Probably the AJR community, more specifically TimberHines123, the most controversial person in the community, impersonating AJR and falsely taking down content he doesn’t own. Like, you don’t own the instrumentals, if all you wanted was to be credited for giving us the instrumentals, fair enough, but why take down videos over it? You don’t own it! And don’t forget about the lying he has done, as he has claimed he worked with the AJR street team, but (to my knowledge) has no evidence to back that up.

Didn't even know this community existed, but the archiving and preservation of logos as far going as the beginning of 20th century is impressive. Kudos to y'all. Also there was one top 1000 scary logos I did binge watch top to bottom over the span of 4 days, not necessarily because of fear, but rather curiosity. Extremely well made. Some were indeed quite grim admittedly, but it felt like a long history of logos from across the world I just randomly unlocked and got a bit terribly invested.
honestly, i think the logo community is a good thing. why? because i think that the logo/logo editing community lets people express their creativity, with or without autism. just letting people have fun, y'know? anyways, this explains the logo community really well and i hope more people do this kind of stuff
Honestly, as a person who was (and still kind of is) in the logo community and an autistic person, I honestly feel that my obsession with logos had sparked my interest in a lot of things, like graphic design, film production, music production etc.
You should DEFINITELY make a video on the Object show community (or the OSC) and I have been in this community for a while, enough to make each category: Layer 1: The top dogs and the runner up dogs, BFDI, II, etc. and people like Webzforevz, Hypercrystal, and many others. The good stuff. Layer 2: Like you said earlier, the weird community overlappings like Lolman444 which seems to be the origin of the overlap, Patient 0 as you will and also don't forgo. And this is the part where it is going to degrade from here. Layer 3: The other more touchy Object Shows like Object Terror, Random Objects Battle Royale, The Object Show Movie and oh god, Object Cosmos which has overlapped quite alot with the -Solarballs- I mean Planetballs community (The Solarballs community is yet another rabbit hole in its own right, just avoid mixing up with the actual Planetballs community) which knowing the nature of the OC subcommunity, sounds like an awful combo (and it is :I) Layer 4: Awful people like BookNoteOSC, Shallothare and countless others, the bottom of the barrel. also on a weird note, I have noticed that the OSC appeals more to a left wing audience and I heard that the Logo community has also that demographic, just wanted to point it out.
oh dear god object cosmos you know it’s bad when one of my friend groups (consisting mostly of numberblocks fans) makes fun of it at any opportunity because of how poorly the show represents space
i think the layers should go from popular > obscure instead of going from popular > controversial so like at the top you can mention the basic stuff most members of the community know like bfdi and inanimate insanity and the stuff the huang twins made before bfdi, then the more obscure shows + addition of controversial shows like object terror, then go deeper into the more weird stuff like goanimate videos and ytpmvs and other things
Being an autistic Gen Z, I remember being fascinated by logos. Perhaps a part of it is the fantasy of owning one’s own TV channel: a particularly successful instance would be Robert Stainton’s “Greeny Phatom”, which despite being an MS-paint cartoon has a whole wiki of fake information claiming it to be a real TV show. It makes for an interesting case study of metafictional outsider art. On an unrelated note, I remember this guy who uploaded Dr. Seuss Beginner Book and other children’s VHS tapes, but also had a strange fascination with the most horrifying thing ever conceived by Nintendo. They would use Giygas in their intro as the mascot of RET, their fantasized night-time block of NET (the predecessor to PBS). I remember someone commenting that their child liked the videos, but kept getting scared by the RET logo. Although they’ve been taken down, with a bit of searching you can still find reuploads of their rips, Giygas logo and all
If that's good, yeah that's good, but it depends on what movie you like. If you like 80-20s US flims, you're doomed to toxic masculinity and death by following the route of those satanic flims that destroy local culture. If you like German flims, if you watch horror you're in-part doomed, buy if you watch regular stuff I guess that's cool
Nah that Vadimon logo is pretty freaky asf. I remember having sleep paralysis when I was 12 and seeing those exact same eyes in it. It doesn’t help that I have not really good anxiety too.
Need to see more videos like this honestly. I rarely have any involvement with the logo community nowadays (due to wanting to keep a low profile) but I have made a blooper series back in April 2020, the latter of which has been viewed better (mostly by my friends) than most bloopers that contain imo the same plot and rundown. I also tend to imagine up a franchise containing a humanoid universe of logos, the latter of which I kind of keep a low profile on also apart with friends. Interesting to see the topic of scary logos being discussed here, I used to have such an interest in logos but over time that died to the discovery of scary logos that lowered my interest in logos, which the final nail of the coffin being Timpson Films. (2015 variant) Despite this, I tend to look around the community sometimes. Overall, solid video. keep it up!
