Since getting my 15-1 I have scoured the interwebs for tuition and there are good content creators out there. You are the best. For a few reasons: you walk through the functions and it is a step-by-step approach. Love it. You explain the use of >1 mode for the same recipe. Love that. You show the end results in detail. So, now I am being selfish, take us through the other functions... please :-) and a variety of dishes from casseroles (veg, meat), to baking bread and dehydrating food. It is always a bit daunting and imho, the books - they are not great. Thanks again, Sunny

I am not too bothered about Speed and think this might be better for us than the Speedi, but wish there was a comparison somewhere, so I could work out exactly what the differences are…..
It’s a tricky one but the 15 in 1 obviously has all functions. If you feel you don’t need steam meals/probe/bread/price then you can drop down to a lower foodi model. It depends on what you feel you will use. I don’t know much about the Speedi to help you with that

Hi, I don't think you will regret it!! A couple of people have mentioned some veggie recipes so I'm going to be very busy in the next few months trying to create something for everyone. If you have any favourites and would like to adept to the ninja let me know. Wishing you a very Happy New Year
Hi great video please tell me how many cups of liquid its said there ? I am thinking to get foodi or speedi ...not sure which one is is better and which one have bigger capacity..
I think it sounds good, I’ve not seen or used one yet. I like that you can stack and layer in the 15 in 1. The pressure cook option is my favourite so I think it just depends on what you like to cook.
Hi Susannah thank you for your informative recipes etc, I am new to the Ninja 15 in 1 multi cooker, but I cannot remove the anti clog cap ! any advice on this would be appreciated thank you.
It is very stiff and I find it almost impossible too. My nails don't help!!! I often have to get my husband or son to take it off for me. Sorry that doesn't really help you. It's a very tight space and you need a good grip on it. Maybe try using a cloth to give more grip. Good Luck
Outstanding! Thank you I received more info from you then the book that came with it. I have a question, did the hams texture change going from pressure cook to air fry? Oh yeah I got a good burn on my wrist trying to lift that basket, it's going to be a permanent tattoo! 😂
Hi, thanks for watching! It’s not air fried for very long, it’s only to crisp up the fat so don’t think it changes the ham inside. Oh no, it’s the down side of this model but it does so much. When I purchased I considered a dual air fryer but so pleased I got this model.
It really is a great machine. I have part 2 coming out soon of 'how to use' it showing different methods and functions. I have an Amazon link in my video descriptions and they have it at good price at the moment if you do decide to purchase one. I was tempted by an air fryer but glad I got this as it really does do everything
Blimey I don’t know. I suppose it depends on the temperature reached. If the temperature is right then I don’t see why not. You can put anything in the ninja that you can put in a conventional oven. Thanks for watching
Hi Susannah, I love your dishes but I haven't seen you do a recipe for pork chops. I would love if you could do that, air fried or sauteed would be great to see. Regards, Sheila
Hi, thanks for your feedback idea. I suppose I tend to cook what i really enjoy and I sway more to beef and chicken generally . I’ll have a look at some pork ideas over the next few weeks, I’m sure my husband will be pleased. Thanks for watching
Hi, is it a new machine? Have you looked or removed the lid seal recently? Was it on a particular recipe? Have you tried coming to pressure with just water in the pot as a test? sorry for all the questions, just trying to establish what's going on and see if I can help. Susannah
I find the 15 in 1 a little confusing, after using a Speedi for so long, just something as simple as thin boneless Mediterranean pork chops and veg. Would I put potatoes and veg in the bottom with liquid then use the air fryer pot for the chops or the rack..
I would use the wire rack and layer if you want to cook all at once. Meat on the top would be the way I’d cook it. To be honest I don’t cook many individual components of a meal in the ninja, more whole meals like slow cooked pasta or whole roast chicken etc
@@springy2479 depending on size of chicken etc I would keep an eye on it as may be done quicker and you don’t want it overcooked. You could use the probe in it.
