Yuusuke-san's channel was the first one I started watching when I decided to complement my Japanese language learning by watching native speakers' podcasts on TH-cam a couple of years ago. I really like your straightforward approach and that often you talk about something that is a bit above the usual small talk or popular topics, when you speak about things and problems that make the listener think more than usual. I guess that's the power of a person who can speak from the perspective of their age and experience. I am, being from a different part of the world and having a different cultural mentality, very curious about these problems you often speak in your videos, looking at them from your perspective is an interesting experience for me. Thank you, Yuusuke-san for all the wonderful content you make!

I was practicing how much I can pull from what I know at the top of my head its not much aside from what I already said in the past. Its how well I can put words together, Just have to practice. My TH-cam account is now populated by Japanese content, I am getting recommended native content. Which is great its what I wanted took long though. My brain wants to consume Japanese content over English. I slowly lost interest in watching English stuff over time. Also having 2 Cultural Identities due to being in Japan as a kid and US. I gave in to my Japanese upbringing over my US upbringing as I prefer the Japanese mannerisms and life style more. It has only strengthen as I reinforce my behavior further. ^^ You don't need to be in Japan to do it. I even been practicing my bows something that was stripped away from me that I never get to learn as a child in Japan I felt robbed after we moved out of Japan. Never get to learn the same stuff Japanese children have to learn it left me incomplete. Same for learning Japanese I would had a second chance as a child that was taken too. until now as a adult I have to complete all that on my own. Life gave me the worst hand. That's my deepest feelings I could not express that feeling to my parents at all, I wanted that life in Japan as a child. But its not to late though. As I said in the past I still carried most of the manners from you guys with me at least but not all of it which is the heart breaking part. All I am saying is the way you guys are taught in Japan from childhood is what I wanted in my life after the exposure I had, Being robbed of that makes me feel disconnected. But one day If I ever can go back to Japan I am gonna stay there forever. japanese are extremely smart at solving problems, and it’s one thing I admire about japanese people. just looking at the ultra complex but still extremely efficient railway system is mind boggling, the architecture and construction ability, the hightech computer science and engineering. even for the smallest problems, japanese come up with a smart solution. japan truly has some great minds.

Yes, there is so many variation with small nuances. And even more generally, Japanese is incredibly flexible (at least compared to my native language, french, or english). I both love and hate that x). I love it when I understand them but until that, just because of the sheer number of variations, it's daunting. Just to say "That's good", there are so much variation. これはおいしい これはおいしいですよね え。。。おいしい、これは これはおいしいんですけど え。。。おいしいんだけど If you add all the variation with the particle, the polite speech, the inversion (changing the order of the sentence), etc. you may end up with a very long list. I'm starting to understand some of them but I still have a long way to go. But despite that, when I managed to understand some of them and later speak with a Japanese friend, it really felt nice. Especially some small details like よ/ね which feel really... warm sometimes. Especially in private. In a group of people or more formal situation, well, it's still warm but also sometimes feels like a formality. Anyway, happy to have heard that from a Japanese person 😄. I was away from the channel because I was focusing on word and kanji but it's time to watch them again o/ Thanks you for your videos! ❤
