Nice sound! I had two of those; an '81 Sport, and an '85 LX. The downside: 68HP from a 1.5 does NOT equal fast acceleration. 0-60 in about 13 seconds. The upside: really great steering, suspension and brakes. Try a 1.6 from a 323. 86HP, and it should fit.

86' and after (the 323's) went to shit with a timming belt (WTF?) The 1.5 E5 motor has a double chain and a thick ass block that can be punched. E5 bullet proof.

I just bought an '85 GLC, with only 145000km's, and i need to look into how to get my hands on an adapter/manifold for that carb!

If you have the 1.5 GT it has 85 HP :)
