My favourite tip from Onomappu at 8:06: “Fluency first, accuracy later”. Don’t mind if you’re not speaking perfect. Just get the habit of trying to get fluency in your speaking and correct your mistakes next time.

I love your videos! Somehow, I'm addicted to your grammar explanations! :-D I'm an English teacher in Hungary, so I view language learning slightly differently than a "normal" student. I was surprised about how much I understand now that I am in Nara for almost 3 months. I do agree that speaking to natives is the best way to overcome the fear of talking accurately which blocked me so much. I think I need to join your course now as I am in Japan 😊 It might be the right timing! Addition: purchased 🎉

Omonappu San is my choice of listening practice. A lot of the Japanese I've seen speak fast, I can't catch up. Omonappu's pace is perfect and clear for me to practice listening as a beginner.

I have found it very hard to learn Japanese from Japanese teachers without experience using a second or third language (or fourth). They always focus on accuracy first. Some enjoy comparing the Japanese proficiency of foreign students with native Japanese speakers. Many also feel so good when they hear that the Japanese language is one of the most challenging languages in the world. I have found it very different from learning other languages. I am glad that I have found your channels.

私もそういうタイプです。だから、スランプに陥りがちだと思うんですよね。「なんで今"に"言った?? "を"が正しいのに。。」って頭の中で悩んじゃうこと結構あります。
そうですね。すごくわかります。でも、伝わればオッケーだと思います！そう考えたら、間違いを気にせずに話せるようになって、最終的には上手になると思います:) 私も同じ経験をしたことがあるけど、間違いを気にせずに、とにかくたくさん話すようになってから、もっと話すのが簡単になりました:) 一緒にがんばりましょう！
