I can totally relate to the difficulty holding your breath.

Good stuff. With more time in the water, the better your breath hold and comfort level will improve.

Thanks, i will definitely be doing more practice in rivers (adjusting my weight accordingly of course) so i get more comfortable being under water :)

Sub #858 right here! Dude I love that spot, camped there many times. I saw you and your channel on Dr. Kevin's Catch n Cook CA. Stoked to see another California channel out there, I've always wanted to try spear fishing, hopefully someday I'll give it a try.

I don’t. I am from butte county and I just enjoy the fort Bragg area. I enjoy all your videos. I want to try crab snaring my next trip. I like your video on that. Thanks for your content.

Really wish you wouldn't post locations and identifiable landmarks.
    You think it's necessary?
I bet people will still enjoy your content regardless.
    Thoughts?

Hey, I really appreciate your concern, and trust me, I grapple with this issue quite a bit myself. Here’s how I think about it:
Public Knowledge: The spot I featured is well-known and commonly used for dive training. Several local diving schools and classes utilize this location to safely teach newcomers from all over. It's not a secret spot by any means. though trust me i do keep the locals spots under wraps. i have alot of footage where it would be impossible for other to know where i am , unless they are local lol
Educational Value: Part of my goal is to educate about responsible and safe diving practices. By showcasing accessible locations, I hope to encourage viewers to dive responsibly, aware of their surroundings and the impact they have on marine ecosystems.
Community Building: I believe in fostering a community that supports outdoor activities while respecting nature. Sharing these locations can help build a community of informed and conscientious enthusiasts who look out for and protect these areas.
I’m committed to promoting sustainability and responsible enjoyment of these beautiful spots. If you have any suggestions on how I can better balance showcasing these locations while preserving them, I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Thanks for taking the time to respond and glad that you've put some thought into it. We're so fortunate to live on the North Coast.
Grats on your first speared fish.
