    Thanks for sharing. New subscriber and owner of YoloBox Pro. I'm trying to figure out the best case use for the USB-A port on the YBP. I'd like to be able to use it as an additional input for one of my Sony cameras, but even when I connect my CamLink 4K capture card to it, the results are studdering footage at best. Any suggested uses for this port, because it seems pretty useless to me?

    Audio problem for live.
    I could not do a live video program due to audio problem. My guests could not hear me when I was hearing them very low audio. It happens after the new update YoloBox Pro v3.0.0. It was working fine before the update yesterday Nov. 8.

      Hi Thomas - Let me know how you have your audio set up in to the yolobox

      @@TimSimpson Thank you for your response. I updated my YoloBox Pro 3.0.0 on Tuesday. Then I started my live video streaming. As my gusts join in by the Yolo Live link, they can not hear my audio when I connect my video camera into YoloBox Pro by HDMI cable. My gusts can hear each other and I can hear my gusts but they can not hear me. When I join through Yolo Live link then others can hear me. I used do my live video program before with out any issue.

      @@thomaskalladan4065 so to clarify - you're using audio from the camera mic over HDMI? or are you plugging in a seperate mic into the YB Mic socket.
      I'm checking this because I'm aware of low gain problems using the Mic jacks which I'm talking to yololiv about.
      If it's audio over HDMI - what camera are you using and is it a built in or attached mic on the camera?

      @@TimSimpson To your question "@Thomas Kalladan so to clarify - you're using audio from the camera mic over HDMI?" Yes.
      "are you plugging in a separate mic into the YB Mic socket." Yes. So I have audio input both ways.
      If it's audio over HDMI - what camera are you using and is it a built in or attached mic on the camera? Built in mic on Sony nxcam camera.

    !st time viewer & now Subscriber. I've seen a few other TH-cam videos on the YoloBox Pro where others have said they've had problems maintaining a constant connection for their streaming, and was wondering what your experience has been like? I'm trying to decide if I should get the YoloBox Pro or the Blackmagic ATEM Mini Pro ISO.

    • @TimSimpson
      @TimSimpson  ปีที่แล้ว

      Connectivity to internet is a problem independent of the device for the most part. What sort of projects are you going to be streaming, and what sort of venues?

    • @justalittledaf
      @justalittledaf ปีที่แล้ว

      @Tim Simpson I'll mostly be recording TH-cam videos (not streaming live ) for now, but anticipate branching off into live streaming as well later this year.
      Right now I'm deciding on the last couple of things I need to complete my home studio setup (i.e., Yolobox Pro & a Wireless HDMI setup).

    Do you use yolocast? Is it necessary?

    • @TimSimpson
      @TimSimpson  ปีที่แล้ว

      you don't need to use YoloCast at all. YoloCast is a different set of capabiltities that you might consider if you're doing a much bigger production that needs a larger workflow. I'm making a set of videos that explains this at the moment, so keep an eye out and hit that notify bell :)

    So if you have this you don't need to use obs

    • @TimSimpson
      @TimSimpson  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thats correct - with the caveat of what specific functionality you want. I'm making a series of videos that also cover the new Yolocast cloud service that turns this into something even greater too for those that need it, so keep an eye open!

      I ditched carrying around a computer and encoders for the all in one Yolobox. I dig it.

      @@philipscoggins wait until you see what you can do with yolocast as well! ! :) (content on the way :P )

    • @TimSimpson
      @TimSimpson  ปีที่แล้ว

      That's correct! All you need is the yolobox and a camera, and an internet connection of course. Than can be wired, wireless or cellular

    • @philipscoggins
      @philipscoggins ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TimSimpson yeah, I don't see any draw to the Yolocast. I got the Yolobox so that I didn't have to deal with a computer. Why would I add it back to the mix & also have to start paying? Not trying to sound like a troll, I just don't see the attraction.

    Why doesn't Yolobox support .mov files?

    • @TimSimpson
      @TimSimpson  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Short answer - it does support .mov files :)
      Slightly longer answer - .mov is a container for video, and the actual video contain within the .mov file could be any number of a wide range of video types.
      You can think of a .Mov as a kind of smart folder that holds video, audio, and several bits of metadata in a structured way.
      I've just asked my mates at yololiv for more info on what video specs are specifically supported and I'll combine that with into on how to view .mov contents in a new video in the next couple of weeks.
      Thanks for asking an important question!!!

    got a problem with yolobox, i cant switch ON my Yolobox when pressing power button.. i need to plug in the charger then ONLY it will switch on. Anyone know how to fix?

    • @TimSimpson
      @TimSimpson  ปีที่แล้ว

      That could be a problem with either the battery, the physical power button, or the charging circuitry. I recommend you join the YoloBox user group on Facebook, and repost there. Unlike most tech companies, the support staff at YoloLiv do participate strongly in that community and will get on to helping you quickly.