This video explained in 1 word: Autism You didn't mention it, but I was obsessed with drawing logos in Paint when I was young (mostly Windows). Actually this channel I'm writing this comment on was created as an experiment to see how many views I could get by just doing that (because I have a bit more skill now than random 8 year olds). It must have worked, since I have quite a bit of subs now. Kinda unrelated, but there was also a whole community on TH-cam dedicated to Windows crazy errors (look them up if you don't know what I'm talking about), it was already dying out when I was into it in like 2014, but then 4096 made a super viral video and it kinda spiked up in popularity again. Last time I checked some people are still doing these videos. 11:20 also nice yume nikki music
band logos are a whole different group of logos especially the *METAL BAND LOGOS* xavleg, sanguisugabogg, party canon! (the party canon logo is wild) also a bunch more
FINALLY someone that talks about this particular type of videos. I've been knowing this community for 5 years now, not because I was part of it, but rather because I used to watch some of these videos back in the day, and because most of the people who saw my earliest videos were part of it or have some sort of relation with it.
I won't lie. As an autistic 90s kid, I like looking at old 90s logos and bumpers for a bit of a nostalgia trip. Nickelodeon had some of the best bumpers ever back then. Some of the "deeper stuff" in the iceberg like "logo skits" and "nightmare logo edits" are a bit odd, but I suppose if the kids (I'm assuming most of them are kids) are having fun and not harming anyone, then why should I care?
When I was younger, and I wasn't doing schoolwork and I wasn't at school at the time, I had a tablet that I can do stuff with. And no it's not an ipad. It's rather a Samsung tablet and I used it to watch logo community content and I didn't even know anything at the time. My dad pointed out when I was younger, I used to say these weird words "BBC 2 Videogame" What the hell was I even saying at the time? Was I assocating a game with a station from a different country? And how did I know said network and said phrase? Well because my mind was not smart, and mixed things up, and boom. That word. It did show that I was obsessed with things like 20th Century Studios's Logo (Disney), Warner Bros, Patrick Jenner's P Head And Pals, And Of Course Many Others, I mean, his channel was recently terminated by TH-cam due to using copyrighted material he doesn't own. I remember watching logo battle as well. And, uh effects too. Yes I'm autistic, of course I know this stuff. - Logan X. Szalai
Thank you so much for making this video as somebody who is officially diagnosed with ASD I was obsessed with these kinds of videos when I was like way 9, i'm 20 right now and for some reason, I was also in the special ed program where I seen like maybe five students five kids who were into that kind of stuff too, sometimes I evenget overstimulated with logos once a year once a while, I don't know if it's just me, but I also see like grown people people who are over the age of 16 actually into that stuff, I don't know if that's just me.
So, I was once “apart” of this community (I didn’t make vids, only watched them) and looking back on them, they were pretty weird. Well, the effects videos at least. I used to binge watch some of those “Logo Blooper” videos, but quickly grew out of those. I still watched effects videos, but then I realized how weird it was, and how some of the comments were pretty much what I can only deem as “stroke comments”. These types of comments were mostly found on these effects videos, and they’d comment either some nonsensical gibberish, were trying to speak English, but failed miserably, or just commented a specific timestamp in the video and saying something along the lines of “look like (insert random effect here)!!!” All in all, this whole “Logo Effects” subgenre was really something.
As someone who is in a Motion Design major, alot of these explainer videos are great to see the evolution and progression, as we have to animate logos occasionally. As for the fake logos animations; a logo is easy to animate, and can show your talent and is just great for your portfolio to show your skill. Just wanted to explain a bit more for certain things, as it just can be someone working on their portfolio or explaining a history for students to watch.
Great video, i've always been confused whenever i find videos like these in the wild. Also, i'm embarrassed to say, but i had nightmares of the Columbia pictures logo when i was younger... i legit don't know why
I legit had nightmares about the Windows XP boot screen with some bulge effect on the logo appearing on screens with an earrape version of the startup sound.
Oh god I remember logo edits 😭 I think these videos have left such marks on some kids and these videos MIGHT be why some people are weird today, me included.
