  • Hi everyone. I thought I would answer some of the questions I have been getting about preloved items that are from Japanese sellers on eBay. I will share the items I have purchased along with the prices, conditions, and the sellers that I have purchased from. I have bought mostly Louis Vuitton items and one Chanel items.

    I have purchased a few items from sellers in Japan as well off eBay and they definitely describe everything very accurately and the shipping is very fast. You're a very good shopper😀 I find a lot of good deals but none as good as the ones you find👏

    Great video! I too buy from Japanese Sellers and have had good experiences. I also buy from 3 of the same sellers you listed 😊 I’ve purchased Louis Vuitton items, a Christian Dior Trotter print pochette and now I’m venturing over to Gucci.The couple negative experiences I’ve had were rectified quickly by the Seller or EBay and it worked out. Sometimes a wallet has been larger than expected or a small bag is much smaller than I expected but it’s my fault for not checking dimensions. It’s been so fun and I’ve enjoyed learning from your Chanel. Good luck on reaching your goal 🤞🏼👜🧡

      I too like monoshare. For some reason, a few have posted they were bad. I got great prices on authentic items.

    Very helpful video. I just bought my trousse from the same Japanese seller as well. I love it. I want to buy more from the Japanese market, but you're absolutely right...look at the pictures and read the description. Thanks again!!

    Enjoy watching your videos! I bought two small LV items from Japan and they STUNK of cig smoke!

      That is too bad. Did they disclose this? Leave them outside protected then put a dryer sheet in the item.

    • @bellanoche6116
      @bellanoche6116 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      No. I tried that and couldn't get the smell out either. :(

      Yes, leaving the your item open, in your garage will definitely help it acclimate and air out. Ugh! It is the worst type of odor to get out. Ozium deodorizer has been said to work also. When this has happened to me I message the seller and they typically respond with discounting and crediting your act a small portion for the inconvenience of no disclosure. Good luck and enjoy your purchases 😊

      Try putting some coffee beans in the item, preferably in a hot trunk of your car. Coffee is supposed to absorb odors. There are also things at the pet store (pouches of granules) that absorb odors.

    The bucket gm straps are on wrong, I think one end of the strap is supposed to be on the same side as the other. Since the bottom is an oval shape the long sides of the oval are supposed to have both ends.

    I am looking for some goodies but some of these prices feel a little too good to be true, there’s a black epi alma on monoshare and it’s listed at 99.00 and as far as I can see it looks legitimate but there’s no wear aside from some corner and side scuffing and damage to the shoulder strap, but I don’t use shoulder straps and prefer to arm carry.
    Is this typical? I’ve seen the same bag in similar condition go for about 3-500 on tradesy

      @JulieSorbello  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes. Just look carefully at the photos. Also see what the shipping cost is. Japan has such an abundance of goods that the prices are lower.

    Hey! Thanks for the reviews! Do you know how customs work? I'm interested in Japanese resellers but I have no clue about customs. Thanks!

    Have you ever received a bag from japan that has a strong chemical odor? If so, do you know why that is?

    Thanks for the comparison video! I've been debating between the 30 and 35. Did you have to pay for any additional import fees/taxes when ordering from these sellers? TIA

      That is great you have good thrift stores to shop in.

    Hi! How did you go about paying for customs? Im still new to this and I’m interested in purchasing one on ebay.

    • @JulieSorbello
      @JulieSorbello  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I did not have to pay customs. From the comments I have received, I believe it has to be at a higher value. However, I bought a bag for $1800 and did not have customs.

    Hi I love your videos! Have all your items delivered fast? I bought my first Chanel and the seller shipped next day but it is stuck in Japan. Has not moved Since Oct 11. I am covered with EBay and the seller is not at fault. I’m waiting to find out what’s going on with it. Wish me luck I really want it! Thank you

    Check out bedos leatherworks on instagram for your bucket bag leather. He also has a TH-cam. He is a leather worker on the east coast who seems very laid back and kind and does excellent work. He posts lots of luxury refurbishing.
