@@anotherperspective3076 I tagged you on my first effort on Insta. I need to do a lot more to get better shots though. Practice makes perfect - or at least abut better than before!
I went out into the forest and tried to take brighter photos of mushrooms. For a 1st, I am quite happy but I have to improve .... Thank you for this video that I have to translate because I am not English speaking ... I am French.
Stunning shots, Jens. Definitely something I want to try! thanks for some great tips, I wouldn't have thought about them. Mushroom Photography, here I come!
Unique technique - haven’t seen it on YT before. Most viewers would think effect done only in post - still possible. You are lucky to “know your mushrooms” and live near them. Nice haircut, too😁.
No haircut since corona...:D I am really a passionate "mushroom collector"... but the images I took were really the real reason to leave the house to go into forest (especially because the next lockdown in germany just started...)
Great tutorial, Jens, you make this technique look extremely easy. I want to try. I'd also like to see your image editing tutorial, please, when you can. Thanks.
Bei der Begrüßung am Anfang hab ich verstanden "Hey, ihr Rotzgören" 🤣🤣🤣 Hab gedacht, ich höre nicht recht und dann nochmal hingehört und musste lachen :D
Thank you;) There tripod which can be used upside down but I have not used a tripod, I put my camera into the dirt and used some branches below the lens to aim;)
there is a problem with your technic, if you take 2 photos of the same subject with defferent apperture, let's say f2.8 (to get nice background ) and f6.3 or more (to get the entire mushroom), then, because you used 2 differents apperture, there is a slight different of size of the mushroom because of distortion, and sometimes you can't really fix it with PS, and it's noticible as in your photo at 3:52 ;)

Super! What tripod do you use for such kind of photo?
Thank you;) There tripod which can be used upside down but I have not used a tripod, I put my camera into the dirt and used some branches below the lens to aim;)
Great🤘, do you reckon will work with a single flash? Muchas gracias ¡¡¡
I would say yes but I have not tested;)
Thank you for your comment.
How did you get the colour into one of your shots.
I have played with the colours in lightroom

Oh, and yes - I was wondering if you are if you are deliberately changing your hair at the beginning. Probably just jealousy 🤣
I have learned a new word (deliberately)....:D No, it was just... for fun^^ And I had no haircut since corona...
