe exist Independent of anyone's personal beliefs in the existence of the Laws of the Universe. Just as man-made laws govern society globally, Universal Laws govern the entire Universe. Un-directed random material natural processes have never been observed or experimentally demonstrated to be capable of producing any form of laws. As scientifically confirmed, non-material laws are the product of only Mind / Consciousness / Intelligence.

Dr Tour, have you considered the concept and method in the Bible known as "Repeat and Enlarge"? I think you will understand Genesis 1 and 2 if you look closer. This method is used throughout the Bible.
"We cannot critique ancient, eastern texts using principles of literary analysis based upon modern, western literature. Instead, the approach in ancient Hebrew literature is to take up a topic and develop it from a particular perspective and then to stop and take up the same theme again from another point of view. This pattern is kaleidoscopic and recursive. The first creation story (1:1-2:3) gives a global perspective. The second creation story (2:4-3:24) begins by focusing on the creation of man. Thus the first focuses on the origin of the universe, the second on humanity. Therefore, 2:4-3:24 is, in fact, devoted to further development of the topics broached in the sixth paragraph of the ‘first account’ and so adds to the significance of the creation of mankind."

Vision of the dead earth and Universe before the Resurrection of the Dead and Our Lord's dictation given to Maria Valtorta on 1/29/1944 (from Notebooks 1944, pp.118-119, 122-123): An immense expanse of land. As boundless as a sea. I say "land" because there is earth, as on fields and roads. But there is not one tree, stem, or blade of grass. Dust, dust, and more dust. I see this in a light which is not light. A barely outlined, leaden brightness of a green-violet hue as is seen at the time of a very heavy thunderstorm or a total eclipse. A light, prompting fear, of burnt-out stars. That's it. The sky is devoid of stars. There are no stars, no moon, no sun. The sky is empty, as the earth is empty. The former is stripped of its flowers of light; the latter, of its plant and animal life. They are two vast remains of what was. I think this desolate vision of the death of the universe is the same as at the first moment (Genesis 1:1-2), when heaven and earth already existed, but the former was devoid of stars and the latter deprived of life --a solidified globe, but still uninhabited, flying through space, waiting for the Creator's finger to give it grass and animals.

Jesus, Our Lord, says: "When time is over and life is to be exclusively Life in the Heavens, the universe will again become as it was at the beginning (of creation), before being dissolved completely. This will take place when I have judged (Last Judgement). That is why you saw the earth devoid of grass and trees, animals, men, and life, and the oceans devoid of sails, an expanse of still waters, for movement will no longer be necessary for them to give life to the fish of the waters, as warmth will no longer be necessary for the earth to give life to crops and beings. That is why you saw the firmament empty of stars, with no more fires, no more lights. Light and heat will no longer be necessary for the earth, now an enormous cadaver bearing in itself the dead bodies of all the living from Adam until the last son of Adam."
From Our Lord's dictation, we understand that the stars and galaxies were created for men living on the earth and that the earth is not just a small planet among billions of billions stars and planets but was created to provide a good living environment for men as well as plants and animals and all living things. After the Last Judgement, all the Redeemed, with their glorified bodies, will enter the Heavenly Kingdom to be with God. Then, the physical worlds and time we know will be no more and only two Kingdoms, Heaven and Hell, will remain for eternity. From this, it can be inferred that God's purpose, in creating 'Heaven and earth and all things visible and invisible' and man in His Image and Likeness in the beginning of the time, was to establish His Family in Heaven. How greatly we should praise and thank and love God for His Infinite Love!!! Blessed be God forever, Blessed be God forever, Blessed be God forever!!!