I am diagnosed with Aspergers and I can tell you I was hooked on this community, however today I definitely cringe at this. I didn't know the community related to my autism but TIL. Just discovered your channel and I like that you stayed impartial on the subject throughout the video, take my sub
the logo community makes me think of a very certain "oddly interesting" mentality that us autists have. ive occasionally paid visits to it (probably even more than ive thought; i used to love "barney gives out goanimate error report cards" and that's sorta in the same vein
The only other time this community has been mentioned was from a medium level channel called Oddity Archive, hats off to Ben for being the springboard into anylizing this niche
Finally, it's about time someone's talking about them, as they've utterly *plagued* my subscriber count. I'm utterly surprised that the videos made by them weren't taken down for copyright infringement.
As someone in the logo-community, LOVE the video, and i think it's neat you used a video from Dave Madson, considering I'm one of his writers, but aside from that, you forgot a detail about the "scary logo" community. the BND of Doom community. There are LOADS of videos revolving around this single cheap fan made screamer.
i never really understood why all these communities kind of interconnect, like most people who post logo videos also like Greeny Phatom or GoAnimate or BFDI
I remember being DEEP into this content when i was a kid back in like, 2010 or 2011? as an autistic person, i think that did have an influence on my interest, i even remember making my own fan made version of the klasky csupo "robot" logo drawn in mspaint back then, i think i still have it saved somewhere X3 Back then I was ALSO into go!animate so I agree on the community crossover thing, too.
Also to mention: The sparta remix community also had ties with the logo community as well. I remember seeing logos like the intel inside and 20th centry fox having different versions of sparta remixes
As a sparta remixer, I can confirm that the Sparta Remix Community, the Logo Editing Community, and possibly the Object Show Community are kinda intertwined.
That community is just a mess. Most of the members are kids who type sentences with words being capitalized. Like This. This Is Kind Of Annoying. Don't get me started on the kiddos who just wants to ruin someone's carrier.
I ran a joke account once where I posed as a kid who was like 'I Am The Best In The Universe' it was so funny but I had to delete it because someone found out
I dont have autism, but i have adhd and something about logos/bumpers/that sort of thing just captivates me. I can spend hours just looking at the wiki for these
i was sadly a logo kid. i have autism spectrum disorder and were afraid of the studio logos at the beginning or end of movies, so i didn't watch anything in the movie theater until i was 10. i was mostly afraid of THX. i found other scary logos that i instantly get afraid of. one of them is what every logo kid used for effects: klasky csupo. when i learned how to use kinemaster, i did effects with the logos of klasky csupo, spiffy productions, and others on my old channel. sadly, i forgot what my old channel was called. i also was part of the object show community because most of the logo kids watched BFDI and used it for effects. i loved logos personally because i got scared of them, lol.
from what you're talking about, they're called noedolekciN videos, usually incorporating some sort of pop culture element sometimes aswell (like the pigs from angry birds) and are commonly just names of regular companies but either all or a few words are spelled backwards
As a person who had been diagnosed with autism (and liked logos at that time), The logo community is what made me feel special and it quite litterally shaped the way I like logos. There are some moments where they weren't good as you think of course, but stil the community changed my life alot. And while I haven't been hyperfixated into that much anymore, I still have a interest with them somehow.
hey, you should talking about BSoD kids as well, so far this type of 'community' is the weirdest rabbit hole I've encountered yet in online space. also those videos has simillar title pattern ([insert anything here] has BSoD [number]), and often overlaps with logo community as well.
I run a channel dedicated to digitizing old TV archives from videotapes, and i'd say that this "community" became a real disaster for archiving real TV continuity: 1) If you search for archive stuff from TV on YT, there's probability that most of results will be low-quality fakes made in Paint or even some shitty mobile video editor 2) Most of the videos are flooded with nonsense comments, like "Make (channel name) intro (date)". It seems that these kids don't even understand what digitizing means, they think we just make these videos by ourselves lol
I've known about the logo community for a while, and you have a good point. Even when I was younger, I always thought this stuff was weird and was clueless as to what was going on and it never sparked me. I am not part of the logo community, but I am part of the Sparta Remix community, so I have many mutuals that are. Maybe you should do a rabbit hole on the SRC next.
Super underrated vid! I’m currently part of the logo community that has to do with the “effects,” so it was super interesting seeing you cover all the sub-genres of this part of TH-cam. It’s a strange niche for sure, even I have to agree. 😅
It’s kinda funny that the studio that got ruined by logo kids (not Viacom) worked on some shows like rugrats, as told by ginger, and the wild thorn berries
As a casual fan of logos, you made a good video with good points about the community, even though not all logo fans are weird (no offense to them). Also, while I'm mostly not scared of "scary logos", but there are still some that are truly unnerving like the Ear Booker Productions (I had some nightmares about that logo, but it's very rare) and Horror Factory logos.
