Vivek is RIGHT. WE need to start at a ZERO BUDGET, EVERY YEAR, and justification needs to be presented to further fund ANY and ALL programs. If there is no justification, there should be no spending. The justification should show a BALANCED BUDGET, and if any department spends more than they take in through taxes, we should PRIORITIZE the most important things, and cut all the fat that never pans out.
The country cannot legally start at zero because liberal judges in federal courts have ruled on various aspects of budget items as being mandatory NON-discretionary spending. Among these are the entitlements such as social welfare spending. So Vivek actually meant to say that unless you repeal spending bills (democrats will filibuster that), the social welfare spending on BLM is considered more important than buying new warships, new airplanes, and highway improvement grants to States as part of their infrastructure aid.
That’s what people fail to understand, it’s not a tax revenue problem it’s a spending problem, cutting all discretionary spending is the only solution.

A lot of working people are struggling right now with inflation, it's insanity that the government is borrowing money into existence to overspend driving inflation higher for noncitizens, while fed policy is to slow the economy and increase unemployment for citizens. To increase taxes on people struggling to get by is another blow.
Not just taxes go higher, but your fees and utility rates go higher too as a result of illegal immigration. High property taxes are in part a result of part of those taxes going to pay for subsidized housing for social welfare recipients. High utility rates for electricity are in part a result of paying for subsidized electricity for social welfare recipients.
If you would learn Modern Monetary Theory (MMT), it explains the deficit in terms of sections (sectors) of the economy. There is the public sector, the government, and the private sector, the people and the businesses. Since the government creates the currency, they are able to take on a lot of a deficit. If they do that, then the people, the currency users, don't have to take on debt to live. On the other hand, if the government doesn't take on a high deficit, then the people have to take on a lot of debt in order to survive. If they actually have no deficit at all ("balanced the budget") the country will have a recession within five years of the year that the government had a surplus. It's always a balance between sectors: government high, people low. Government low, people high. The government can afford a higher deficit because they can never go broke as the currency issuer, unlike people, who can go broke as the currency users.

We use gas heat, I turned our heat off the first of March and they still claim we used $44 in gas? Vivek is RIGHT. WE need to start at a ZERO BUDGET, EVERY YEAR, and justification needs to be presented to further fund ANY and ALL programs. If there is no justification, there should be no spending. The justification should show a BALANCED BUDGET, and if any department spends more than they take in through taxes, we should PRIORITIZE the most important things, and cut all the fat that never pans out.
The country cannot legally start at zero because liberal judges in federal courts have ruled on various aspects of budget items as being mandatory NON-discretionary spending. Among these are the entitlements such as social welfare spending. So Vivek actually meant to say that unless you repeal spending bills (democrats will filibuster that), the social welfare spending on BLM is considered more important than buying new warships, new airplanes, and highway improvement grants to States as part of their infrastructure aid.
That’s what people fail to understand, it’s not a tax revenue problem it’s a spending problem, cutting all discretionary spending is the only solution.

Not just taxes go higher, but your fees and utility rates go higher too as a result of illegal immigration. High property taxes are in part a result of part of those taxes going to pay for subsidized housing for social welfare recipients. High utility rates for electricity are in part a result of paying for subsidized electricity for social welfare recipients.
If you would learn Modern Monetary Theory (MMT), it explains the deficit in terms of sections (sectors) of the economy. There is the public sector, the government, and the private sector, the people and the businesses.
Since the government creates the currency, they are able to take on a lot of a deficit. If they do that, then the people, the currency users, don't have to take on debt to live.
On the other hand, if the government doesn't take on a high deficit, then the people have to take on a lot of debt in order to survive. If they actually have no deficit at all ("balanced the budget") the country will have a recession within five years of the year that the government had a surplus.
It's always a balance between sectors: government high, people low. Government low, people high.
The government can afford a higher deficit because they can never go broke as the currency issuer, unlike people, who can go broke as the currency users.

You sound just like my story- our countries infrastructure is completely falling apart- medical system is crazy and now they will run out of our money in 10 years( or sooner) they don’t give a crap about us- I will be unable to work in 10 more years and that is when I will really need it.

What's headed our way fiscally is downright scary. I'm 69 and still working full time. I had planned to retire at the end of this year, but I don't know if I can do it. The sad thing is, I'm better off than most people.
I worked till I was 71 retired 2 years ago and if you don't have a nest egg you will not be able to maintain you standard of living on social security

David Schweikert is the only congressman I actually have to be in a certain mindset to listen to. He was on in the morning the other day and I had to come back to watch it at a later time. No disrespect to Mr. Schweikert at all. What this man speaks about is terrifying. Even if his facts were only halfway right, which I think he is 100, you would think that there would be more coverage about everything he says. It must be really frustrating to be yelling, screaming, shaking all the bells, honking the horn, pulling the alarms to and nobody is covering it. Well, as mainstream news goes.