Dr Tour, just discovered your channel here. Science of today most definitely is 180 degrees from the scripture in nearly every aspect. I love the work that you're doing here and have the upmost respect to anyone who goes against main stream narrative...especially someone of your credentials. I was wondering tho, what are your thoughts on biblical cosmology? Have you ever spoke to anyone (expert) on the subject? Scriptures do not depict a spinning ball earth in an infinite vacuum...its the polar opposite! It says in multiple versus that the earth is fixed, established, stationary, built on pillars, has 4 corners, etc... I guess my question to you is, do you trust what the Bible actually says about the cosmology of our realm, or do you take a different stance? Or, would you be open to discussion with subject experts? I truly do believe this would take your studies to the next level if you kept an open mind. Most Christians truly dont believe their Bible...and this subject is proof of it imo.

    • @lexpox329
      @lexpox329 ปีที่แล้ว

"the earth is fixed, established, stationary, built on pillars, has 4 corners, etc..." There is a lot of potential meanings of those words and the most likely is that it coveys something about the earth and our relationship to God but not about the physical planet on which we live. It is easy to verify the earth is a sphere using math and observations from space, also airplanes fly over the entire globe and back to where they started. So if the earth doesn't have 4 literal corners and it is meant to convey something different, those other statements might also tell us different that first assumed. if you want to get technical the earth can be fixed in the sense that nothing will move it from the place God put it (in orbit around our star). established can mean a lot of things. Stationary certainly doesn't mean the earth never moves because we have earthquakes, but it mostly doesn't seem to move relative to us. Built on pillars might refer to the laws of physics that hold this planet in its place in the universe, they aren't physical pillars but the effects are the same. Its possible the bible is correct in everything it says and we don't understand what it really says. The bible leaves very little ambiguous when it comes to things that really matter such as our relationship to God and how to be reconciled to him. But after that it becomes less clear on topics and simply never brings up some things. I trust God will reveal to us when we are with him how it all worked, but in the mean time we are all probably wrong on something and it doesn't really matter because we know that only thing we really need to know.

@@lexpox329 you have a lot to learn... I used to believe everything you just said here. Then i went out and tested these things. The Bible is right....the earth is NOT a spinning ball in an ever expanding universe....its a level horizontal plane...a closed system. Before you dismiss this and try to argue for the heliocentric model of the earth, you might want to look into True Biblical cosmology. I can give you over 200 scriptures to back up a geocentric stationary level plane. The bible is a flat earth book from cover to cover...and the earth is flat...and i can bring forth the scientific evidence for that if anyone here wants to actually learn something. Remember, condemnation before investigation is the height of all ignorance...go research flat earth (True earth) before you try to argue with me...because i promise i know more about the heliocentric model (sun centered spinning ball earth) than 99.99% do...as Ive been studying it religiously for the past 5.5 years

I asked GPT to give an unbiased view of this video from the transcript:
The statement by James Tour presents a detailed and critical perspective on the challenges of explaining the origin of life from a synthetic organic chemistry standpoint. Tour's argument centers on the complexity of synthesizing the basic molecular components required for life and the even greater challenge of assembling these components into a functioning biological system, such as the simplest bacterium. His emphasis on the role of synthetic organic chemistry in understanding the prebiotic synthesis of life's building blocks is rooted in his expertise in the field.
Tour points out several critical challenges:
    - The difficulty of synthesizing the four basic classes of molecules (nucleic acids, proteins, carbohydrates, lipids) under prebiotic conditions.
    - The complexity of assembling these molecules into a functioning cell, even if all the necessary components were available.
    - The chiral nature of biological molecules, which adds another layer of complexity to their synthesis.
    - The degradation of organic molecules over time, which challenges the notion that time alone could facilitate the spontaneous assembly of life's building blocks.
His critique extends beyond the scientific challenges to the implications of the perceived gap between public understanding and the current state of origin of life research. He suggests that overly optimistic portrayals of our understanding of life's origins can lead to public mistrust in science.
From an unbiased and objective standpoint, Tour's argument highlights significant and real challenges in origin of life research. His emphasis on the complexity of synthetic organic chemistry in relation to the origin of life is valid and underscores the interdisciplinary nature of the problem. However, it's important to note that the field of origin of life research is inherently interdisciplinary, involving not just synthetic organic chemistry, but also evolutionary biology, planetary science, and other fields. Researchers in these areas contribute different perspectives and methodologies to address the questions Tour raises.
While Tour's critique is based on current scientific understanding and the limitations of synthetic chemistry, it's also important to recognize that science is a progressively refining process. What is not understood or achievable today may become clearer with future discoveries and technological advances. The origin of life is a deeply complex question that remains one of the biggest scientific challenges, and ongoing research continues to explore potential pathways that might bridge the gap between non-living chemistry and living systems.

