I've been building models for fifty years now. I'm a model builder, This man is an artist!
We're all nothing compared to Plasmo
The amount of detail you can create is just incredible!
It should be 𝒔𝒍𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒍𝒚 easier on the larger scale model but David just seems to increase the level of detail even farther.👌
It never ceases to amaze me, his attention to it is admirable
@@georgethomas9040 i kind of half expected to see fart stains in the seats myself
...it's called 'creative gismology'...
This reminds me of the 1/32nd Minogram kit...the Visible Mustang from the 60s...I built one..
You're in a class of your own. I do not know if there is anyone else who would be able to make a model this way. Hats off.
try a4 garage
Ja mogę!!!
Not that hard just needs effort and time
Bobby Waldron of Genesis Models does a great job too. Amazing details, great job.
Try night shift. But plasmo is very talented.
Chuck Yeager was (and still is) a childhood idol of mine because he was "The Fastest Man Alive". Your treatment of his famous P-51D is incredible. Thank you for doing such a wonderful job.
" The first time I saw a jet I shot it down " CY . Probably in that very aeroplane . ❤️
He was a great guy he past away last year I believe. I got to work on his vehicles that he had his z/28,his van and his pick up truck he traded his corvette for. That was when was the AC/DELCO SPOKESMAN for them
One of the very few channels where I give a thumbs up before seeing the video, great job.
For some parts, especially like the seat with the scratches, I forget that this is all a plastic model
That model belongs to a museum !
Man, you have the steady hands of a surgeon.
I swear you could almost think you went into a museum and shrunk a P-51 down to this size. Amazing job!
Absolutely one of the most beautiful mustangs I've ever seen. Well done, Plasmo. Glad to see you again!
Great job mate, 32 is such a great scale, i am working on phantom now and it really takes me too long but i want it to be my best build yet 😋😅
Another absolutely stunning build. I haven't built a model since childhood, but I love watching you create. You truly are a master of your craft.
Plasmo blows me away in 1/72
1/32 will be insane
Wonderful. Thanks for sharing.
"P-51 Mustang! Cadillac of the sky!"
The commitment and quality you put to these models is astounding. Just unlike anything anywhere else
This man don’t do modeling. He does art
David, I know it's not the intent of your videos, but I want to let you know you have the perfect voice, music, and interesting visuals for getting my 3 year old son to sleep. He runs to the rocking chair every night begging to watch your channel as he drifts off to sleep. Your videos have led hours of father son bonding for me, and I thank you for it!
I can only dream about being this good at building model aircraft.
"And on the 8th day of creation, after resting, God created "Plasmo", and Saw that it was... Detailed.. 👍👍👍 best part of my day David! Fantástic
I am not a modeler, I watch these videos to admire a genius at work! I am always amazed.
Each second of this film is a lesson. Bravo
And the Oscar goes to...David! 🎉🎉
There are master builders and then there is Plasmo all alone in his league.
It is amazing to watch him create true pieces of art! He has the patience of Job and the hands of a surgeon.
Bloody incredible work as usual. Whoever commissioned this is one lucky person.
12:05 that is because this way is easier and cheaper to design and construct injection mold for that part. cores on moving side of the mould is the easy way around
Wow this is going to be so epic.
Haven’t seen it yet.
That red blue logo still stands for a quality product, even after all these years!

Tak tohle je naprostý masakr 🤯 Kdyby to šlo, tak dám těch 👍🏻rovnou 10! Vypadá to, že stavba modelu zabrala nejspíš víc času, než montáž skutečného letounu 😄
I've said it before, and I'll say it again, really love the "Top Gear"-esque intros
Every single time....
I started mine got 3/4 through, you released this video, I stop building, put it back in the box and start something new.
Brilliant. A Masterpiece ! You set the standard for professional scale model building.
This Mustang plane looks really real!
Best model I have ever seen. I’d pay big money for it.
Neuveriteľný cit pre detail. Vďaka za super videá.
Plasmo manages to make the model look better than the actually aircraft...it's incredible.
Well, what can I say?!?
A masterpiece worthy of a museum, created by a master of his trade.
Beautiful work. A joy to watch.
Bravo, David! 👏🏻
A work of art.
