It's frustrating to find TH-cam content that I can fully understand with new words only here and there, so it isn't overwhelming. I've fully repped the N5/N4 Anki decks, and have done a bit more beyond that (N3 + mined several of my own words), but other videos are still depressing because there is a lot I struggle to understand. Thank you for your continued efforts, we all appreciate you.
Yep, totally agree. My dream is to come to Japan, to study this pleasant language in the language school. While I save my money (in my country it is hard to do :D) I Learn Japanese from home and watch your, Shun, podcasts and videos. I am not struggling; I understand ~95% of everything - and one day my dream will come true.
Shun-san's video is different from others in that he tried to compose sentences with vocabularies that commensurate with the level indicated in the TH-cam title. You can tell that he sometimes paused a bit to try to find more suitable words to apply which is very thoughtful. As such, one feels more confident after watching his videos instead of getting depressed. Great efforts! Thank you for your videos.

I agree Shun's videos are easier than most "beginner" content, and it's very helpful. You might also want to try the "Complete Beginner" videos from Comprehensible Japanese channel.

I made the mistake of going on 成人の日 and there were crowds of young women in kimono (but no guys😥) filling that same lobby and hall you are walking through in the video!