Hi, thanks for watching. I like the Steam Air Fry metros best for a whole chicken and no reason why you can't out potatoes in with it - they will steam until tender and then crisp up when it changes to Air Fry. I hope that help - I have a video showing the chicken being cooked in this way
Hi, Thank you for your videos, I have a question, the quantity of food you are showing (in this video) looks quite small. Can you cook bigger quantities? I am a bit concerned by my pre teenage boy appetite! 😅 thank you.
Hi, I cook for 2 or 3 of us so these are the quantities I make. You can always double the quantities no problem. if you are not sure on cooking times please just ask@@peachy0506
Hi, Thanks so much for your lovely comment and for watching. I'm fairly new to this so a recipe book seems a long way off but you never know, maybe in the future!
I bought one a few months ago and after a couple of weeks, the lid wouldn't close after shacking what was inside. Ninja changed it after having to show them the problem via a video link, A couple of days ago it wouldn't close again. I can't be bothered to go through this rigmarole again so it will be a bin job if it continues. Next time it's a cheap one from ASDA.
Oh I’m sorry to hear this. I’ve never experienced any issues with mine. I’d get it replaced again if you can. I really enjoy using all the functions on mine but if you mainly air fry then there are a lot of smaller and cheaper options out there
Hi, I wouldn’t layer them as they won’t crisp up and cook as evenly. What I do is put in the wire rack and drape the pieces over so they dangle down. That way you can cook lots in one go and they will cook evenly. Bacon does shrink as you cook it and I turn half way so you could still prob fit 6 pieces in the bottom of the air fry basket.
Hi, you’ll love it. It takes a while to get use to it but once you do there will be no stopping you! Yes definitely… I’ve got a chicken and broccoli pasta recipe and next week a sausage and tomato based sauce pasta. I find pressure cooking the pasta for 1/2 the time on the packet is the best way. You need thin liquid to pressure cook (water/stock) to create the steam. I think I’m going to do a video about how to pressure cook as it can be tricky at first.
Hi, It's because it's a SLOW COOKER recipe so it takes a longer length of time to cook and the idea is that you can walk away, go out and come back to it. You can always make this using different functions if you prefer. Alternatively you can also check to see when the chicken reaches temperature and just cook it for that amount of time
Hi, after every use I clean with hot soapy water and a sponge but as and when it needs a deeper clean I use a full clean method. This is the video of how to do that… th-cam.com/video/oIRclLCeh54/w-d-xo.htmlsi=saaB43gXZdZNwzBR
Susannah please write a cook book, most on the market regarding the Max are rubbish, just bought a book from Amazon, recipe whole chicken on hi pressure without liquid, is this right?
I'm writing one right now! no idea if I'll get published but I'm going to try. the ninja won't come to pressure without a minimum of 250ml of water in the pot. You may want to return that book!!
I’ve only had my ninja 15 in 1 for 3 months it now keeps saying add pot every time I use it and sometimes the lid won’t close properly have you had any of these issues?
Oh really. Sounds faulty to me, it will be in warranty so I’d get it replaced. Mine only says ADD POT when I’ve removed it. Never had any lid issues either. I hope you get it sorted and they send you a new one
Hi, No unfortunately not (unless I haven’t discovered it). If you could delay the start of the slow cooking food/meat would be left sitting in the machine which isn’t good. What it does have is a keep warm function. At the end of cooking it will keep it at a temperature that is safe. This works well
@@susannahskitchen Thank you so much. I must say that I’ve found using the Ninja appliance slightly overwhelming at first but watching videos like yours definitely help. I will make sure to check your channel.

This is great! Steph would you do a vegetarian week with a few recipes like but roast. I don’t eat much meat. I’m told not to. If I do it’s a Sunday roast and using leftovers. So combi roast. But I’ve no idea how you’d make a nut roast in 15/1?
Hi. Great video. This is a really cool tool to have in the kitchen. Question, does Ninja make this product anymore? I can't seem to find this on their website.
@@matthewwhitaker4849 Hi, thanks for watching. Yes they still make it, I think it’s probably their best seller multi-cooker. Here is a link…