*_Old Earth vs. Young Earth_* -- How refreshing to find a Christian scientist who can say, "I don't know." We need more scientists who are like this. I too do not have the expertise in astrophysics to vet the purported age of the universe, but the colliding of galaxies tends to suggest that a 6,000-year universe is woefully incorrect. It takes millions of years for two galaxies to approach, collide, separate and collide again. Some pairs are in their second or third collision as gravity brings them spiraling closer and closer to one another, all the while, their "guts" are strewn across intergalactic space.
*_If the universe were only 6,000 years old, then God would have created the aftermaths of collisions which had never occurred. Why would God feel the need to appease biblical literalists?_* He wouldn't! God wants us to be humble, and *_hiding_* wisdom in the Bible from literal eyes tends to provoke the reader to be humble in order to find Truth.

The Bible says human history is 6000 years but it doesnt say how old the Earth and universe is. Before Adam and Eve Lucifer and his angels lived on this Earth, when he fell the universal flood came (not Noahs flood, a universal flood which also covered the universe hence God split the waters. 2. Peter also talks about this and not about Noahs flood) for how long ? Nobody knows.
Also keep in mind that God always creates with the APPEARENCE of age. For example he didnt create Adam and Eve as infants but as adults same as with the trees and everything else. I also highly doubt that Adam and Eve had to wait millions and billions of years to see the light of the stars.

If you are at all like me, I think it has two main purposes -- 1) to relay God's Truth in the best way it can, and 2) to teach us how to return to Heaven.
But there is a problem: *_Truth cannot be held by physical, human words. The language of Truth is spirit._* The Kabbalists who wrote the Pentateuch (first 5 books of the Bible) used the Language of Branches -- a type of metaphor based on code words. My own research shows that there are additional layers of meaning to the Bible, if you use the Holy Spirit to look. For example: The patriarchs of Genesis 5 lived to seemingly outrageous ages, until you examine Genesis 5.2 more closely. Genesis 5 talks about *_eponymous tribes,_* not merely individuals.
Noah's Flood occurred 27,970 BC, right when one specific species went extinct! That species was the "daughters of men" mentioned in Genesis 6.
Adam and Eve arrived on Earth 10,434,130 BC -- all derived from the code found in Genesis, and from the Kabbalists' *_Tree of Life_* matrix embedded in two chapters of Genesis.
I describe this discovery in my book, *_The Bible's Hidden Wisdom: God's Reason for Noah's Flood._*

I sometimes wonder if the world is any older than human speech. Because yes scientific evidence points to a much older earth. However if you are God than you can fake that evidence. Gods exists outside of time, so it doesn’t apply to Him. He created time. Everyone who has died and come back has said the same time - there is no time where they went. They said it was like everything happened all at once, but also took eons. This is why they have a hard time reporting what happened in a linear fashion.
So God could have create the earth, man, animals, plants, etc all in a day. And yet they could be all over the prehistoric record, as if they had been created millions apart. That wouldn’t be faking it, that would be doing what we can’t do.
We are bound by time (it is our fourth dimension, because we live in 4D, not 3D). And yet we also know that time is relative (from Einstein and others). That’s why satellites (going at a different speed than us on earth) need to have their clocks adjusted frequntly, because their time is different from our time on earth. So we know that even in our dimension, time isn’t fixed and unmovable. We just don’t have the power to do what God can do.

