  • Hey guys this week I made a pair of small cube ottomans for my basement. I love small cube ottomans and how functional they are. You can easily move these ottomans around and not only can you use them as an ottoman but they make a great side table or additional seating. The best part about these specific ottomans is there was no sewing required to upholster them. I used a pleather fabric that doesn't easily fray and cut a bunch of strips of it. Once I had a ton of 1 to 2 inch strips of this fabric I used it to wrap it around the base of the ottoman I built. Then used more strips to weave up the side and over the top of the ottoman to create a really cool and easy woven checked look on the ottoman. This was such a fun and easy project I hope you like the video! Thanks for watching!
    Cut List
    8 Pieces= 8 Inches
    8 Pieces = 16 inches
    8 pieces = 13 inches
    Plywood= 16x16
    4 frames put together with the 13 and 16 inches pieces using pocket holes.
    I used 4 8 inch pieces to attach two of the frames together.

    Nicely done! As well, you've given a voice to that scrap wood pile in my garage. Just screaming to become woven ottomans😹 Add that to the design voices in my head. Thanks so much for the inspo😻

    WOW!! they turned out awesome!!! That tan leather is a classic!! I love your shirt .....did you get your Dad to embroider that or did you do it??? There is no end to your talents!!! I think you should be opening up a little farm type shop with all these things on offer - or post them on-line for orders!! You never know, if it takes off, you will need staff to help you !!! Your own little cottage/farmhouse company !!!!

      I did make my shirt. It’s from one of my first videos I ever made. Updating denni with embroidery. It’s probably a very embarrassing video to watch now haha. And maybe one day. I just need to get stuff manufactured. 🥰

    • @kenn1936
      @kenn1936 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MaileyElaine you WILL get these things manufactured as it is so much less than the big companies are charging!! you can make a tidy profit without charging that amount!!!
