- Hi!Welcome to my channel.Here is a beautiful jelly cake island idea to impress your loved ones. More Ocean? Beach cake ideas : • Autumn themed cake

1. I have used 3 layers of 6" Chocolate cake and sandwiched them with chocolate Ganache.
2. Used cake cutoffs mixed with ganache to get the shape of mountains.
3.Covered the cake with chocolate ganache.
4.Applied some melted white chocolate for the bottom of the cake
5.Painted the cake with white gel coloring mixed with Vodka.You can use lemon extract instead.
6.7.Put the cake in the fridge, chill.
8.Mix 120 g of gelatin with 1.5 cups-of cold water and let it sit for 15 minutes.
9.Boil 150g sugar with 600ml water
10.Add 2 tablespoon of lemon juice
11.pour Hot water over the bloomed gelatin and stir very well,
12.Add a drop of blue food coloring and mix
13.Put the cake on a 7" springform pan and sealed it well with plastic wrap and tape.
14.Got a 4" tall acetate sheet And sprayed it with oil
15.Wrap up the cake with acetate sheet.
16.Finally add gelatin mix Slowly
17.Used Crushed Marie cookies for the moss.Color the cookies with two shades of green,
18.Put it on top of the mountains.
19.Used white gel coloring to get the wave effect.
Ganache recipe:
8oz/160 g semi sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup whipping cream

You are not only a talented cook but a very talented artist aswell, normally pretty cakes don’t taste as good as a regular original chocolate or vanilla because bakers layer it out with icing like children’s cartoon cakes but YOU using jelly made made it sooo good I can tell because jelly and chocolate cake goes great with ice cream too. I am new to baking and would LOVE to try this you made it look so easy! I have a question, is there a reason you used unflavored gelatin? would it make a difference if it was flavored?

There’s a dessert called a custard truffle (or trifle? Not sure) and it has cake and jelly together and it’s pretty good so i think it would be ok maybe a bit to get used to tho
It doesnt have any special taste together. If u have ever had a truffle this will be like the taste of that 😊

At first I thought this is click bait shit but man you should really be a professional cake baker, this cake looks so awesome and so tasty🎂🥰😋😋. My mouth was watering as soon as the ganache appeared though 😜. But this cake is so ravishing and exceptionally good😊. I hope you keep having such creative ideas cuz you bake simple and create extraordinary, at least I didn't notice anything too extravagant amongst the ingredients' list except the gelatin and to be honest gelatin could be bought if one really wants to make this cake. Genuine question here: can we use agar instead of gelatin? I'm just curious
I haven’t used agar agar but since it works same as gelatin. I think it would work too
You can but you need to make sure you get the Japanese brand not the Thai brand. Japanese is clear, the Thai one is a muddy yellowish color. Also agar tends to make a looser gel so use a little more agar to water ratio or it may collapse.
