They take an oath to uphold the constitution. And they don't even go about making laws properly. Only legislature can make laws. But they use executive orders and agencies such as ATF etc doing it. They need to get back to the proper way of doing things. And need to represent us instead of themselves and their bank account

Make all Americans pay into it. Social Security is our national safety net for disabled and retirement. Bailing out and correcting it is AMERICAN THING THAT MUST HAPPEN.

At 22:33 he describes the amount of money in Social Security "trust" that government TAKES and issues Social Security a TREASURY BILL "that Social Security can just CASH IN later, when needed" - - WHAT ?!?! Hasn't worked & WILL NEVER WORK, because in 9 years Social Security will be in fact BANKRUPT, and at this rate, so will our country/government. They should have kept their greasy fingers out of it - - but instead, the people who have been paying into it out of their paychecks for decades until they retire, are being SWINDLED. Why don't they use their Congressional Pensions first, since they can't balance a checkbook - - and we seriously need TERM LIMITS for these jokers, and watch that their Pensions don't also bleed us dry.

Do not raise the debt ceiling, period. They need a balanced budget in 2023 while paying DOWN the debt. Reduce the size of the US government by 2/3. Also... end the Fed.

Just like a budget is needed for Americans to buy groceries with these high prices, Congress cannot keep overspending. Find other useless programs to cut, don't run first to cut social security.
It's a start, I say cut your salary and cut the current expenditures by 20%. Have you looked at the penny plan, Fair Tax, all of this is out there.

Why is it the subject is never about Corporate incentives or Corporate welfare? Especially when Ukraine has used up stockpiles & will and must be renewed by corporations always with a profit margin! The biggest distortion in the job market is the disparity in blue collar jobs vs Losses in the Tech market going on to a million lost jobs and these were high wage jobs making millions vs blue collar jobs who barely make 60.000 to 80.000 a year and these are only a quarter of blue-collar jobs the rest are under the national minimum wage! The absurdity of a reduction in the spending is where and who receives these Trillions for they are and have been for decades.

the way I see it, remove everything that isn't actually a right under the constitution and bill of rights, this includes retirement funds, healthcare, and social security, that shit is private sector stuff anyway, the young shouldn't have to pay for the elderly to sit on their asses if they want to get paychecks then they should take their own advice and get a job

How about actually holding contractors accountable? There’s no reason for a warship to cost over a billion dollars, especially if we are using mostly off the shelf stuff to build them. No reason a 3 inch clutch disk for a piece of equipment cost the taxpayer $2k when it cost $45 to manufacture. Should companies profit? Yes. Should they bill us for 400% markup? Hell no! Cut out the waste, the overcharges in defense, and you save billions! In Medicare/Medicaid, cut the inflated charges ($199 for a 99¢ bag of saline, $600 for a bandaid, $1500 for a $10 vial of insulin, etc) and you save billions. Cut pork out of funding bills and you save billions. Shoot down Chinese balloons with a $250 20mm cannon shell instead of a $4 million missile. Take the folks taking advantage of the government to task, and cut their over inflated prices down to even 100% over cost, and you’re still saving billions! They won’t do that though🙃 because it takes away from their off the books kickbacks.
Senitors should have buisness degrees to be eligible to run and should be fined 10k for every attendance absence on hearings. NBA are fined $2,500 if they skip practice. Our athletes take there job more seriously than these conartist.

Not every security user is an elder. A lot, A LOT of people are getting subsidized because of disabilities; like diabetes - which is something over 10% of US citizens suffer from.
Ones that I know on social security disability are blind and crippled, with no use of hands or legs.

Not that people who need it shouldnt get it but that it should have been put as its own program with money taken from say our military budget and not from our edlerly safety net . A young person with mental, physical, or drug dependant state should not come out of social security. It should be its own program. Funded in part or whole by portions of our other tax monies ( ie. From here, from there , so as not to sink 1 whole safety net. )
