    I knew I kept watching this for a reason. I love the direction with Porscharu ! The purists have plenty of places to be if they don’t want to be here. Really looking forward to the rest of the build.

    This is AWESOME!! I'm a Subaru guy getting into Porsche's and have been binge watching all these Blasphemy videos. I taught myself how to read schematics so I could swap my 2.5RS coupe. Love the flat 4/6 sounds!! Now you got me looking for a old porsche roller to swap!! Back to bingeing!!

    Make templates of each mounting surface bolt pattern using a piece of plywood with cardboard glued to each side, a set of your center punch bolts, and make an adapter to fit the pilot bearing area for each side that follows the same centering method. Screw the bolts to the same depth all the way around to match the height of the throw out bearing centering point. Then gently push to indent the cardboard to mark the position of the holes. Follow the same procedure on the transmission with an added step of predrilling a small hole for the shaft to center on, then press to other side of board's cardboard face to accurately mark the holes. You are now ready to drill both sets of holes. I'd probably drill one set and spray paint the holes to keep the reference of what bolts to each and I'd also mark a horizontal line across the face after doing the first side to ensure I have proper alignment of each side on the horizontal and vertical axis. I hope that makes sense and by the way - great job!

    Amazing work! 3D scanner and 3D printer saves so much time and would be the perfect solution for prototyping the adapter and then you can shoot the final file off to the a machine shop and be done. It may sound cost prohibitive but a good scanner and printer have become extremely affordable in the last few years. You project is beyond anything I have personally tackled but I use this method for all my small jobs that require custom adapters, etc. For a guy like you, its a must have. Anyway, amazing job as always! ❤️ the direction of this build.

      @KarlFosburg 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Agreed. I live out in the sticks and there’s an Ace about 4 miles away. Big time saver and decent selection for last minute stuff. However, I find that Bolt Depot online has an amazing selection of metric hardware at really good prices. Usually, when I need a couple of bolts/nuts/washers, I’ll order from them and always quadruple the quantity I need and buy a bunch of similar sizes to boot... It’s nice to build up a ready supply. Their shipping is fair and it takes about 5 days.

    Then it can scan both the engine and gear box. It can create a 3d model image of both surfaces that you can use to create a CAD drawing of the mounting plate. Any one with a cnc machine should be able to mill out the design for you.

    Pretty CoolVideo , BTw Ace Hardwares are individually owned and Franchised ironically my local One does keep a full stock of Metric and ImperialNuts and Bolts plus them in a Grade 8 Polished it happens to be located in a small Waterfront Town inSouthernMaryland and it is full of nice high end Marinas with many Boat Owners that do a lot of their own Maintenance and Repairs the Owner got this line as aCourtesy for certainCustomers with GoFast Boats and CustomMotorcycle Choppers he also explained to me as a Customer that it’s kind of a Test Program for his Store because the individual parts are extremely expensive he wanted to see if it would be a Worthwhile thing to sell financially i must admit i purchased some Nuts and Bolts for a Honda GoldWing rear Shock Mounts and it was almost $40.00 to make it look the way I wanted it someone years earlier used a couple of Old Steel Lug Nuts to hold them on ? i Polished most of the Factory Engine case parts so i wanted the rest to match accordingly BTW i found your video because i found a 964 recently without a Engine for sale and i’m a big fan of the Subie Conversions because of the Cost benefits and a few others
