Thank you for telling us that the negative side has to be released first. I had never seen anything that mentioned that. Other videos or manuals show it, but they don't emphasize the importance. I never realized that it mattered. Thank you.
and if you have that plastic positive safety cap, I'm guessing putting that on first would keep you from accidentally dropping your wrench across and completing the circuit
Thank You so much for posting this video on how to replace a lawn mower battery. The battery in my riding lawn mower was dead after the winter and it was time to replace After 3 years. I replaced it with a new battery after watching your video, did everything the exact same way and now my lawn mower is running great!!
Awesome video my friend. Our John Deere L-110 is 16 years old, and she needs a new battery. Eventually I will give her new tires, some paint in places that chipped off, and when she decides she can't run no more, then we will happily retire her, and keep her as an antique.
Thank you for showing me how to take out old battery, and putting in a new one. I'm a woman but independent so always needing to learn how to do things for myself...out of necessity ..I like saving my money too.☺️ Appreciate the video..thanks again for it.
Thank you. Just the instruction this woman needed to change the battery today. I have subscribed because I figure I have more maintenance info to learn lol. Have a wonderful day.
I also would like to thank you about the mention of the negative side should be done first. I removed the battery not knowing I removed the proper side first. I wasn't sure if I needed more info when installing the new one so I looked it up. Thanks again for taking the time to inform others.
Thanks for this! Our Ginkgo tree just dropped it's 8 million leaves and when I went out to hook up the sweeper to the lawn tractor it was dead. Quick trip to Menards for a battery and scavenged a 10mm wrench from my husband's tool box and we are good to go!
Thank-you for this video.I believe the battery in my tractor mower is not holding enough charge to keep the tractor going. I see a new battery sitting there, this is a very first for me.I can do this!!! ....I think :)
You threw me with the 'ol battery switcheroo! You started with a U1R-7 on the mower hood and actually installed a U1-7 inside. I kept worrying you were hooking it up backwards given the location of the positive prior to installation.
Thank you, I was totally lost on how to replace the battery (my dad is now disabled so I am trying to learn so I can help). I was so scared I'd get electrocuted hah.
We had a Husquvarna 18 HP single cylinder and the battery didn't last over winter. (Stored in heated garage) I replaced it with an upper quality interstate lawn tractor battery and never had trouble after that.
Thank you! You just helped this ole gal change her lawnmower battery!! I don't need no man!🎉🎉
You're definitely black

I was REALLY scared to do this but you made me feel confident enough to try. I did it! 😁
Texas gramma here thanks you. March 2021. I can do it.
Thank you for walking me through changing my battery. I was successful and mower is up and running! I’m not a handyman at all but this helped!

Thanks for the simple, clear instructions. My last battery arched, and I couldn’t recall the proper steps. Ha! Thanks.