Watching videos like this, I am reminded of how Tamiya delivers superior materials and products to the world.
When I think you've reached a new high in perfection you blow me away by doing these awesome things I would love to spend a week watching your techniques keep up keep up the the awesome work you do.
Hello Lets start watching!!!
P-51! Cadillac of the Sky!
holy cats, I feel like each new video cant be more amazing and then the next one comes out and proves me wrong. this P51 is stunning :D
You are clearly a “Jedi Master” of model building. Your modeling skills are perfectly matched by your soundtrack selections. You are definitely in a class all by yourself. Bravo!
Fantastic job. Building the late version. Now wish added more detail to the engine and wheel bay. Great inspiration for the overall finish.
Woah! Absolutely stunning. Love from 🇮🇳
Absolutely mind blowing I love it
Truly brilliant and beautiful work David!
This the CHUCK YEAGER Mustang, it is not only a plane, it is a piece of history!
Wow! That's a model show winner for sure! I'm currently building Revell 1/72 P-47M. Greetings from Finland!
Before i watch this,i would like to thank you personally, superb as always,so informative 🇬🇧🙏
Bravo 👀 🔥🔥🔥
WoW beautiful job on that plane. I had the opportunity to meet and work on all of his vehicles years ago he was a great guy. He lived in my town and I was good friends with his daughter
I did a 1/32 Scale model of a P-51 Fifty years ago (Age 18) using parts from a "Phantom" Mustang to get all the pieces to make up a similar model as you have. I covered it with individual pieces of Reynolds wrap aluminum foil using the shiny and dull sides. I still have it today and find it hard to believe I had the patience to do it all. You sir are a true "Master Modeler"! Your models are absolute perfection, thanks for the videos!
Excellent work with the details!
By far the best model aircraft build video I’ve seen the level of detail is outstanding
Commentary, was eloquent and clear
Teda musím říct že kdykoliv se kouknu na Tvije veledíla, tak sedím s úžasem a padá mi sáňka 😀. Zkrátka naprostá paráda. A tenhle mustang mně dostal. Mám rád tyto éra. A samozřejmě vše kolem modelařiny. Jednoho mustanga mám i jako RC model rozpětí metr 1700mm, takže je to pro mně srdcovka. Jsem Tvým velkým fandem a přeji mnoho takových krasavců. 👍✈🛩
Top marks , your work is beyond compare.
Your "Summary" at the beginning always gets a good laugh out of me!
As an avid p51 enjoyer in DCS, I am in love with the control panel. The fuel selector was a really nice addition
The oh yeah got me😂😂🤣🤣 nice details and as always great video
FANTASTIC BUILD!!!!!! What a realistic and beautiful P-51. You created an amazing model!!! One of the best I've seen anywhere!!! Bravo!!!!
This fixed my depression after I've painted a spitfire with wrong shade of blue yesterday
Dedication to detail is something else . Wish my eyes were young again .
Sir, you are an artist. I am in complete awe of your skills.
There are no words to match your beautiful work.
Wow..😮 I knew I assembled and painted pretty decent looking models, knowing full well some go above and beyond, but WOW! THIS IS ADMIRABLE AND IMPRESSIVE!
The p51 is my absolute favorite WW2 era plane , I love your videos and watching these models come to life
Best model maker 👌👌👌
Plasmo is one of the best and most resouceful modellers we've seen and in the world of this hobby he's a star. But it takes a lot of time and money to tool up and reach this level. Not many of us have the time !
I've watched your videos over and over learning more each time I watch. Last year while watching a video of you airbrushing something I realized that I could turn an old nebulizer pump into an airbrush compressor.
Thanks for the inspiration!
This is the first time I have heard a modeller say that the first two thirds of the wing were filled and sanded smooth - the laminar flow wing wouldn't provide the performance otherwise. That part of the wing was therefore painted and not NMF. Interesting that Plasmo admits he didn't want to show it precisely that way - although top marks for the painted surface. Magnificent work.
Sir, you are a plastic model builder GOD. Just plain awesome. Anyone would be lucky to have a model built by you.
