Let's start helping our healthcare spending by not letting food manufacturers lobby to have their unhealthy overly processed foods considered as healthy foods. Stop feeding it to our children in school lunches/breakfast. Ban commercials for unhealthy sugared cereal, soda pop, and candy, etc. just like cigarette and alcohol commercials were banned. Let our food be our medicine. Support farmers that grow healthy food that's untainted by pesticides and poison. David is a smart one. Though the math is not easy, it is real.

Social Security is NOT an "entitlement. Had Congress not raided the fund years ago, it would be interest-bearing and would be solvent. The reason we are financially destitute is the hundreds of federal agencies that have no Constitutional existence. ATF, Bureau of Land Mgmt, FAA, FDA, SEC, etc. How many billions do those agencies cost? And how long has Congress grown the government by passing bills, the contents of which are known by the authors but few others? The reality is that Congress has been screwing the American people for 80+ years.

They became a US Citizen, walked over to Social Security and get a monthly check! Stop allowing Illegals FREE FREE FREE! If you are on Subsided Housing, Food Stamps, they need to work!!! No work, No help! Please, stop calling Social Security ENTITLETMENTS! I paid every week for this. I did not have a choice! How about not passing a bill without seeing it. The insanity of not reading what you are voting for. Heated sidewalks for a town that has 12% unemployment? A fuel tugboat for transporting cars that has nothing wrong and purchase a new EV tugboat when the one in operation now works fine. Waste, Waste, Waste of the people's tax money for wasteful spending. Here is a concept, how about a balance budget? You cannot afford it do not spend it!

Perhaps sending money or anything for that matter to any other country should be cut? At least until issues within our own country is fixed?
Perhaps a government shouldn't be allowed to increase their own pay until the budget is balanced?

The consequences for such reckless corruption should be greater since high authority and higher pay grade Officials and People should be more educated to not turn their backs on serious public crimes against the People. These are not accomplishments and promotions to be proud of in the USA when the People who are to be protected and served are attacked and illegally arrested for County criminals. Thanks for sharing

When the US Government recklessly wastes (spends) more than it steals from Taxpayers (the ~top 50% who pay 96% of the Taxes - people who are actually productive) every year, new debt (reduction of future labor and capital resources available to be used) is created at whatever the Bond Market is willing to pay at Auction. Although the Federal Reserve tries to influence the Bond yield curves, ultimately, not even the FED is in control. The Bond Market (i.e. outside investors) rules! Although illegal for the FED to outright purchase from the Treasury, the Fed can of course buy up the US Bonds through third parties (Banks who are happy to make their % cut), but this leads to currency devaluation in the long run as you inflate the money supply. Economic laws and forces are a real thing, just as they are in math and physics. History is full of examples: Roman Empire (Military over-expansion, spending), WW I and WW II Germany (hyper-inflation. Modern Times: Japan today (demographic and high Debt to GDP ratio), Venezuela / Argentina (hyper-inflation), etc. etc.

Haha 😂 yes indeed … the fallacy of youth eh? It won’t happen to me ? It’s all bullshit? Someone else will fix it? … do any of these statements sit comfortably with you ? In your jesting about this Senators sincerity to save the American people … ? Is he immoral … no he is trying to save the sorry asses who are burying their heads in the sand and saying … bullshit nothing wrong we will be okay, we survived before …. Lol what he is saying and describing is the end of the USA … you better sit up and listen to him … he is bang on point …! The same trends are in place in UK …! Our government has - 67 million people, US 670 million people … your debt $31 trillion dollars and rising every month with Bidens spending bonanza … UK we have £2.3 trillion pounds debt … so we are right there Minime … holding your shirt tails as you go down dragging everyone with you globally … it is a fact … that your debt is owned by foreign governments … so if you can’t pay your debts it means … you cannot pay interest to all other sovereign nations that bailed you out of your toxic loans …! Let alone the capital ( the actual loan amount)
He is absolutely correct … it is my Children ( I have 4) and their children infact it is going to be the next 3 generations of Grandparents who are going to suffer … 10 years to total bankruptcy and the clock is ticking faster as the rates of borrowing is increasing every day
What he is saying in plain English is Americas income will only go paying the interest payments … it will not touch the actual debts … so countries selling their poison debts bonds in Dollars will save themselves … but the dollar will totally tank … because no one trusts a country that closes the banks doors on not their money but the money of foreign countries …! America is failing to serve as a Reserve Currency but a Risk Currency … and that is taking on a whole new global meaning …! Whether you know it or not 25% of your GDP comes from revenues from your prestigious position as the reserve currency … this 25% is being transferred out as other nations see the Risk Dollar, but have actual control over their own international trades with all THEIR trading partners … so guess what the Rouble the Yuan the Rupee the Euro and the Pound are all great currencies to those nations … and offer the ability to trade … so America is going to loose its GDP from foreign currency exchange and buying of toxic debt bonds … then what …?
You know who pays for this - and it is not the super rich … it is those on $20,000 - $400,000 dollars you are who is paying and going to pay this bill …! That is why 60,000 new IRS agents have been hired …!

I want you to take into perspective that a corporation has so much $money$ that they were able to pay Charles Barkley $100 million over 10 years to sit for a couple hours a night and talk about basketball, we don't have a spending problem we have a tax problem... We can meet a middle road if we raise taxes a little and make some cuts but we cannot just cut spending and sink our economy, we need to raise taxes on the super rich even if its 4%-6% and install a mandatory minimum tax no more negative tax rates.

The math just doesn’t add up. Did you pay attention to the charts of how much revenue would happen if we took ALL their wealth?

@@jakinboaz8558 if you notice on that chart he said "small businesses" and "richest families", but never mentioned the Billion dollar corporations, why do you think that is? because when you start to tax the major corporations the math starts to makes sense.

He explained the Art Laffer curve (Nobel Prize in Economics) for Taxation, 18-20% Tax rate range per 100 Years of REAL data. Also, Multi-National Billion Dollar Companies have choices. They don't have to stay headquartered in the United States. They can buy politicians easier and more legally outside the US than even in America. It is a basic financial principal: You can ALWAYS spend more than you make, until your creditors declare you bankrupt. No Matter how much Revenue or Tax Rate - That is the root cause of the problem. Fiat currencies go to zero when creditors no longer believe in your "Full Faith and Credit" promise. Fiscally, this country isn't even trying to slow down the inevitable.

The answer is no taxes for the super rich and corporations. If low taxes are good then NO TAXES are better!
