Allow me to be presumptuous and speak on behalf of all of us: Waaaaaayyy too long between videos! Your craftsmanship is off the charts. Thanks for posting - keep ‘em coming!
You make it look so easy to do but I know from my own experience that your expertise takes many years of practice. I can also tell you are a perfectionist. Your work is beautiful. Anyone of your clients are lucky to have you to do work for them. BRAVO!!
Great job. Glad to see you are back. Could you do a video of how you sew up the box cover (ie for the lid) - it might seem too easy to you but is a bit daunting for many of us.
That is a beautiful storage ottoman - you make it look effortless to make it! Thank you so very much for sharing this! It would be a great Christmas gift! I wish you a Merry Christmas!
- Your work is always "impeccable" & professional. Could you do one video with a focus on installing the support hinges. They're so important in the finish of a storage ottoman. Thanx 4 sharing.
Question: have you ever used upholstery tacks instead of staples? I cannot afford a pneumatic staple gun and staples for an electic gun are short and fruatrating. The longer staples have a flat point and just crumple.
Julie N: Perhaps a local box store like Home Depot or Lowes would have one to rent. Or, if those stores are not in your area, look on Google and say what you want to rent and I am sure you will find a place to help you.
Wifey67: I believe he said that adding the cardboard before the black cotton keeps the edge straight when it is stretched. But you can go back and listen to see if I heard him correctly.

Amazing work as always
Hello, what measurement did you use to sew the covering? Please respond as I'm trying to make one tomorrow
You have such a great talent!
What type of material did you use on the outside.
Question: have you ever used upholstery tacks instead of staples? I cannot afford a pneumatic staple gun and staples for an electic gun are short and fruatrating. The longer staples have a flat point and just crumple.

You were carefully lining up the tack strip with something. What was it?
Hi Karen
I was lining it up with the stitching of the piping. Thanks for watching our video.

If you're going to sell it, how much would it cost?
Pretty lovely
Hi why do you need to add the cardboard to the bottom before you added the black Cotten ?
Wifey67: I believe he said that adding the cardboard before the black cotton keeps the edge straight when it is stretched. But you can go back and listen to see if I heard him correctly.
Reupholster? Man, sure seems like you just made the whole thing from scratch!
You are the best! Beautiful 🤗

Hello what are the card strips and metal strips called please?
Where can I get a velvet fabric?? Need help pls?
How do you measure the fabric for sewing? Exactly the same measurement from only box dimensions or box+foam?
you have to take the foam into account