The YTPMV community you mentioned is actually pretty split on how close they are to logo edits. You have guys like skellygore, Jeff Lindblom, and others who make some pretty technical, and dare I say artistic, YTPMVs. Then you have people who make things like Shuric Scan YTPMVs by finding existing .veg files, haphazardly replace the sources with different videos and calling it a day. People from the former side generally don't like videos from the latter.
Hope you liked this video!
Please tell me other about other rabbit holes / weird channels you want me to cover.

Layer 2: Like you said earlier, the weird community overlappings like Lolman444 which seems to be the origin of the overlap, Patient 0 as you will and also don't forgo. And this is the part where it is going to degrade from here.
Layer 3: The other more touchy Object Shows like Object Terror, Random Objects Battle Royale, The Object Show Movie and oh god, Object Cosmos which has overlapped quite alot with the -Solarballs- I mean Planetballs community (The Solarballs community is yet another rabbit hole in its own right, just avoid mixing up with the actual Planetballs community) which knowing the nature of the OC subcommunity, sounds like an awful combo (and it is :I)
Layer 4: Awful people like BookNoteOSC, Shallothare and countless others, the bottom of the barrel.
also on a weird note, I have noticed that the OSC appeals more to a left wing audience and I heard that the Logo community has also that demographic, just wanted to point it out.
oh dear god object cosmos
you know it’s bad when one of my friend groups (consisting mostly of numberblocks fans) makes fun of it at any opportunity because of how poorly the show represents space
Lolman now uses any pronouns, btw.
i think the layers should go from popular > obscure instead of going from popular > controversial
so like at the top you can mention the basic stuff most members of the community know like bfdi and inanimate insanity and the stuff the huang twins made before bfdi, then the more obscure shows + addition of controversial shows like object terror, then go deeper into the more weird stuff like goanimate videos and ytpmvs and other things
@@GhostBrimstoneSeriously. That show was BAAAAAAAAAAAAD.
I thought I was deep in that community when I've never heard of some of the stuff on the top layer. O_O
Man, I remember watching bloopers.
By
Being an autistic Gen Z, I remember being fascinated by logos. Although they’ve been taken down, with a bit of searching you can still find reuploads of their rips, Giygas logo and all
*OH, GOD! I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO KNOWS GREENY PHANTOM!*
Greeny phantom sounds familiar to me
I used to be obsessed with the Pixar logo lamp with other variations several years ago.
Also, I give thanks to the logo community, and especially old ahh logos from the 70s and 80s for getting me interested in synthesized music.
Me too!
@@dorothyallspice1862 Dam, Glad I'm not the only one lol.
Being in the logo and physical media communities got me into movies and TV.
It doesn’t help that I have not really good anxiety too.
yeah that creeped me out too. the worldvision home logo haunted me at night for like 2 years straight.
Overall, solid video. keep it up!
Hello from the Chuck E Cheese community, Logo community members! I love small niches.
This video explained in 1 word: Autism
You didn't mention it, but I was obsessed with drawing logos in Paint when I was young (mostly Windows).
"The deeper you go into these communities, the more they resemble each other." Apparently D**k Figures is part of it now lol.
The GoAnimate Community is connected to the logo community if you wonder why the Viacom logo is overused now you know 💀💀
band logos are a whole different group of logos especially the *METAL BAND LOGOS* xavleg, sanguisugabogg, party canon!
Autism is being treated as a joke…
And I can clearly see why.
As a member of this community, I can definitely say it’s a strange place…
As someone who used to be in the logo community, logo effects and bploopers were like crack to 7 year old me.
Being intrested in Logos in the past is probably why i love flags now
Logo and GoAnimate kid here lol. Given that I also got into object shows (not until later though), I can definitely attest to the connections!
I get that, she’s a bit uncanny, is she real, is she a painting and why is she like the Statue of Liberty?
I legit had nightmares about the Windows XP boot screen with some bulge effect on the logo appearing on screens with an earrape version of the startup sound.
You're valid, I was scared of the Williams street logo when I was a kid.
Oh god I remember logo edits 😭
I think these videos have left such marks on some kids and these videos MIGHT be why some people are weird today, me included.
My favorite type of logo content are advertisement bumpers on european tv channels 🥰🥰🥰
it only took 10 years but someone finally made a video about this
I am diagnosed with Aspergers and I can tell you I was hooked on this community, however today I definitely cringe at this.