@@matthewwhitaker4849 hi, there is a better deal on Amazon … amzn.to/3WhyMIE
Thinking of buying one in the sales and you've now convinced me to get one. My wife and I are both vegetarian, so I hope there's a good range of veggie recipes out there!
Hi, I don't think you will regret it!! A couple of people have mentioned some veggie recipes so I'm going to be very busy in the next few months trying to create something for everyone. If you have any favourites and would like to adept to the ninja let me know.
Wishing you a very Happy New Year
@freefromlifestyle thanks, I look forward to seeing what comes up. I need to get my breath back after getting it out of the car first! 😅

Brilliant review and great ideas !! Just what I was looking for 😊
Thanks so much for a lovely comment and glad my video was helpful
Hi great video please tell me how many cups of liquid its said there ? I am thinking to get foodi or speedi ...not sure which one is is better and which one have bigger capacity..
Hi, the ninja foodi 15 in 1 is big - 7.5 litres I believe.
Hi great video thank you. Please tell me how high it is with the lid and with out it
Do you think the flexi draw is better if you want to cook multiple things at the same time?
Good Luck
Thank you, I managed to remove it by using a rubber glove for grip. @@susannahskitchen
Outstanding! Thank you I received more info from you
then the book that came with it.
Lovely and informative video thank you.
Thanks for watching. Have a lovely Sunday
Thank you so much for helping as I am new to my ninja combi xx
Good luck with it. I still have a lot to learn!
very informative, thinking about buying one so very helpful
It really is a great machine. I have part 2 coming out soon of 'how to use' it showing different methods and functions. I have an Amazon link in my video descriptions and they have it at good price at the moment if you do decide to purchase one. I was tempted by an air fryer but glad I got this as it really does do everything
Hi
Do you think it could be used for sterilizing and canning. kilner jars for jam and stuff btw great vidio
Blimey I don’t know. I suppose it depends on the temperature reached. If the temperature is right then I don’t see why not. You can put anything in the ninja that you can put in a conventional oven.
Thanks for watching
Had this for a year and only used air fryer. Hope u can teach me some tricks! 😅
I'm sure I can. Once you get into experimenting with it you realise how much it can do. I'd recommend trying one of my pressure cooked pasta dishes
Hello, does anyone have a fool prove way for Yorkshire Puddings, please. Thank you
Hi Susannah, mine keeps saying No pressure, I have everything set up right. Any help please x
Hi, is it a new machine? Have you looked or removed the lid seal recently? Was it on a particular recipe? Have you tried coming to pressure with just water in the pot as a test? sorry for all the questions, just trying to establish what's going on and see if I can help. Susannah
Thank you I look forward to seeing that vlog. David of Northampton.
Thank you again ! How about a seeded sourdough bread ?? Or anything sourdough 🥰
I have to be honest and say I’ve made two sour dough loaves in the last month and wasn’t happy enough with either to share on the channel.
Where can I find a 15 in 1 they don’t have them on Amazon just a 14 and 1
Here is a link to one on Amazon - amzn.to/45SBTsx
I find the 15 in 1 a little confusing, after using a Speedi for so long, just something as simple as thin boneless Mediterranean pork chops and veg. Would I put potatoes and veg in the bottom with liquid then use the air fryer pot for the chops or the rack..
I would use the wire rack and layer if you want to cook all at once. Meat on the top would be the way I’d cook it. To be honest I don’t cook many individual components of a meal in the ninja, more whole meals like slow cooked pasta or whole roast chicken etc
Hi How would I part cook potatoes then air fry chicken breast and potatoes
You can use the ‘steam air fry’ function which is like an equivalent of par boiling then air frying.
@freefromlifestyle so put water in put potatoes on rack then chicken on top the steam air fry ?? Is this for 20 mins ??
@@springy2479 depending on size of chicken etc I would keep an eye on it as may be done quicker and you don’t want it overcooked. You could use the probe in it.
@freefromlifestyle brilliant thank you so much. I am a total novice to steam air fryer at mo xx
Enjoyed your video. I have a question. Can you roast a whole chicken in this model and can you roast potatoes at the same time. Thank you
