I don't see any improvements that really matter, like better battery life or more and better health monitoring features.
Beta 6 removed the bug connected with clocks app, precisely with current location clock. It didn’t show up on previous versions. Consequently sunrise and sunset time complication didn’t show time on watch faces. Now it’s working.
I have a iPhone 14 Pro, but it has some issues. The issues are poor battery life, overheating, scrolling stuttering screen issues and lags in games issues of my iPhone 14 Pro. Software updates didn’t help and Apple Store employee checked it and said that the phone is ok. Therefore I want to either buy a 13 Pro from parallel importer store or trade in to the 15 Pro / Pro Max. Or maybe wait for the 16 Pro / Pro Max because it’s a S year of the iPhone (since the 13 Pro), so therefore they will be more stable and reliable phones with better battery life. What do you recommend to do?
14 pro is a good phone, if you want spend money get new 15, if not just stay and get 16, nothing wrong with 14, wait for os to be more stable that may help with battery life
Hi I have been updating my 12 pro and se series watches with all the beta updates for IOS 17 and watch OS 10. My photo album has stopped syncing to my Family watch . I have updating betas on each of the three devices ( one se watch and one family se watch) i have checked numerous times all sync and cloud sharing etc settings are correct also my personal SE watch is able to sync with albums and the watch faces show them.. but with my family watch I am unable to sync .. called Apple support but they dont help for devices with beta updates My only solution is to wait until these versions are released publicly and then stop the beta updates at my end
I’d be interested to know how the watch faces that were previously adjusted via the crown like the Kaleidoscope, Solar, and similar faces are being handled now that the crown is dedicated to revealing the widgets, there seems to be little discussion of this
@@ukoronje They should have left it as just using the crown to interact with watch faces instead of having to tap the screen and then use the crown. And although I don't mind pressing the side button to open the control center, why change it in the first place? Now, by swiping up from the bottom of the screen or rotating the crown while on the watch face, the Smart Stack will appear. What's the point of having both perform the same function? Why not just swipe up to control center and rotate the crown to bring up the Smart Stack?🤔
You need to have iOS 17 on ur phone first, but if you go back to iOS 16, your Apple Watch can’t go back and it can’t communicate with your phone…it’s risky but you can do it
Only thing that bugs me is that watchOS 10 gets rid of the turning crown for night mode, it felt so convenient to be able to change my watch face to a viewable face on the fly
notifications is still the same? i have a problem with notifications on watch os, i think that the app icon is too big and the text is too small, i dont know if people thinks the same
I have noticed battery being just a little better... although this is the first time. It's been pretty bad on the 10 betas. I would say about a 3-5% improvement. Series 8.
My Ultra's battery has been terrible with this update. I just checked my battery since I last took it off the charger at 100%. It's been 15 hours and it's at 42%...
This is really cool! I love that new face from Snoopy jeje and I really love the feature of what is playing now and the fact that you can pause it and play it as well from the watch.. definitely iOS 17 Beta 7 and watch OS 10 are really good.. hopefully the next Betas or when finally comes out for everyone it remains steady! All this with WatchOS 9.* and an 85% battery status. Since I uploaded the 10 beta version especially 6 and 8, the battery does not exceed 24 hours. A very obvious disaster caused by the software!!!
There was a massive bug with handoff and podcasts between iOS and watchOS when using AirPods Pro 2. It does seem to be a bit better now. It was near enough unusable.
It’s not looking good to me. Switching apps still reveals the watchface, which isn’t smooth at it was before when the side button was used for that instead of double-tapping the Digital Crown and the camera viewfinder doesn’t work properly if you start a video by long pressing the photo mode on the iPhone (it will display on the watch, but when you try to stop it from there, it will continue on the iPhone and show it stopped on the watch). If they only managed to fix those issues, would be very good, but it seems they will made their way into the final release
I’ve had an issue with my Watch freezing. I’ve noticed it because the Watch face I use has a second hand and, about 5 times in the last few days, the second hand has stopped. I’ve had to press the crown and side button simultaneously to sort it; and once I turned off the Watch and left it for 15 minutes. Fingers crossed, it hasn’t happened since I installed the latest public beta. 🤞
I don't know if it happened before. When you enter heart rate you get two vibrations. I have never felt them before. I've commented this in your 9.6.1 video by mistake.
I’ve seen a slight issue on this build for the apple ultra watch. Seems when you adjust your privacy to show or hide apps when wrist is down won’t take effect intermittently. For example the calendar schedule always shows. If you reboot the watch a few times it will work. I have not seen this before. Then again some apps work fine like iMessage badge count. Just wanted to throw that out.

Installed watchos10 yesterday and battery is very good on my Ultra even with Snoopy and always on. 2.6%/h is very good for a beta. After installing and wait for some minutes Inimmediatily made a hard reset and restarted the watch
Thanks for sharing. You always have great videos on updates! I would like to see the ability to scrub through the music forward or back like on the iPhone with the watch when you’re playing music. I would like to also update the watch without having to stick it on the charger.

I hate the new watch OS, don’t like the widgets at all, don’t like the new menu as well. Only good thing is live activities as workout for my cycling so I can see stats on iPhone

A bug I’ve noticed: using workout app (eg a walk) when you try to use wallet, double click brings up blank face instead of Apple pay (or other wallet item. Have to pause workout to use wallet. Has been a consistent issue and not a one off.
What is the complication in the middle of the modular watch face in the video please? I’ve been through them all and can’t find it

They will be incremental when you go from later beta to later beta, but watchOS 10 in general is a huge redesign.

you press on the watch face and then the crown activates
U tap the face and then u can interact with it using the crown
You tap them and then you can use the crown on them

I’m still having trouble with the timer complication not showing the timer or showing the wrong time on the timer.

My watch series 8 is draining a lil bit faster then the last beta. But love the features.

The OS10 made my Watch S6 way slower and the animation isn’t smooth at all, like if the animation is lower than 30fps.

When I put mine on charge it seems to cap the maximum charge. Mine was capped to 82%
It had a specific UI for it, so seems to be a feature

I reported an issue where my phone was off but watch got the iMessage and when I turned on my phone the message never showed up