Wow, I never thought of that! I dont think He really faked the age of earth, though. It seems quite evidently young. I mean when we create elements in a lab (proton-21 experiment) they are created with lots of daughter element dating them as millions/billions of years old. and the elements also form at same ratios as seen on earth. i think atheists latch on to weak but twistable evidence of old age like dating methods, but ignore the rocks screaming of a global flood for example. genetics also tell us about a recent date of creation. i mean i think young earth creation is very obvious. but you brought up such an amazing point about animals being surprised at existence and the inability to communicate events. i totally agree that speech is the marker for creation.

So here's a question, if it was a 6 day 24hr period. Why couldn't it be? Jesus rose from the dead and there is plenty of science to tell us that doesn't happen? And the evidence pointing to 6 day period of 24hrs, is convincing.
So if you deny the 6 24hr period clearly spoken of in the Bible, and it is an earth day, the Hebrew is written in such a way, then we can also say "ach, the resurrection was just mytho-history".

    • @blusheep2
      @blusheep2 2 ปีที่แล้ว

Science can't say that a resurrection isn't possible. What it can say is that it hasn't been demonstrated. When it comes to the age of the universe the science can say that there is direct evidence for its age. There is a big difference between saying that something can't happen for lack of evidence and saying that something happened in spite of evidence.
There are actually many hints in Genesis that we aren't talking about a literal 6 days of creation. A lot wraps around Genesis 2 and if its a parallel account or if its a sequel. If its a parallel account then there is a contradiction because the order of creation is disturbed.
Its a long discussion but it begins here: The phrase "In the beginning" can be translated "When it all began." If the later is the proper rendering (the first rendering isn't wrong, its just not the only way) then it makes the second clause "the earth was formless and void" a dependent clause. What that would mean is that the scene is slightly different then our common conception. It would be saying that When it all began, God came into a creation already in existence but without order or purpose. There is more to this but I'm trying to be brief. Ill say this to close. 1)This doesn't mean that God didn't create the "formless and void" earth, for other verses make it clear that all things were created by God. 2)This reading parallels ancient thought. Ancients didn't understand much about how things happened and so they didn't care about the "hows" but rather the "whys". Things became real and meaningful when they served a purpose. All the ancient surrounding creation stories began with "why" the god's created everything. None of them explain how.

      1) The 6th day is longer than 24 hours. Look at all Adam accomplished!
      2) How did Adam get so "lonely", in less than 24 hours (probably more likely less than 12 hours - doh!), by your account, that he stated "at long last" when he saw Eve? He was less than a day old (by your account) Would he not be like a child in amazement at all the sights, sounds, smells, animals (that he had get to know to name them), insects, birds, plants, flowers, etc.. Yet, according to you he got so bored. - right? That is illogical and plain silly!
      3) The 7tn day is longer than 24 hours. God is still at rest for thousands of years!
      4) How do you have a day if the Sun was not created until Day 4. You need a Star and a rotating planet to determine a day as 1 rotation of that planet in relation to the Star. - right?
      5) How do you have evening and morning with no Sun? - derp!
      6) There was evening and morning Day 1, Day 2, Day 3 etc. is only 12 hours. - right? Not 24!
      7) Why do you need to lie about the 24 hour period "clearly" spoken? That is a poor folklore translation and does not line up with the book of nature at all!
The only place it states days is on day 4 when the Sun and Moon can now be clearly seen. . - Why ? - Seasons, DAYS, and years. This is critical for the animals that are to come.
      8) Genesis 1 states 6 "yom" which can mean 6 long finite periods of time which just happen to coincide exactly with the book of nature! - Grow up!
Why is it so hard for you to understand that the Hebrew word "yom" has four literal definitions?

14 billion years is less than a blink of an eye to God!
He is eternal with no beginning and no end. - Right?
Read Isaiah 55. We do not think like God.

