    My gen 9 carbon should be here from China Friday. I hope.
    I went with the FHD+ instead of the 4k for better battery life and no glossy glare.

    Nice content. 🙂. Will wait for Dell Precision 3561 with T1200 GPU whenever you can get hold of it. 🙂

    Great review. Will there be a comparison between X1 extreme gen4 / P1 gen4 and XPS 9510 / Prec 5560?

    • @BsianTech
      @BsianTech  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks @J Liu, I might not be able to do the Lenovo ones as they harder for me to get those older models in but I just received the XPS 9510 in my hands now today so I could add that comparison to one of the Precision 5560 or XPS 9510 review when I get to it.

    I guess you were running a multi-core test (not a single-core one) starting at 13:04

    Good review! Do you have updated bios before you amazing processor behavior stability and throthling thermal managment system test? If no - please repeat this test! Otherwise this is very very poor thermal management from Lenovo, very unstable processor working and maybe i5 1135G7 is better and usefull maximum for this 9th series of X1 Carbon... (
    P.S. Lattitude 7320 showing more stability in your tests but i still in mind for X1 Carbon...

    • @BsianTech
      @BsianTech  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi @Frederick Rentschler, the BIOS was running the latest BIOS before the video was release. I understand your concern too and ran both benchmarks and thermal tests a number of times to check since I know there is a new thermal solution in Gen 9 compare to Gen 8. Personally I still more of a fan of having the exhaust onto the side then behind the hinge.

    The draw back is the video lag. 1080 is the minimum in my mind. I also don’t like the reduced ports. Do you have a port extender that you recommend?

    do you think is a good idea to buy the gen 9 now?. there's a great offer now

    Hello, which screen configuration will you recommend between the glossy UHD or the Matt FHD? Is it worth to go with the glossy version to get more color accuracy ?

    • @BsianTech
      @BsianTech  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I like the look of the matt but in term for photos and color editing the accuracy of the glossy version is far better.

    Is it good for light video editing ??

    • @BsianTech
      @BsianTech  ปีที่แล้ว

      You can do light video editing on this, just know when you do 4k video editing doing trimming and arranging will be okay but once you start to apply effects it start to struggle for real time editing as this laptop doesn't have a discrete graphics.

      Cheers @Jae J, I am afraid I'm not really called a fan of Kpop. Blackpink is the only band I like and some of G-idle songs, I don't normally listen to Kpop at all. I do appreciate their MTVs massively though.