David, no one would mistake you for a beginning modeler; you have established yourself as one of the very best there is. A such, I believe you are in a position to get answers for the questions you pose at 12:05 - the never-answered question of ejector-pin marks. Would you, as a leader of model builders, take on the effort to ask major kit manufacturers why the hell they can't design a kit with hidden ejector-pin markings as in this kit? Maybe there is a perfectly good reason. If so, that's just a fact of life we model makers can deal with. But if it's a simple matter to do a better job hiding them, but they just don't see the need (as hard as that is to accept) then we need to raise such a fuss that they WILL see the need and take steps to correct this error.
As you point out in this kit, Tamiya has added absolutely incredible details in this (and many more of their) model, and thankfully they are not alone. But they are also not alone in this problem. Maybe with your credibility, you might be able to wake up the people that need to understand the issue and fix it. Can you please help us all, and contact Tamiya to start with? Let them know we expect better, if it a doable process. And if not, tell us!
Thank you David, for your many years of dedication of this great hobby. I hope I'm not asking too much of you, but I believe you have a much better chance of getting heard than some bub named "WHO???" (me- no channel, no following, no nutttin'!!!)
And anybody reading this, who do we need to contact at each manufacturer to fix this issue? Anyone have names, emails, phone numbers? Thank you all.
Opět famózní záležitost. Děkuji.
Bro.. I think plasmo its best in the world.. its amazing what he can do
You must get some kind of satisfaction from the comment section of each video🤔?!
The amount of blokes that want to pick up the habit again is staggering!!! But it's all because of YOU and YOUR TALENT!!!!
MY HATS OFF TO YOU KIND SIR.......
With so much detail added I wouldn't be surprised if it starts to fly on its own. Awesome work of art!
A totally awesome model!
Absolutely Stunning. Chuck would have been proud!!!
You have the dexterity of a surgeon. A true artist.
My dad used to work for Monogram Models in Niles Il. doing all the hand engraving work on the kits.
The panels, the rivets, wood grain on the ship hulls, the faces, hands and clothes of the pilots, drivers and crew is all done by hand back then before high speed C.N.C. and E.D.M.
I went into the trade, but didn't have the patience (or skill) for the fine hand work.
I became a precision grinder hand in the laminate/connector mold side of mold making.
The work was very fine and precise, I used to get a lot of guys marveling at the patience required for the work, I would tell them "this? LOL! this is nothing!"
My god, the engine itself could be displayed on its own; magnificent!
i really like your progression to entertain me even more than you used to! I really enjoy those intros, "yays" and other jokes you started making! evrything seems even more nice
The level of detail and work done on the model is unbelievable!
"...paint chessboard with Gryffindor colors." The BEST!
Your builds are without peer, your English is impeccable.
this man makes more details in a small as heck engine and cockpit than a whole i model i build.
this is how much I suck.
this man is a legend.
Your talent is unsurpassed, I love learning from you and your attention to detail. Thank you from the States!
I started thinking about building models again (It has been years!). I found your video and I am absolutely amazed at what you do. I could not build anything close to your beautiful masterpieces if I spent the rest of my life working on just one. Thank you for sharing what you do.
I’d love to see an Italian model or diorama one day. I feel like Italy really doesn’t get any recognition whatsoever, despite being a major power in the war. From what I’ve seen, you can’t really find any Italian WWII models. I know he’s already done the RN Roma and that one Churchill passing through an arch in Italy, but it would still be nice to see a directly Italian diorama. I know it’s shooting for the stars, but a man can dream
Finally, what a build 👌
Sitting here, slack jaw, shaking my head. That is simply brilliant work. Thank you for daunting and inspiring me.
Late to the party on this video. But I wanted to say, I haven't built a model since I was 13 or so. 29 now and your attention to detail on the wiring and paint made me have a blast of nostalgia I was not ready for. Great work.
Editing to add. My previous was made only a few minutes into the video.....I did not give you nearly enough credit. You're not a modeler, you're a realism prop master. You need to reach out to Adam Savage man.
Your attention to detail is off the charts , You are thre Michelangelo of Model's .👍
Очень круто! Настоящий мастер! Много лет подписан на этот канал и каждый раз удивляет!
I love your builds Plasmo. I watch them again and again.
Came into my garage to clean up from last night's work. 28:10 later...garage is untouched. Your work is mesmerizing! Exceptional craftsmanship and patience. Well done.