Hi,
thanks for watching.
Your videos are brilliant do you do a recipe book please
Hi, Thanks so much for your lovely comment and for watching. I'm fairly new to this so a recipe book seems a long way off but you never know, maybe in the future!
Great video, thanks Susannah 👍
Thanks for watching
I bought one a few months ago and after a couple of weeks, the lid wouldn't close after shacking what was inside. Ninja changed it after having to show them the problem via a video link,
A couple of days ago it wouldn't close again. I can't be bothered to go through this rigmarole again so it will be a bin job if it continues. Next time it's a cheap one from ASDA.
Oh I’m sorry to hear this. I’ve never experienced any issues with mine. I’d get it replaced again if you can. I really enjoy using all the functions on mine but if you mainly air fry then there are a lot of smaller and cheaper options out there
really helpful! this machine is complex
It is and can offer so much!
Can you put more than 2 pieces of bacon at the one time, say needed 6 pieces, can they be layered up
Hi, I wouldn’t layer them as they won’t crisp up and cook as evenly. What I do is put in the wire rack and drape the pieces over so they dangle down. That way you can cook lots in one go and they will cook evenly. Bacon does shrink as you cook it and I turn half way so you could still prob fit 6 pieces in the bottom of the air fry basket.
do this model have the 8 qut pot
Hi, The 15 in 1 has a 7.5 litre pot
Thankyou I've now purchased one
Can you cook pasta in sauce x
Hi, you’ll love it. It takes a while to get use to it but once you do there will be no stopping you! Yes definitely… I’ve got a chicken and broccoli pasta recipe and next week a sausage and tomato based sauce pasta. I find pressure cooking the pasta for 1/2 the time on the packet is the best way. You need thin liquid to pressure cook (water/stock) to create the steam. I think I’m going to do a video about how to pressure cook as it can be tricky at first.
th-cam.com/video/6CFkOMDDSao/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Noi2hrfh9DmZw10Z
I’ve linked the chicken and broccoli pressure cooked with pasta for you
Hi Susanna. Great video. But why do you need to do chicken for 3 or even 6 hours ? Its such a small pieces,,,
Hi, It's because it's a SLOW COOKER recipe so it takes a longer length of time to cook and the idea is that you can walk away, go out and come back to it. You can always make this using different functions if you prefer. Alternatively you can also check to see when the chicken reaches temperature and just cook it for that amount of time
how do you keep the pot so clean?
Hi, after every use I clean with hot soapy water and a sponge but as and when it needs a deeper clean I use a full clean method. This is the video of how to do that…
th-cam.com/video/oIRclLCeh54/w-d-xo.htmlsi=saaB43gXZdZNwzBR
Susannah please write a cook book, most on the market regarding the Max are rubbish, just bought a book from Amazon, recipe whole chicken on hi pressure without liquid, is this right?
I'm writing one right now! no idea if I'll get published but I'm going to try. the ninja won't come to pressure without a minimum of 250ml of water in the pot. You may want to return that book!!
@@susannahskitchen Brilliant I will be buying your book, thank you 😊
Exactly what I needed!!
Thank you so much! ❤
Glad the video was useful
Any idea how to cook a haggis?
Sorry no idea at all! Never had it
I’ve only had my ninja 15 in 1 for 3 months it now keeps saying add pot every time I use it and sometimes the lid won’t close properly have you had any of these issues?
Oh really. Sounds faulty to me, it will be in warranty so I’d get it replaced. Mine only says ADD POT when I’ve removed it. Never had any lid issues either. I hope you get it sorted and they send you a new one
@@susannahskitchen Yeah I hope they do replace it I’d be lost without it now.
Once you get use to it you wonder how you ever just had an oven! @@P900Coolpics

Does it have a delay start timer?
Hi, No unfortunately not (unless I haven’t discovered it). If you could delay the start of the slow cooking food/meat would be left sitting in the machine which isn’t good. What it does have is a keep warm function. At the end of cooking it will keep it at a temperature that is safe. This works well

How high is the 15:1. Ninja Uk says 36cm but that can’t be right surely? It looks taller than 15 inches? John Lewis and amazon say 17 inches?

Does the pro turn the meat off?