For me it was stuff like barney error
The only other time this community has been mentioned was from a medium level channel called Oddity Archive, hats off to Ben for being the springboard into anylizing this niche
Finally, it's about time someone's talking about them, as they've utterly *plagued* my subscriber count. I'm utterly surprised that the videos made by them weren't taken down for copyright infringement.
i ain't even into this typa stuff but binge watching those "top 3000 scariest logos" compilations is lowkey fun
I was part of this so-called "autistic" community once.
Oh, the memories...
i never really understood why all these communities kind of interconnect, like most people who post logo videos also like Greeny Phatom or GoAnimate or BFDI
I remember being DEEP into this content when i was a kid back in like, 2010 or 2011? as an autistic person, i think that did have an influence on my interest, i even remember making my own fan made version of the klasky csupo "robot" logo drawn in mspaint back then, i think i still have it saved somewhere X3
Back then I was ALSO into go!animate so I agree on the community crossover thing, too.
Yeah, all these 11-year-old-autist communities are full of those. I Don't Understand Why They Do It.
I ran a joke account once where I posed as a kid who was like 'I Am The Best In The Universe' it was so funny but I had to delete it because someone found out
I used to do that. I Don't Do This Anymore!
@@NaraSherko I never did that. My english was just really bad when I made this account.
I was part of the logo community. Thank goodness I left that community.
Finally someone who talks about this, how is there almost no videos talking about it
fr
My lil bro likes logos and he’s autistic
I’m not autistic, I just like logos and idents OK! They’re like a mini glimpse into the past, showing what music and visuals were popular at the time.
I remember being spooked by the viacom logo when I was a kid, but more like unnerved than actually scared.
I remember people doing these weird horror edits of various logos, And they have pretty messed up content in them
(e.g. Nickelodeon)
from what you're talking about, they're called noedolekciN videos, usually incorporating some sort of pop culture element sometimes aswell (like the pigs from angry birds) and are commonly just names of regular companies but either all or a few words are spelled backwards
I like vividly remember that for some reason a lot of logo kids were on Scratch
@@benjirodaboi8063 scratch in general is a hotbed for “strange” niches like this one
hey, you should talking about BSoD kids as well, so far this type of 'community' is the weirdest rabbit hole I've encountered yet in online space.
also those videos has simillar title pattern ([insert anything here] has BSoD [number]), and often overlaps with logo community as well.
I was briefly in the logo community back then when i was like, 10? but even i had no idea what TCB even meant LMAO
as a longtime spectator of the logo community... the only TCB i know is The Chemical Brothers
I never expected to see this in my life, but here I am
PLEAAASE TALK ABOUT THE TV ARCHIVING COMMUNITY!! IT IS ITS OWN RABBIT HOLE AND ITS CONNECTED WITH THE LOGO COMMUNITY!!!
PLEASE! I love the TV archiving niche, i find it do interesting.
I run a channel dedicated to digitizing old TV archives from videotapes, and i'd say that this "community" became a real disaster for archiving real TV continuity:
1) If you search for archive stuff from TV on YT, there's probability that most of results will be low-quality fakes made in Paint or even some shitty mobile video editor
2) Most of the videos are flooded with nonsense comments, like "Make (channel name) intro (date)". It seems that these kids don't even understand what digitizing means, they think we just make these videos by ourselves lol
I'm glad to see some acknowledgment for an obscure type of video that I used to be interested in
im not in the tcb community at all but i can definitely say something like "Television Company Bumpers" makes a lot more sense..
I've been studying the Logo Fandom for years, it's nice to see someone else who has heard of them!
I remember watching logos back in Late-2010s
FINALLY SOMEONE TALKS ABOUT THE LOGO KIDS💀
I've known about the logo community for a while, and you have a good point. Even when I was younger, I always thought this stuff was weird and was clueless as to what was going on and it never sparked me. I am not part of the logo community, but I am part of the Sparta Remix community, so I have many mutuals that are. Maybe you should do a rabbit hole on the SRC next.
He’s gonna get so confused when he finds out how deep the sparta remix community goes
underrated af! you deserve more subs lmao
Man I remember watching logo bloopers.
Im an autist myself and this is ridiculous
I renember these
This was all my watch list along with BFDI, stuff related to BFDI and like...cartoons i guess?
Super underrated vid! I’m currently part of the logo community that has to do with the “effects,” so it was super interesting seeing you cover all the sub-genres of this part of TH-cam. It’s a strange niche for sure, even I have to agree. 😅
It’s kinda funny that the studio that got ruined by logo kids (not Viacom) worked on some shows like rugrats, as told by ginger, and the wild thorn berries
ts was literally crack when I was 5-12
As a casual fan of logos, you made a good video with good points about the community, even though not all logo fans are weird (no offense to them).
