To close the top, You’re gonna have to use the key. Manually, Lock your car using the key fob on the driver’s side door, and hold still for a few seconds. Works like a charm.
I have BMW650I 2007, Most figures are available except the garage door buttons from the mirror. I have issues with the Armrest compartment. Suddenly the lock stuck. I didn’t use the actual key 🔑 to lock the trunk nor the armrest. I have been trying to unlock the armrest BUT no joy. Now one week am unable to unlock. Tried the keys but STILL unable to get it open. All other figures with windows, roof top opening from the FOB working well. IF you or any of your followers had the issue with the armrest? I would appreciate any tips. Thank you for a wonderful footage and features exploration.
Just so you know... if you can't get into the trunk to access the battery for a jump start...under the hood there's a red cover (with a big + on it ) that flips up exposing a metal plate which you can attach the +ve jump lead to ...and a metal earth post near it (only one on the car at the top of the suspension ) where you can attach the --ve jump lead to. ... GREAT VIDEO BRO !!! The valet key in the glove box was new to me....I often wondered what fitted there...I have the plastic valet key but not the holder CHEERS 👍👍👍👍

Instead of holding the lock button on the key you can insert the key into the door and turn it to either the left or right and hold it there it should close the top and the windows for you
Cool info.. having owned my E63 630i for 3 years now, I only discovered the mirror tilt function a few weeks ago.. I thought my mirror was faulty, like water had got into the electrics! 🤦🏻😂
This generation of the 6 series has always had a Timeless design. Even if you bought a "Good looking" 15 year old 6 Series convertible it would still look good in today's time. But mechanically it was always a big Nightmare and disaster for owners of the car even when they were brand new. Even BMW the company itself admitted that there were several mistakes made on this generation of the 6 series that are very costly, especially with the convertible top always breaking. Which was actually a problem for several different BMW models with convertible tops of that time. So yes it's nice if you can find a 15 year old 6 series that was well taken care of (which most of them were not and now look like hell), and looks really clean. But just be aware that like Range Rover and Maserati even though some of the well kept older models still look good today, it will cost you just as much as a brand new one to keep all the bells and whistles functioning properly.
I have a 2006 650i here in the UK,Gotta love the V8 ...u know u can put the roof up by putting the key in the drivers door and hold it in the lock position until the roof is back up !!

I don't believe the power plug in the passenger-side footwell is standard on later models (2008+). The heated steering wheel is also not standard on 2008+ models, but I don't know whether it was standard to begin with. I know the Harman Kardon sound system on 645Ci cars was standard.
I think your driver mirror is broken. My M2 when i put it in reverse buth my mirrors point down to the ground to make reversering easier. just one mirror lowering dosent make any sense. its your car, but i would fix that or try to if i were you.
I got an e64 and it does the right mirror only, my guess would be to help avoid curb rashing the wheels. I don't think it's broken, considering the e64 is a decade older than the m2, that feature was most likely introduced newer models.
F*uckin f*ck, when i found that lock under the armrest, i played with it and left it, some time later i noticed that my trunk wouldn't open, checked all the wiring, stripped half car, couldn't find the problem, and then your video came up and aaaaaaaa i wouldn't believe in that this lock will lock the trunk, turned it and magic happened, my trunk opened. Thank you so much!!!

In fact that's the only way your should ever jump start a BMW. Otherwise you will fry the battery monitoring circuit.

HK sound wasn’t standard! (Mine E64 645i 2004 individual don’t have it)
Use the key in the driver turn to lock it and hold it and it will close the roof and all windows
Normally the roof and the windows should close when you push the close button on your key
That is called a ski pass-through.
It took me 2 years to notice the steering wheel heater button. Now I use it all the time.
