Three suggestions Shyvonne…Contact the better business bureau about the way he treats his customers, give him a poor rating on Google to warn other women about his harassment, and find another barber!!! Don’t go back- not even with your daughters!

Now, saying this in love, there is a reason why you still go to him, correct? There are plenty of barber's and many opportunities to not return. I have the same cut as you and my hair is in long twist braids. I keep my fade tight and do it myself with clippers I have owned for 15+ years. Male barbers tend to cut women around the ears like a male. You can do it!😊

The first time he made an inappropriate comment you should have never returned! That’s sexual harassment I’m sure you know that but the fact you went back and had to keep explaining yourself to this creep is weird! Apparently it didn’t rise to the occasion of you walking out and never returning!This is a very serious matter and should be treated as such!

When I had got out of a bad relationship I made the decision to be celibate. I stood on that. My next relationship I wanted a deeper connection with someone. My husband approached me it was everything I prayed for. We remained celibate together till we were married. We didn’t even live together till 2 weeks before our wedding. We been together 10 years and married for almost 8 years. I’m saying that to say “STAND ON BUSINESS” it will happen in God’s timing.

Married🙋🏽♀️…but my Sis has been single for years with a “friend” who I’ve nicknamed the “ service” man 😂😂😂😂😂 he can not move in, meet any of the family formally and she meters out time spent with him……anywho, I’ve noticed that men who approach women with sexual talk think single women are just lusty….they see a woman handling her business, taking care of home and family and want to join in……keep your standards high ladies….make them prove themselves….if they don’t have their own place, job and car….and have these things for years prior to meeting you they have nothing for you and don’t understand responsibility…. It’s very intimidating going to an all male barbershop. My cousin was our family barber for years until he moved states away. MY experiences in barbershops have all been tricky. I now send my boys inside and wait for them in the car. And because I wear a braided mohawk, I’ve learned to cut my own hair at home. It’s hard out here. I’m so sorry you’ve experienced this nonsense. Because he was so out of line.
PLEASE DONT GO BACK TO THAT BARBER . He gives me a very bad feeling. He may be getting mixed signals from you simply because you have gone back for a trim. He sounds like a predator. He said “There is something about you” They can smell prey from a mile away. The fact that he went to prison for over 20 years proves that he did serious time for a serious crime.

Absolutely, I will give you one story short, girls night out 30 yrs ago, walked in one girlfriends house to pick her up, there was a guy there, she was not someone I hung around, but, was with her cousin, and a few others. As soon as I came in the dining room with everyone else, he said, I know you got a ball and chain at home. Wow!!! Very crazy!!! That’s the reason I’ve stop going to barbershops. Now I go to a barber that has their individual salon suite. Look into that. It may be a little bit pricey but the service is great.