God Created Adam and Eve 50, 000 - 150, 000 years ago. (Accurate dates are still being debated) Carbon 14 dating is unreliable past 40,000 years. (Note: There is a new study suggesting that Carbon 14 dating can be extended to 55,000 years. I'll wait for further peer reviewed responses)

@@MutsPub then God has lied about 6 days, how does it fit your millions of years when you read in Exodus 20 for in six days God created the heavens and the earth, oh by the way the word day there is Yom and the old day is as a thousand years you better read 2 Peter it has nothing to do with creation but with the coming judgment and patience of God But by His word the present heavens and earth are being reserved for fire, kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly people.
8But do not let this one fact escape your notice, beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years like one day. 9The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not willing for any to perish, but for all to come to repentance.
      A New Heaven and Earth
10But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a roar and the elements will be destroyed with intense heat, and the earth and [c]its works will be [d]discovered .
In the context, the word day in Genesis 1 refers to six 24-hour days. Every time it appears with “evening and morning” or with a number like “sixth day,” it refers to a 24-hour day.
Did God create the whole universe, including the original plants, animals, and first two people (Adam and Eve) in six literal 24-hour days? Or did creation take place over millions of years?
To answer that, we should remember that the original readers of Genesis were not scientists or Hebrew scholars. Rather, they were former slaves-mostly uneducated- on their way to the Promised Land. The fathers were commanded to teach their children (Deuteronomy 6:1-7), so the Hebrew language in Genesis 1 must have been very clear to the common people, even to children.
When we look carefully at Genesis 1, in Hebrew or even in English, it is clear that God created everything in six literal (24-hour) days. First, we are told that He created the earth in darkness and then created light. Then He called the light “day” and He called the darkness “night.” And then He said (in the original Hebrew) “and [there] was evening and [there] was morning, one day.” He repeated the same statement at the end of the second day through the sixth day.
So the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
Everywhere else in the Old Testament, when the Hebrew word for “day” (יוםֹ, yom) appears with “evening” or “morning” or is modified by a number (e.g., “sixth day” or “five days”), it always means a 24-hour day.
On Day Four God further showed that these were literal days by telling us the purpose for which He created the sun, moon, and stars-so we could tell time: literal years, literal seasons, and literal days.
Then in Exodus 20:8-11 God commanded the Israelites to work six literal “days” and rest on the seventh because He created in six “days” (using the same Hebrew word).
Furthermore, Jesus and the New Testament apostles read Genesis 1-11 as straightforward historical narrative. There are additional good scholarly reasons for coming to that conclusion.1
There is no biblical or scientific reason to be ashamed of believing in a recent six-day creation. God has spoken clearly and truthfully. Will you trust His Word over the arrogant claims of sinful men?
In your so called long age you have maligned God who is capable and of creating in a short period of time ,for He is above all and beyond all ,He spoke into existence all things as did Christ with his miracles for He is the creator , you need to go back and read your bible fellow.

This is something I have struggeled with, I have looked at verious science videos by Christians such as Spike Psarris looking for various things that are proofs to show atheists that demand proof, and I still keep coming back to faith.
Rom 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Heb 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
We can only come in faith, I have often said that when we cross from this life to the next, faith cannot and does not work there because it is the true reality, when you come to the full knowledge that God is real on the other side, then you canot have saving faith because faith is believing without proof, once proof comes then faith is then rendered null and void.
To try and find proof for the atheists goes against the teaching of having faith.
Heb 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Heb 11:7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.
Faith produces actions that are in accordance with the faith that produced them.
Sadly one of the things several atheists have said to me, is when I post scripture they ask why am I posting scriptures when they do not believe the bible, to them it is the ramblings of ancient goat herders or rambling about a flying spaghetti monster.
They reject the very thing that produces saving faith.
if we could produce proof that proof then denies faith, if they come to the conclusion that God is real via some proof then faith is destroyed in them because of that proof.
Zeal to see them saved must still go by the way of faith or we deny the very substance of our Christian walk.

