    ゆうすけさん けんさん Your videos are really helpful. I'm trying to learn speaking Japanese and viewed lots of stuffs. I'm amazed by your conversation way of teaching, which helps me a lot. Apparently Y san read a lot and is pretty good at using lots of verbs. I'm viewing multiple times each of your videos and trying to remember as much as I can. Please accept my thanks to you guys. Give us more conversations! 本当にありがどうございます

    Awesome interview. Thank you so much. I think the roundabouts are to force drivers to slow down; if the roads cross at right angles, drivers are much more likely to cut through intersections (in France and Mexico where I saw many roundabouts). Japan doesn't need them because, of course, the Japanese driver will always stop. I live in the U.S.A., and I guarantee you that there are many impaired drivers (drinking alcohol, smoking marijuana, under the influence of other drugs). Texting while driving is a norm here, sadly. In Japan, all the vehicles drive at the designated speed limit; here everyone drives at whatever speed they feel like. I hate cars and driving, as you can tell 🤣🤣😂😂 Seeing Ken san's smile when imagining 2:00 a.m. barbeques in the Philippines has got to be one of the all time classics of TH-cam!!! 🤣🤣😂😂 I appreciate how Yusuke san foregrounds everyday conversations and everyday surroundings as a way of teaching and learning. Thank you again.

    As a Ukrainian refugee who tried a lot of different approaches to Japanese language, I am 100% percent certain that your dialogue videos gave me more information about conversational Japanese than my entire beginner course. Of course there is no doubt that my previous teachers did great job. But it feels like I’ve absorbed more useful knowledge just from one video more than my entire previous studies.

      You're right. Learning a language isn't complicated, it's very simple--listening, memorizing, and then imitating.

    Your channel is different! Having been learning Japanese for a long time and taking JLPT, my spoken Japanese doesn't really improve much. I always have Japanese people talking around me (my Japanese family and colleagues), but most of the time I shut my ear to that. Because I don't really understand things nor being able to respond fully. I will try to listen to your channel and improve my listening and oral Japanese! Thanks.

    • @moshimoshi.yusuke
      @moshimoshi.yusuke  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, JLPT and spoken Japanese are quite different. But my videos here are practical and immersive 'cause they are real, unscripted, everyday conversations.
      I'm rooting for you in your learning😁

    Great videos. Could someone explain why the って comes at the end of the word 問題 as in 問題って at 1:38?
    I understand when て comes after a verb etc, and also for linked clauses, but bit confused on this one. Thank you.
    EDIT: Also, why おおき(な)not おおきい?Isn't おおきい an い adjective?

    • @JonathanAuburn
      @JonathanAuburn ปีที่แล้ว +1

      According to Jisho, って can be used in place of は to mark the topic, and I think the reason it's here at all is to emphasize the difference between Yusuke's situation (which ends with けど) and Ken's condition, which is the point of the question. I don't know if there's any grammatical role for it above that, it seems like it's just a bit easier to say. ~は ありますか I don't think is heard often in everyday conversation, with は generally being dropped.

    Always interesting conversations, a great way to understand japanese, thank you so much for the subtitles!! I thought in Japan there are no circular intersections because of the culture of minimizing risks. Which in this case it also shows how much the society prefers people with no decision skills, but reliant on a traffic signal instead. Zannen. In my home town there is a big circular intersection with double lane, with double and single lane entrances and even long buses enter there. Accidents are very rare. Check Locarno rotonda.
