I was driving a rental bike (Tracer 700) with 117.000 km. All perfect! Amazing bike!

That bike should easily do double that mileage and more, people seem to think 20,000 miles is high mileage for a bike, keep it going

Thank you for sharing your experience. I have myself a '17 Tracer with almost 40k, in which I rode the last 10k in 1 year. Great bike and considering that previously I got a XT600 for 13 years... It looks it will as simple to maintain as before! .Cheers from Portugal!

Many thanks for the very informative video. I have a blue one. I was concerned about the chain noise in 1st gear, but am a little relieved to hear that you have the same problem. Mine has done 26k but it seems that it will go plenty more.

    HALLO!
I drove until now 95.000 KM on a MT-07. I have the same experience.
High Quality at all. Now I bought the new Tracer 7. Suspension and Sound of the Exhaust is much better. My MT-07 will stay und be ridden by my daughter over the 100.000 km.😉

Cool review, I had an MT07 for a year and loved it. Considering something like this in the future.
On a side note, I always wondered why non0native English speakers say 'be having' but now realize it's 'behaving' 😂

Very nice video. Thank you for the shared experience.
I have a TRACER 700 GT from 2019 and currently 17000 km. Aside from the chain sound you mentioned (and maybe the rear brake should be stronger) this is a great Yamaha motorcycle.
Since you mentioned in the video that you have changed the tires several times, I will ask you for advice on which brand and model left the best impression on you - experience.

Thank you Checo Moto for the video, it is very useful video for me. Could you tell me your height please? I have bought a new Tracer 7, I have never traveld before and I do not have experience riding motorbike. My height is 187 cm. I think it will be comfortable for me. Thank you!

€ 50,- for a new battery!!!??? The Austrian dealer will only open the shop for this amount ... 😢
19 tires for € 1650?? I'd say you pay twice as much nowadays in Austria.
Maybe he is mentioning the cost without taxes ...

Ha! Nice friendly prices. I think in German speaking countries the service-cost is twice or triple!!!

  • @sandwaves5642

This bikes will do well over 200000km, if serviced propperly.
NEVER pressure-wash the axel of the rear swingarm !!! - a dick-fart, that sold me an MT07 prommised that he never pressure-washed the bike, but he lied. After a couple of weeks, a nasty squicky sound appeared, and it became louder, nd louder.... till I tok the bike appart and cleaned the rust / greased the bearings..... 🤬
One more things with this older serie, is the "start slider-switch". This part has a habit of getting stuck >>> burning the start relay..... The last eddition of Tracer 7 has a normal start switch, but these - of the older type - will be fine, if kept cleaned and oiled with plastic safe oil ( the return spring can also be replaced with a stronger one ).