Proof does not deny faith...if a random person in the street gave me a pill and said it would cure my infection, I could trust him but it would be blind faith as i have no evidence to know he is safe to prescribe or even know what my illness is, or what that pill is. If a doctor in a hospital gave me a pill, I would be far better positioned to believe what he is saying and that the pill is beneficial to my body. Evidence of authenticity and reliability can help give a foundation to build from. In the end, spiritual reality cannot really be fully understood by physical reality but physical reality is where we start.

Faith in God without proof is what God is looking for.
I am sure you are well aware of the faith hall of fame Hebrews ch 11
      They all acted in faith.
Heb 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
That is why it is faith, because we can believe the things God has said without knowing for sure.
I do not know for sure that there will be a New Jerusalem, but we are told there will be, I have no evidence to prove there will be a New Jerusalem, so I must take it on faith that there will be.
It is said that about 2/3 of all bible prophecies have come to pass, I Believe that is true so then I can rest assured that the other 1/3 will also come to pass.
For me faith is believing without proof, The Jews required a sign, a proof and none was given save the sign of the prophet Jonah.
I do believe that because God was doing a new thing, and knew the Jews would fight against it, that Jesus and the apostles did many many miracles and still so many refused to believe.

Regarding the timeline of creation stated in Genesis 1 of the Bible, many people think that creation occurred within a 7 "earth-day" period. However, if one reads the actual text of the Bible carefully, it is very clear that the “days” mentioned in Genesis 1 are not referring to the assumed 24-hour earth- days with which we are all accustomed. Because, what is a “day” on earth? Isn’t a "earth-day” the single revolution of the earth around its axis? (By the way, science has shown that the rotation of the earth has not been constant over earth's history. Additionally, every celestial body has a different length for its "day".) According to the Bible, the Earth was not "formed" until the 3rd day of creation. Prior to the 3rd day of creation, the earth was "without form and void". So, how could an "unformed" earth have rotated about its non-existent axis during the first two days of creation to provide a measure of time? Clearly, God was using a different measure of time for a “day” during the “seven days of creation”. In other words, God was not using an “earth-day” as a unit measure of time during creation. To think that God would use an "earth-based time clock" to measure the creation of the universe is akin to the out-dated geocentric belief that the universe revolves around the earth. Even though God is everywhere at all times, God did not have to be "on" earth [Obviously, since the earth had not even been formed until the third "day" of creation.] and therefore not limited by an earthly time frame, when He created the heavens and the earth. (By the way, when was the clock invented? When was the unit measure of time for a second, a minute, an hour, a 24-hour day established? These are all relatively new innovations. So, how could they have measured time at the moment of creation.) God is beyond heaven, earth ... and time.

I suggest study the bible more, read commentaries and listen to TH-cam less:) God states almost monotonously, then there was evening and morning the first day, then there was evening and morning the second day, evening and morning the third day, etc etc all the way to the sixth day then God rested. It's very hard to take God as saying anything other than 7 literal days when he speaks of evening and morning, singular, which only happen in a day. If you can look past something this simple in scripture and still try to cram millions of years into genesis, I would not trust anything else you have to say about the bible.

About 30 minutes in they're talking about making life in a lab. I'm thinking even if they succeed in making life in a lab, all they have proven is that an intelligent being with a vast amount of knowledge can manipulate matter to create life. That's far from a purely naturalistic explanation of life without God. In fact, it would seem to promote the opposite explanation; that an all-intelligent, all-powerful being can manipulate the matter which he created in the first place, to create life, which, once sufficiently intelligent can begin to question the existence of that very being.
It amazes me the gall or perhaps I should say the idiocy of some people who think "If I, an intelligent being, can just gain enough knowledge to create life in a laboratory, I can prove once and for all that there was no intelligent being who created me."
