This is why I find your video very useful: It's good to temporarily turn off the display when reversing at night when you're using the mirrors and display to reverse because it can be hard for your eyes to adjust when switching between them. Use either the display camera while reversing or the mirrors.
is there a way to turn off the “entering school zone” notifications?? or turn off the volume change? when the display is off i want it to stay off. i don’t want to see school zones every time, or volume change every time i adjust.
I want it in on. every morning I turn the truck on screens black and stays black until the sun starts coming up I’ve tried so many things and it doesn’t come on
I have a 2024 RAV4 Hybrid Limited. I put the display on auto, but it doesn't switch automatically at nght. It stays bright. I have to go through the steps and switch it manually. What should I do?
I already knew this. But since this is a feature that I use quite often I was hoping there was a shortcut such as holding in the volume knob or some sort of quick one tap solution. But thanks for the video anyway
@@stevenwelchtoyota Yeah, even at the lowest settings, it's still kind of bright on my eyes, so at night, especially I like to just shut it off, but I was hoping for a shorter process.
2023 RAV4 LE info entertainment screen keeps rebooting. Why? It does it intermittently. It would just be stuck on reboot cycle, I only have 13k miles and I'm the original owner.
Is there a way to turn off the display without going through all the menus? Let's say I no longer need the map and the display is just a bright distraction. Currently, I have to pull over to go through all the menus. I tried holding down the volume button but it just reboots the display. Come on Toyota -- give me an off button! (A tune button would also be nice).
Also I was told that the Toyota RAV4 XLE has the feature for opening the hatch by waving your foot underneath the bottom, but I guess not.. Cuz it doesn't work lol.

I have a 2019 Camry and I do not have the dark mode option… Why would that be?

It is likely a issue with the head unit. I suggest getting it checked at your dealer.

It’s not standard equipment for the xle trim. Same as roof rack, awd etc.
