What a difference! That autism advocate who's no longer afraid to come to JOB meetings. That dad getting a meaningful response to his concern about his son. Tanisha gives an eloquent address; like she has some basis for faith that she'll be heard and understood. This coming election, I'll be looking to these people for advice.
Please quit referring to the public as "the audience". We're not onlookers, we're participants. And those rare few among us who show up to address you in person, they're community leaders. I'm audience. I bow to them! 🙇♀
