    Thanks for your videos. I just got my Maverick mace and pair of clubs 2 weeks ago. I've been weightlifting and performing cardio for almost 30 years now and I'm very excited to add this to my workouts. I'll be studying all the moves in your videos so I can become proficient at :-)

    Would you recommend certain amounts of rep ranges for each exercise?

      Like all strength training tools, it depends on your goals.
      Heavy weight/low reps = maximal strength
      Low weight/high reps = general strength and conditioning
      As a general guideline for a beginner, aim for 10 reps. Once you can perform the exercise with that weight for 15 reps, increase the load and find a weight where you can only perform 10 reps again. Keep increasing the load and reducing the reps to 10 as you become stronger.

    Is swinging a 100 lbs club the same as bench pressing 300 or as hard as a 200 incline? The angle and positioning.

      The leverage of the club makes them very challenging, swinging a 100lb club (single arm) would take an enormous amount of grip strength.
