The first clip isn't recent, as the people are wearing winter jackets and also masks. It could be during Chinese New Year or Covid times; some chinese malls have fewer people in them now as many things are cheaper online and everyone in China does things digitally. Have you seen the empty stores at New York City and San Francisco? It's empty. LaoWei foreign shops closing as they are being replaced by native Chinese brands. Replacing Nike, Nissan, Ford, Toyota, and less of European luxury brands.
