I’ve been seeing ads for the yolobox for a long time but never really understood all its functionality. This was the most helpful video I’ve seen in demonstrating just how capable this thing is & I’m actually excited to try it out for some future content I’m planning!
Excellent overview, Aaron. I am looking forward to using these new advances of the Yolobox Pro with my Music collaborations and Table Tennis how-to videos.
Your videos are awesome, and easy to learn. The Yolobox Pro offers lots of advantages, for sure.
YoloLiv: Still requesting (for about the 5th time) video follows audio feature for hands-off, single-person live streaming with guests. Please, please, please put this feature in!

Thanks for all your very useful videos ! I also bought your Yolobox Pro stand and that's really perfect. But I have to do a livestream next week and I have a big problem. Since I updated my Yolobox Pro, the audio jacks no longer work. It simply doesn't light up and the external micro doesn't even appear in Audio mixer set up. I restarted the Yolobox several times, tried different microphones, it still doesn't work. Do you have any idea to fix this bug? 😱🙏🙏
oh that's no good! I don't have a good answer, I'd suggest contacting Yololiv support for that!

Thanks Aaron for your videos and your livestreams. I am a regular viewer. I do fishing livestreams. i am revamping my setup this winter. I have planned to build a personal server with ngnix and use obs to broadcast my stream. I will use a yolobox pro to rtmp to the server using a canon xf305 video camera. My question is: Would the Magewell Pro convert do the same thing? I see you use it for something similar. It would save me some configuring with ngnix if it would work. I know this is a long request but thanks for your consideration.
The Magewell device will receive the stream from the yolobox and output it over its HDMI port. You'd take that HDMI video and connect it to whatever else you're using for the livestream. So it can replace nginx if you were using nginx to receive the stream and output it on a monitor. But if you were going to use nginx to forward the stream to something else then the Pro Convert won't help. Hope that makes sense!
@@aaronpk Thanks for your time! Could I use the Pro Convert hdmi port out into an atem hdmi in as a source? This would allow me to use the feed to stream as any other hdmi source. I am always looking for ways to simplify my setup. If it will work this may be the way I go. Again thanks for tour time

They have to link audio sources to video inputs. So mics can switch by switching video
That's called "AFV" (audio follows video) and is the default mode in the yolobox!
Hi, I would like to use a Yolobox Pro just as a camera switcher for TH-cam videos. No livestreaming.
Is there a trick (i.e. with an adapter or camlink etc) to record 4k videos with the Yolobox Pro?
No there's no 4K support on the yolobox. There aren't many 4K switchers at all yet, and the ones that do exist are quite expensive.
@@aaronpk Thanks for the quick answer. So then the only "cheap" possibility would be then to use for each camera a camlink 4k and use a streamdeck to switch between the cameras while recording the video?
Will this then be recorded in one file or do I have to cut afterwards everything again new in postprocessing? I try to save time for the whole setup.
Using 4 camlinks would work but you'd have to be very careful about where you plug them in to not overload your USB bus. A better option would probably be the Decklink Quad HDMI Recorder card and putting that into a PC www.blackmagicdesign.com/products/decklink/techspecs/W-DLK-36
If you don't want to edit later, and don't need to record all 4 cameras, then you can do your switching in software like vMix or OBS and record only the program output.
Great video Aaron! Definitely lots coming from YOLOLiv. The only thing I may suggest is trying to get a bit more light on the overhead shot, to my eye at least, it looks dull/unsaturated. But, minor things at the end of the day
It was really hard to expose that one right so that you could also read what's on the screen! If I exposed it so that the real-life stuff looked right then the screen was completely overexposed.
@@aaronpk ahh yes, of course. That's the unfortunate thing about exposing for displays. As I said, great video regardless

Great video! One question about bringing in remote guests: Is it possible for them to present something i.e. a PowerPoint presentation?
I haven't seen a screen share option yet, so for now your guest would have to have an ATEM Mini and screen share through it so that their computer screen appears as a webcam to the browser source
@@aaronpk Thank you! Unfortunately, as I'd be inviting people who don't have an ATEM, I'll need to keep thinking about alternatives. The Yolobox Pro is perfect for what I need in every other way.
Great video explanation. Wasn't there the ability to scan a QR code to join the live feed or is that a different mfctr? Email link is slick too.

I'll tell you what's not my favorite feature and that's the paid service to livestream its ridiculous expensive after having to buy an expensive switcher already. It was awesome when you didn't have to pay for the service. The features are rich in the service I agree but just to do a point to point livestream is just not worth it. I do like your dev products btw.
You don't need to pay for the service to use the yolobox, it's a totally separate thing
